I wish I didn't know any of this. Ignorance can be bliss, but that bliss can come at a very price which is why I feel morally responsible to spread what I know.

A little more awareness is a certain kind of hell. You draw out the people that want to silence that from coming to light. I think though you are on the right path, too. Just keep putting your candle out for others to see. The alternative is to put it back under a basket, but you already know your conscience won't allow that.

In the Republic of Plato, The Allegory of the Caves, the last section dealt with going back in the cave to free others, loosing their chains, and drag them kicking and screaming to the light. To give back what were given.

Can't go back and live in the cave, though. If you could though, would you want to?

I don't know if you've read Plato, the Matrix uses that analogy in reference to waking others up.

Don't know a lot about their history, so this is just a hunch, but the Founding Fathers may be where the birthplace of Man was supposed to have occurred - Mesopotamia. They were Sumerians. Lots of information was placed on walls back then The imagery fits as well. I don't believe she was talking about the FF of 200+ years ago, that's for sure.

I was thinking more along the lines of the walls of the Freemason's Lodge in Philadelphia... I just haven't looked into anything having been written there yet. Stuck doing a project with a deadline here first.

So the Illuminati started out as "good" and than gradually morphed into a force for social control that lead us inexorably down the garden path into hell where people of color are no longer considered only 2/3 human, women get to vote, everyone is free to marry whom they choose to love and most people aren't forced to work 16+ hour days, 7 days a week, just to eat?

I don't know where to start first....

#1) The Rockefellers could really give a rat's ass about Kurt Cobain. The guy, a great artist for sure, was also a drug addict, mentally ill, and spouted all kinds of things. Unless you are proposing that it was a "joint conspiracy" (pun intended) between the Rockefellers and Courtney Love, this theory blows worse than Hole. (Again, pun intended)

#2) Some serious mental gymnastics going on by the OP to create anything out of this... Madonna has pursued the mystery schools. That's pretty well documented. Of course she has heard of the "Illuminati" and, having studied esoteric knowledge, knows what it REALLY means. Her song is not some confession about a shadow group of alleged 'elites' but a song about enlightenment. She clearly states that it is NOT what the OP, Hollywood, or conspiracy theorists are attempting to make it out to be. It is about an idea...knowledge....enlightenment.

Part of the founding fathers edict was to separate church from state, they knew from Europe's quagmire (the union of king and pope 'representing' god) how dangerous organized religion is.

I think when Madonna said the writing on the walls, she meant the monuments. I have been there and read them, and their letters to each other. We are so far gone form constitutional laws as they laid that out for posterity,
