I agree with Maverick. The white male is still the "alpha dog" and has a lot of societal privileges that other groups do not have. Sometimes the privileged don't realize they are privileged as much as other people do. The equality movement aims to put everyone on the same playing field.

Some white men do abuse their privileges, and those are the ones that annoy other groups of people the most. Others enjoy their privileges without ever giving it a second thought. I think we have made a lot of progress in the past few hundred years. These days, the "white suppression" is a lot more nuanced.

Here is one example.

The U.S. population includes 12 percent African Americans, 9 percent Hispanics, and 3 percent Asian/Pacific Islanders and other groups. Congress, however, is 87 percent white; 85 percent in the House and 96 percent in the Senate.

The leadership is still white males, or the "alpha dogs" as you can see. From the statistics, women have it worse than minorities. There is still work to be done.

Some black man break the law.

The point being, if I were black and saying "I'm not a stereotype"...I'd be lauded right now.

But, being a white man and saying I am not racist or sexist....I am being told to shut up. Accept my guilt by association. Accept my guilt by gender. Accent my guilt by skin color.

Do I REALLY have to point out the fault in this?

If you're not a rapist, or a racist, who cares what you read, or what you hear some people saying? If you're 46, you surely have heard things before that weren't true or accurate. Unless somebody's in your face, threatening you, ignore the accusations and know that whoever the yellers are talking about, they not talking about you, and move on. I'm guessing you have more important things to do than to spend all your time trying to right all the wrongs.

A little out of topic maybe, sorry about that.
Males are males and unless they're green I think they are generally spoken all the same. They are more egocentric, more aggressive, more obsessed by porn, they have more criminal behavior … etcetera. Some males are 50 years or more behind the most cultivated men, but in time they will have equal features (generally spoken because there are a lot of exceptions).
And if women now are standing up everywhere in the world (thank you facebook) let them take their kind of revenge. Their reaction comes with a vengeance. And because of more than 8000 years of suppression by men it’ s not more than normal.
There are a lot of good guys, black or whatever color, but there a far more women than men which we can consider ‘good’.

Over to the next topic: what is ‘good’. Conclusion: the discussion will never end.
