So i was on another one of my favourite sites today (bestgore) and saw the latest video released by ISIS, which shows 7-8 men being forced to kneel on landmines which were then detonated and ..well you can imagine the results. (id post a link to the video but not entirely sure due to its extremely graphic content if its allowed here..if i get the green light then ill edit and add it)

Anyway this got me thinking how ISIS have been able to carry out these killings for so long when you have the UK and US etc on the case so to speak, i mean the US has one of the best military's in the world, the amount of money spent on defense alone in the US dwarfs that of its allies and other countries.

It also came to me how ISIS seem to steer clear of Israel, which makes me think that ISIS are actually carrying out these atrocities FOR Israel, if this is indeed the case, it would explain why Obama seems to be hesitant to come up with a plan to target and defeat ISIS despite the Pentagon claiming otherwise.

“The idea that he would now put the blame on the Pentagon for having lacked in offering him plans is exactly consistent with Obama’s method, which is to always blame others.”

One military official reacted angrily to Obama’s blamesmanship:

“What the f— was that,” the official told Fox News. “We have given him lots of options, he just hasn’t acted on them.”

pjmedia.com...

With Israel being an ally of the US is this perhaps why Obama is dragging his heels? I mean how hard can it be with all the technology that the US has at its disposal including some serious satellites

www.seattlepi.com...

How is it that ISIS is still here?

On the subject of ISIS that claim to be killing people with accordance to sharia law, since when is throwing gays off buildings shariah law? since when is putting men in cages and drowning them in a pool shariah law? since when is tying explosive wire around a row of ten men's necks and blowing their heads off shariah law? or this latest one with the landmines, or putting men in a car and firing an RPG at the fuel tank shariah?

These men are literally thinking of different ways to kill people, and its not in accordance with shariah but for their own pleasure and amusement, and i am convinced that they are henchmen of Israel and i think the US and the UK know that and that is why these men are STILL able to carry out this murderous rampage across the middle east.

what are your thoughts?

US, Saudi and Israel. After a success like 9/11 why would they stop?

Right now, they're useful.

When they out live their usefulness.

They will go extinct.

It seems like it's "one of those thing" that is more than meets the eye. If you know what I mean. ISIS had to have gotten resources from "somewhere" who's to say they don't have an "agency" assisting them?

ISIS is still here because they haven't been eliminated by the powers in the region. America is only supplying air strike support and supplies for the ground troops.

ISIS isn't really expanding much anymore though. Their tactics of expand rapidly using the element of surprise has petered out. They only stay relevant by releasing videos online and making people like you upset.

I have noticed that they seem to be sporting a lot of US tanks and weaponry and even clothing...i assumed that was because when the US pulled the last of its troops out of the middle east they just left all their tanks and vehicles etc...

Because they exist. They will do it as long as they exist. Getting rid of them is like hunting down every last cockroach in your house and killing them one by one.

Nah, US Military is notorious for destroying any vehicles (ground and air both) on the spot that no longer function or cannot readily leave a combat zone or unfriendly area......

The simplest answer to your question is, there are too many people making too much money from the "war on terror" for any of it to be stopped.
While many people will contradict me on this point; do you really think such a small group of fighters would be even noticed in an outright battle with any modern army which decided to clean them out?
Even the French could eliminate 30 to 50 thousand fighters without breaking a sweat.

Well things like this take time. There ARE forces working to take them out, and as long as ISIS isn't wiped out completely they will continue to do these things. It's what they do. I'm mostly glad that they aren't expanding as quickly as they once were. I mean think about this. Look how seriously everyone was taking their Caliphate claim when they first arrived on the world stage. Does anyone take that claim seriously anymore? Of course not. They've pissed off even other terrorist organizations. There is no WAY they could ever unite the entire Muslim world under a Caliphate at this point.

Stopped reading as soon as I saw this:

when you have the UK and US

No. "You don't have the UK and the US". You have Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Turkey, Pakistan, the UAE, etc.
You don't have the UK and the US.

Incorrect supposition.

War is far more complicated than a video game. ISIS first of all is not single entity is an amalgamation of many. It occupies cities that you can not just raze to the ground. ISIS has to be removed, town by town, building by building, room by room. And that is a long process being carried out by a fragile coalition that is more used to fighting each other and not a common foe. In Syria their are so many sides that their is no common effort against ISIS. The US uses air support to make sure ISIS can not advance but, is not going to send troops into what would only become and even bigger mess.

As for Israel, it is simply to far away. While ISIS has made efforts to push towards Israel, Israel has not been sitting on its hands. It has sent weapons to Jordan as buffer zone, it has supported the Druze and a mix of other groups that have formed a buffer along the Syrian border, and in Hamas also provides a buffer keeping ISIS out because it knows that ISIS would bring a full military response, and in the Sinai Israel has been working with Egypt to take out any ISIS supporters.

ISIS does have a six part plan for destroying Israel. Parts of the plan include creating a base of operations by conquering Iraq and Syria, then moving on Jordan, Lebanon and Gaza. Causing chaos in the Gulf States and Egypt and a series of attacks in the US forcing the US to leave the region and abandon Israel. Then ISIS sees itself in a position to eliminate Israel once and for all. Of course the first part of the plan failed.

So now ISIS has one advance moving towards Israel in Syria and if breaks through the Israeli backed buffer zone, Israel will simply move in and occupy the buffer zone themselves. Israel is simply to powerful for ISIS to take on at the moment much like the Turks and Jordan. ISIS success has been against two nearly failed states.
