omg, dude.

Go back to page one and read about it.
These are Church People. Training their leaders (supervisors, whatever you want to call the guys in charge of the services and congregations) to become politicians. Training those 'pastors' to find members of their congregations who are willing to run for office.

Show us who is actually a 501(c)(3) organization.

The articles don't prove any.

Don't you think these people have lawyers involved?

Why would they jeopardize a tax status?

Well, if they were leftist theocrats like names were Father Michael Pfleger, Reverend Wright, Reverend Sharpton, Reverend Jackson, et al, they wouldn't even have to worry about that.

Well of course, because as we all know simply being on the left means nothing ever happens to you. All Gov. agencies just totally let you break any law ever thought of and just do as you please.

Meanwhile, being on the Right means being shunned and abused and constantly silenced and persecuted for doing absolutely nothing at all. Poor wittle Conservative Christians just trying to do good in the world and the evil Government with it's leftist policies out to destroy them!!!!! Ah ah ah aahhahahha

Give me a break man.

Why are you trying to shift this over to who the IRS is going after and blaming the "Leftists" for whatever the hell you have issue with.

This thread isn't about any of that. But it would be a shame to actually have to admit that there is a radical right wing christian theocratic movement that is actively planning on subverting the Gov. wouldn't it???

I know you're not Religious but this should concern you too.

That's the problem--the kerfuffle seems to be that youse guys have a problem with "radical right wing" Christians but no problem with "radical left wing" Christians. Right now the Christian right does not want to take my guns away, raid my bank account, redistribute my wealth--but left wing Christians do. Is the upset with Christians or is the upset really with conservatives?

Well, you should know by now that with me personally I don't like radicals on either side and certainly not when that is mixed with Religion.

I'm not a fan of Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson or the rest either. But, once again, this thread is about this Evangelical movement that is literally training Pastors to infiltrate the Gov. from the inside and turn us into a theocracy. That happens to be a Right Wing Sect of people who are doing this. That's just how it is.

My focus isn't about if it's a Right Wing or Left Wing movement though. I don't care what side it's coming from. The main issue is the takeover of Gov. by Religion.

This is where your bias does you harm. You are stuck with the Right/Left mindset and it's slanting your better judgement. Because you lean to the Right, a Radical Right Wing Theocracy takeover seems fine with you. But if it was a Radical Left Wing Theocracy you'd be screaming from the hilltops. The problem is however, that in either case you're going to have a Theocracy and that's not good.

BTW, if you don't think the Conservatives are after your money you're crazy. The only difference is that they don't want to redistribute it, they just want to keep it for themselves.

This is nothing new. Reagan won the white house on the back of the christian coalition. The major political machines in the 19th and early 20th century did the same.

I'm not for any theocracy. I'm just more concerned about the philosophies that want to harm me the most. What is worse? Right winger who won't let me buy a bloody Mary on a Sunday until noon, or a left winger who wants to empty out my bank account? A right winger who puts my porn on the back shelf of the bookstore or a left winger who wants to ban my guns?

So far the doom and gloom of a right winged theocracy has just been a lot of hot air to rally the left's base.

Once again, you are letting your bias slant even your examples here. One extreme deserves another but you aren't doing that. You have the Left taking all your guns while the Right only puts your porn on the back shelf. But that isn't correct. If the left wants to remove all your guns, the Right is going to Ban all porn, bad language and non missionary sexual positions. Let's be fair here shall we.

You keep saying the Left wants to empty your bank account as if the those on the Right don't??? Unless you're in their little rich mans club they want to empty your account just as bad. They also want all the subsidies they can get, pay no taxes, reduce all wages and have you work until the day you die.

But, all of this aside. May I state once again, this isn't a Left/Right issue. It's a Government vs. Religion issue. I don't care if this is being done from Left Wing Religious Nuts or Right Wing ones. The problem is with them trying to install a theocratic authority in Government. You know, just like the very same Gov. our founders were escaping from when they came here and created this one. Get over the fact that the Right has been co-opted by a bunch of Religious Loons, quit defending them because of your loyalty to partisan politics and just look at it for what it is.

But are they? Really? I'm actually more free in the Bible belt than I was in D.C. on several levels.

Sure, they want to get more people of their ilk elected, but SO DOES EVERY OTHER SINGLE GROUP.

You want to ban religious people from politics? I mean, what is the issue here? Isn't an anti-religious litmus test just as unconstitutional as a pro-litmus one?

So far, other than people wanting representatives like them, I don't see any call for a theocracy. I've never met a "right wing Christian" who called for a theocracy.

Is it really "fear of a theocracy" or is it simply dislike for Christians?

The way things have been going, the right wing theocracy is not going to happen and is nowhere a realistic fear. You've more to concern with environmentalist statists getting too much power than the Bible thumpers.

Please go back to page one, and read the articles. Also, watch the video I posted from 7mountains.org

They ARE calling for a Theocracy.

If you all ATS members don't want to see that, or acknowledge it, then that's on YOU. You are now aware of it.

Perhaps you need to pay closer attention then. Or try simply reading what is presented in this thread for starters. Sometimes you actually have to take in new information to know something you didn't know before. Somethings actually happen outside what you personally see and hear.

Feel free to keep trying to make this into a Right/Left debate. Keep trying to imply that I'm really just using this as an excuse to hate Christians. Keep trying to deflect all you'd like rather than look at the evidence. What you're doing won't work because this isn't some underhanded ploy that is being used to hide some secret agenda. These people are openly admitting what they are up to. Look up Dominion Theology. Look up American Renewal Project. It's right out in the open whether or not you want to see it is up to you.

Well minus the "religious" overtones, they do make some true points.

Seems to describe the current propaganda agendas pretty accurately.

MSM, schools, arts & entertainment, etc. etc.

Our President is Christian; the last President was Christian.

Our Congress is 92% Christian.

The Supreme Court has 7/9 Christians

I think the "percentages" of Christian Representation in American government is safe.

The individuals referred to in the OP are not "merely representatives" of the Christian religion.

Anyone who denies that the stated goals of these groups are to overtake the American system of government and implement God's Law either are ignorant of what these people stand for or blatantly misrepresenting what they know to be true.

Yah, aren't they all???

I'd be interested to know what big names who claim to be Christian you actually think are real Christians unlike Obama. Because from what I've seen Christians have a habit of calling other Christians, fakes. Yet they all seem to be doing the same things while all pointing at each other as being false Christians.

The truest Christians I've ever known are typically very unnoticed, humble, average every day folk who keep mostly to themselves.

Of course they do. Those ARE the pillars of culture and society.....
the fact that they want take them all over is the problem. So, you can't "minus" the "religious overtones", because the RELIGION part is foremost on their agenda.
