So we're to just take his story at face value and go "Yep, that sounds reasonable! CIA Mind Control remotes! How could I not have seen this before?!"

Sorry, I require a little more than just "My ex KGB cop friend said it's true, so it must be." to believe something like that.

You support hearsay with more hearsay. Really doesn't mean a whole lot, man.

Your diction and syntax is pretty interesting though!

Exactly exactly...

In Soviet Russia we miss certain words...

Is normal.

Hi! Welcome to ATS. You might be new here so let me give you some friendly advice.

If you post a claim as outrageous as what you've posted here, and all you have to offer for proof is "Some ex-KGB guy told me", it will most certainly not pass muster with the community.

Do you have any proof of your claims? Pictures, leaked documents, anything beyond a conversation?

No it's not friendly advice, your are insulting.
This thread is in skunk works and you clearly knew that he didn't have any proof whatsoever.

Screw the community and screw your baiting.

Then don't, who cares?
Ah yes, you do...then research it yourself.

You know you won't get anything anyway.

I am no going to denied that this is possible, why? because we in the US have something similar to make you feel good, is called antidepressant drugs, but they can back fire too.

Of course I won't get anything. I can't PROVE the non-existence of such a device just as I can't PROVE flying unicorns that puke rainbow gumdrops don't exist.

The burden of proof always lies with the person making such claims. I could easily use your logic and go proclaim "Leprechauns stole my time-machine!" And nobody could prove that A) I never owned a time machine B) Leprechauns don't exist and C) They stole aforementioned time-machine. Does that make ME right? No, no it doesn't.

To be fair I found this information

Mind Control With
Silent Sounds And Super
Computers - READ

The mind-altering mechanism is based on a subliminal carrier technology: the Silent Sound Spread Spectrum (SSSS), sometimes called "S-quad" or "Squad". It was developed by Dr Oliver Lowery of Norcross, Georgia, and is described in US Patent #5,159,703, "Silent Subliminal Presentation System", dated October 27, 1992. The abstract for the patent reads: "A silent communications system in which nonaural carriers, in the very low or very high audio-frequency range or in the adjacent ultrasonic frequency spectrum are amplitude- or frequency-modulated with the desired intelligence and propagated acoustically or vibrationally, for inducement into the brain, typically through the use of loudspeakers, earphones, or piezoelectric transducers. The modulated carriers may be transmitted directly in real time or may be conveniently recorded and stored on mechanical, magnetic, or optical media for delayed or repeated transmission to the listener."

DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) has come to us every few years to see if there are ways to incapacitate the central nervous system remotely,' Dr F. Terry Hambrecht, head of the Neural Prostheses Program at NIH, told US News, 'but nothing has ever come of if,' he said. 'That is too science-fiction and far-fetched."' It may sound "science fiction and far-fetched" but it is not. However, that is just what the powers-that-be want you to believe, so as to leave them alone in their relentless pursuit of...what? The idea behind non-lethal weapons is to incapacitate the enemy without actually killing them, or, in the case of riot control or hostage situations, to disable the participants without permanent injury, preferably without their knowing it. The electromagnetic mind-altering technologies would all fall into this class of weapons, but since they are all officially non-existent, who is to decide when and where they will be used? And why should selected companies in the entertainment industry reportedly be allowed access to this technology when the very fact of its existence is denied to the general public? As recently as last month [February], this stonewall approach of total denial or silence on the subject still held fast, even toward committees of the US Congress! - The Joint Economics Committee, chaired by Jim Saxton (R-NJ), convened on February 25, 1998 for the "Hearing on Radio Frequency Weapons and Proliferation: Potential Impact on the Economy". Invited testimony included statements by several authorities from the military:

The article shows how the KGB has used this type of mind controlling since the 90s

KGB PSYCHOTRONICS This technology did not spring up overnight. It has a long history of development and denials of development-by the US Government and probably half of the other governments of the world as well. We know that the former Soviet Union was actively engaged in this type of research. In a previous article we reported that during the 1970s the Soviet KGB developed a Psychotronic Influence System (PIS) that was used to turn soldiers into programmable 'human weapons'. The system employed a combination of highfrequency radiowaves and hypnosis. The PIS project was begun in response to a similar training scheme launched in the US by President Carter, according to Yuri Malin, former security adviser to USSR President Gorbachev.[8]

So in all this years technology change and it can become more efficient.

What is so hard to believe that governments wouldn't experiment and find way to effect the human brain with electrical signals created by an outside source?

I would be more shocked if it has not been tried and been at least some what successful.

I recall discussions of the Russians beaming microwaves into the US embassy in, I believe it was, Moscow.

No problem, we in ATS had discussions on this type of mind programing once in a while, sadly the information is hard to find and more often than not is relegated as conspiracies, due to the fact that if is really been used it will be very controversial and strictly under secrecy.

But you can find a whistle blower here and there.

I have little doubt various governments have tried various methods of mind control. One need only look to the MKULTRA project in the U.S. for an example that was made public knowledge.

I just wonder if they've really innovated to the point where it's small enough to carry around and "shoot" at people to make them compliant.

I have a feeling it does nt work on ever one.
and that they have them n cell phone towers.
and maybe in new moblie phones.

not to use all the time.
just to get people to fall for news stories.
they must be using some thing to control peple.
look at how many fell for 911. building 7.

and you thought tin foil hat was a joke!!!
now you know the truth they will be out to get you.

This is an interesting theory. I'm sorry, I haven't read the entire thread yet, but I am compelled to share my thoughts.

It's been scientifically proven that the human brain can react to different radio frequencies positively and negatively. All you need is a RF emitter set to a specific frequency to get the desired effect.

I have to laugh at the people requesting links and proof in the SKUNK WORKS sub-forum. Stifling discussion much?

Also, I'm sorry but I'm going to go off on a bit of a tangent here: In every thread there are some posters who keep asking for links with proof. The links will either be from mainstream media, which can't really be trusted, or from non-mainstream websites, which no one here seems to take seriously. How, then, is anything supposed to be proven?
