Yes, media outlets are corporations.

No, freedom of speech is not limited to or based up on the business activities of the corporation.

If you notice, I stated above that freedom of speech is probably more applicable to "independent journalists" and whatever you consider the "Center for Medical Progress." To me it is utterly obvious that this company was set up and utilized as a fraudulent enterprise, from inception to the present.

Freedom of Speech and Press do differentiate, however, although I would say that the distinction is very fine in the case of internet-only media by individuals rather than companies. I am not a specialist on that by any means ... are you?

However, what is very clear to me is that both freedom of speech and press are limited by defamation law. The "Center for Medical Progress" was not conceived nor constructed as a legitimate medical concern but merely as a shell corporation with the sole intent to deceive. This fact is clear. Its actions were to misrepresent itself not just in terms of identity, but in terms of seeking business and forming contracts. That is fraud.

As far as publishing or not publishing, I would guess that the judge issuing the temporary order has sufficient evidence to make that determination.

TL;DR - There is no right, of either speech or press, to publish untrue (non-factual) material that harms others.

Free Speech

It has nothing to do with free speech, but rather state and federal laws that prevent wiretapping and conversation recording.

Did they break the law, or did they have permission?

We have consumer groups filming bad contractors by setting up a sting in good house needs no repair asks for a check on the roof . The bad ones got charged with fraud when they took the bait.

News agencies get a title loan and shows the scam charges filed on the loan company .

news agencies open a shop to catch extortion by officials.

Consumer groups (and police have also ) have set up pawn shops to catch thieves pawning stolen goods.

Consumer groups buy used cars on film have it checked prove it was misrepresented.

Consumer groups took a computer with a simple problem (loose wire) to 10 stores with computer techs filmed the sales pitch on why they needed a new computer.

Consumer groups set up junk yards (and police have also ) and act like its a chop shop to catch car thieves.

Reporters take jobs with to get a story no intention of working just to get the story. Animal rights or sexual misconduct or unsafe working condition the list is long.

When you look at the last 20 years of investigative reporting and compare it to this . You need to ask these questions on the gag order.

Why is Stem express special ?

Why is Planed Parenthood special ?

Could it be PP is a political sacred cow ?

because in california it is illegal to tape someone without their knowledge if the person has a reasonable expectation that it's a private conversation.

oh I don't know, overly liberal, million dollar mansions, hollywood,
overall, I think it might be a bit too liberal for me...
texas is weird to me also, for the opposite reason, it's just too conservative for me.
me saying that it's weird doesn't mean that I have any animosity toward either of them. for the most part they are places that I really don't have much interest in what goes on. California has earthquakes and droughts, I'll never move there, and well, I don't foresee me ever going back to texas.

That makes sense.

CA is a "Live & Let Live" state.

Some say Californians are unfriendly. But, it's just you don't invade anyone else's space.

CA is a big state. It has high concentrated areas that are more liberal, but probably most of it is farm land and conservative. We've had both Republican and Democratic governors.

Hollywood itself is an old city with a lot of retirees and Jewish sects. "Hollywood" the industry is spread out all over the world.

I'd say there are probably bigger mansions in the South. But, the industry is a people industry and socializing is required. Homes are business.

The weather and casual "Live, Let Live" is what brings people here. It is however very competitive.

When people talk Los Angeles, they're usually referring to downtown, which is the low income area ---- every place has one.

I don't have to look, the imaginary videos are posted here for me with amazing regularity.

Further, I didn't ask you to post more silly youtube videos that prove nothing.

Here's the point: the fraudulent "Center for Medical Progress" is a sham corporation and not only committed multiple acts of fraud and slander/libel but were dumb enough to record every episode and distribute it across the internet.

No, but I would imagine somebody must have filed a notification by now.

Maybe they have to verify the 4th video is in fact a violation.

Perhaps it was leaked or it's not even real.

There's a thread, but nobody knows or has even asked that question.

Good point and it shows another massive failure by government IMO.
