I was hoping to find a thread about this already, but there isn't (that I know of). So Infowars happened to catch a "Border Drug Smuggling Operation" in the act in Loredo, TX on the eve of Donald Trump's visit.. to Loredo, TX. But it looks ridiculously staged, the whole video. Please deconstruct it, ATS!

Looks real to me. His claim they took pictures of them is missing… "Why they are hiding out". The river is the border in places, can't patrol every yard of it all the time.

Looks real enough I guess, I just don't buy the whole we are hiding out part.

It looks pretty legit.

Right down to the car nearly smashing into that truck. Though, the question I have is, what was in those bags? It could be anything - it's most likely drugs, but you never know.

Do you think drugs are not smuggled?

No. Well yes. I think Alex Jones paid some dudes to pretend to be smuggling something. Their body language is cartoonish.

They were agents of the Department of Just-ice.

I find it amusing how often people use "body language" from videos as evidence for anything. From "proof" of the Apollo hoax to...this. Not sure what the point of hoaxing a video of a smuggling operation would be though. Unless you think it doesn't happen.

If it's Alex Jones, it's not trustworthy.
That's all I have to say.

When I first joined here, I thought he was legit. Now, I see he is equivalent to Icke or Limbaugh or Beck or O'Reilly.....

So, you don't think drug smuggling happens either?

What I'd like to see is the footage from the time between the first scene and the second scene.

The first scene shows the "illegals" crossing the river, then the video cuts immediately to the second scene, which is the shot of the "illegals" loading up the truck. And they (Infowars) have the shot all set up perfectly.

You'd think they'd leave the footage as is to show how they were able to set up to film that vehicle, was the vehicle there when they arrived or what? IDGI. The missing time seems very suspicious. As does, which I mentioned previously, the cartoonish body language and looking back at the camera.

Infowars?
Informants would be a better name.

People still listen to Alex's crap?

It does happen, obviously. I just don't trust Alex Jones.

When it comes to Jones trust is hardly a consideration.
But so what?

I get that. But your opinion would seem to be based strictly on the source.
Do you have any reason to believe that the source of the video itself is Jones?

Yes. The video has over 100,000 views and like 95% thumbs UP last I checked. I understand most of us at ATS are probably beyond the point of being affected by or taking Infowars seriously, but it still remains the main source of disinfo and bullsh*ttery causing on-going damage to the collective alt. news/conspiracy community. And deserves to be called out, from time-to-time.

Oh, well,

I just noticed the little "Infowars" logo on the screen. Is that fake? It if is, then it's Alex Jones' problem to correct for people pirating his logo.
Doesn't mean I have to trust anything from Infowars or Alex Jones.

Absolutely.
But is the source of the video of the event even provided? And again, even if the video were found to be fake, what's the point? Smuggling happens, doesn't it? Jones want to blame it on the administration. Big surprise.
