Bonnie and I chatted ever so often by PM/u2u and she made me always wish that we had more members like her.

Know this my dear lady, that where ever you have laid out out your next adventure to Bonnie, that we will miss you here on Earth.

I wish you well in your new travels.

I am touched a website is able to bring so many together.

It's a real testament to your friend.

It's a real testament to this website.

I'm amazed at what your friend accomplished.

To be loved all over the world is really quite something.

I am so deeply saddened by the loss of one of our most respected and loved members...

Bonnie was a lady... a pearl... a gem... and above all, one of the most kindest caring people that I have ever been so lucky to have crossed and to have equally had as a friend.

We spent quite a bit of time together discussing on Skype and her wisdom was overwhelming...

I used to niggle her all the time by singing her a certain song which used to really get her laughing her socks off...

So Bonnie, just for you one last time :

If I could change Norma to Bonnie, then this one is for you my dear :

Rest in everlasting peace my dear and loved friend...

You were a pillar...

*snip*

Ps. HumansEh... I sincerely thank you and my positive thoughts go out to you as well as Bonnies loved ones.

I was in touch with Bonnie quite a bit on Facebook, messenger until, recently I wasn't aware her health had deteriorated., she was always very supportive of me with my illness. I just feel bad we never got the chance to say goodbye, she was such a caring and loving and positive person. She will be sorely missed by many I'm sure. Rip Bonnie

I am so sad to hear this news.

I already missed her on the board lately and knew she had been unwell on and off but hoped she would get better for good.
Such a friendly and funny woman, a great loss.

RIP my friend.

We shared a fair few U2U's and she always seemed warm and nice.

Thank you for telling us about Bonnie in your eloquent, heartfelt eulogy. I do remember her posts.

Gone From My Sight
by Henry Van Dyke

I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side,
spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts
for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength.
I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck
of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.

Then, someone at my side says, "There, she is gone"

Gone where?

Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast,
hull and spar as she was when she left my side.
And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port.

Her diminished size is in me -- not in her.
And, just at the moment when someone says, "There, she is gone,"
there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices
ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!"

And that is dying...

Death comes in its own time, in its own way.
Death is as unique as the individual experiencing it.

Chin up fellow member, from what I've read she would not want you to dwell. She will always make you laugh whenever you think of her.

Sometimes the internet is accused of being a soulless form of communication, but sometimes there is a special soul that taps away at the keys, And once the fingers stop tapping you realize just how much you missed those words. That might be a poor metaphor and maybe your good friend is laughing at my corny post from that big ol' forum in the sky.

Farewell Iamschist.

Godspeed, lovely Bonnie.

Regardless of how we might bicker among ourselves sometimes, ATS is a family and when we lose one of our own, they are truly and sorely missed.

I am truly saddned by her passing. She was one of my original friends here. Although I have been away for some time I will miss the conversations we had both on the boards and behind the scenes. Fly high m'lady and I'll see you on the flip side. I'll miss you till then.

Thank you so much for doing this. I hope that you know just how much Bonnie loved you, your friendship was such a joy to her and it gave her so much happiness to have you in her life. We are lucky people to have known, loved and been loved by her. I can't say more than that right now, it hurts much too much, I know that she was ready but I wasn't and find myself lacking.

Be well and strong (and I will endeavour to do the same, and the lady proud).

With kindest regards.

Hello Chloe, Yes we were so lucky to have loved & be loved by her, she was such a joy to me and I still cannot believe she is gone.

I'm trying to type through tears and my own grief is too raw at the moment to say much.
I sent you a U2U earlier. If you want to talk I'm here.

One thing myself and Bonnie had in common was an acute Game of Thrones obsession.
The next series will be a sad one without our nerdish dissection and speculation about Westerosi shenanigans.

Ideally Bonnie still exists as herself somewhere, and she is free from pain, free from grief and aware of the shining love that she has left in the hearts of those she left behind, I smile to imagine our Bonnie laughing and riding her own dragon high across valleys plains and mountains, free and happy.

Valar Morghulis.

May I please take this opportunity to thank once again the ATS community who have shown their love and paid their kind respects through this thread.
Its the last thread I ever wanted to have to post.
But the outpouring of good will from members who knew her (and those who didn't) has been such a support during this sad time. And has made me proud of Bonnie who touched so many lives.

I am proud to be a member of such a community, as was Bonnie who left her mark on the boards for posterity.
Thank you.
Thank you all.

My condolences to you and all those who cared about her or knew her.

The world is a darker place now that her candle has gone out.

Blessed be.
