Sure, someday they will be able to grow a fetus completely from a fertilized egg in an artificial womb, changing all the viability parameters.

We'll see how wonderful it is to have millions of new unwanted children being sent into the system every day. You think we have problems with all the illegals coming over here - just wait until we have all the home grown undesirables being added to the population. It'll be swell.

Medical researchers can get human tissue without buying it from people who harvest human organs from live babies.

We Don’t Need Abortions for Vaccines or Stem Cells

thefederalist.com...

In the field of hepatology, when orthotopic liver transplantation is not possible, human primary hepatocytes represent the ‘gold standard’, in particular for the establishment of bioartificial liver (BAL) support systems. They also serve as an important tool in research and are of particular interest for in vitro pharmaco-toxicology. Consequently, there is a considerable and increasing demand for human primary hepatocytes, yet their use is hampered by inadequate supply, high cost, high variability and low in vitroproliferation capacity. These constraints have prompted a large-scale search for alternative cell sources, such as hepatic cell lines and stem-cell derived hepatocytes. In contrast to primary cells, cell lines are readily available, and usually have an unlimited growth potential and high reproducibility. Hepatic cell lines are either derived directly from liver tumor tissue or artificially generated from primary hepatocytesin vitro.
Clearly, there are many legal ways to obtain human tissue now that do not require what is occurring at Planned Parenthood.

Top scientists meet in Moscow, tell Russian government: Fetus is human. Ban abortion.

That is incredible...

Searching Google turns up only a couple of hits on this.

One can only imagine that if the elite could brush that story under a rug they would do it in a New York second.

I can imagine Planned Parenthood's reaction would probably be like Superman being hit with a piece of Krytonite...

It's not human tissue we're talking about, it's embryonic stem cells and fetal STEM cells, derived from fetal tissue. These cells are not like any other cells, not even adult stem cells.

I regret mine too and I assume there are more than two of us. It just takes courage to admit it.

I guess those didn't work???

Okay. Do you think that because you regret your choice, other women should be denied the same opportunity of choice?

The practice of infanticide has roots back to our primordial ancestors.
We have judged the value of human life since the beginning of time.
Must we continue justifying our actions based on history?

The selections where commonly based on gender, females had less worth in cultures from Asia and the Roman empire. But any child rejected by its Father was cast to waste. That was normal and accepted.
Perhaps we should just revert to this practice.

Are we to base our choices on science? These cultures assumed there actions as "science" it was the logic of the day.
Should we condemn them? No, but we must condemn our selves.
We are to evolve to become more compassionate beings.

We are not refuse, every child killed confirms our self contempt.

Ah, yes! Russia! America should follow Russia's lead and have a president more like Putin, discriminate against and imprison gays and now, petition to outlaw abortion!

A fertilized egg isn't a child. An embryo isn't a child. A fetus isn't a child.

No WIndWord, I can and will not condemn any one for their choice. There is no logic in your response, you don't take time to contemplate to listen. You have replied to one of my posts like that before.

This is in some ways a lost battle no amount of rhetoric will touch the hearts of those who think this is a just cause.
The heart must be alive to beat. Our hearts our souls have been numbed, conditioned be silent in the name of free will.

I'm passionate because a woman's right to choose IS a just cause.

It seems that a lot of people want to impress their moral compass on others, and when they fail, they accuse them of being less than human.

In my opinion, a woman's ability to decide when and if she want's a family is a sacred NEW breakthrough, a long time coming! All children should be wanted and loved. No children should be disenfranchised, neglected, or abused, due to lack of means, or of love and compassion.

Please have the courage to look up Aborted Babies.
These little tiny beings are human beings.
I am sorry I agitate you I wish we could find common grounds.

In time perhaps we may all truly listen.

I'm not ignorant to what an abortion is. Your plea to emotion isn't good enough for me to agree to strip the rights of women.

The bleating bit was for more others.
I know the answer and it is education but I would love to see the solutions from the people who want to ban it.
Make it illegal what then?.
