Oddly enough, I was offered an "in" into politics when I was younger. I declined with "maybe in a few years; there are some things I want to do first."

In retrospect, maybe I should have pressed for a position for VP Quayle... Public image consultant/media relations or some such... Anything to have kept him from talking to Murphy Brown like she was a real person instead of a fictional character. But most spell it potato and a few spell it potatoe, I guess.

So the thread died
I should have called it "Mod Hall of Fame" that would have attracted attention.
And I really didn't want it to be "my" thread, so all is good.

But so it goes with the current attention span.
