I listened to his speech.........again where are his solutions? Its all platitudes.......
If people dont want to look at his background and see this for what it is then we deserve what we can get......
Again we have much more qualified conservative candidates who have actually stood their ground in politics for conservative values and have a history of doing so.....
In the face of the mulititude of candidates that we have, why anyone would get behind the Trump circus blows my mind....
We had 8 yrs of elected platitudes (no offense to my liberal friends)
If we elect another one who has no solutions then we get what we deserve
A very valid point that we should pay close attention to, one that has become very apparent in the Democrat Race is what are the candidates actually SELLING - themselves or solutions (at least ideas).
Trump is selling himself and he really doesn't care about anything else - he just wants the 'notch on his belt' of being President on his list...
I think Clinton is the same....
Neither care who pays for it, who benefits and who suffers and dies just so long as they go down in history as a president.
That's the question What are they Selling us.

Im with you on illegal immigration.........but again.....he doesnt really have a solution , its just tough talk.......
Look into the other candidates and some of the solutions they have put forth....
Im just saying, as many others see, Trump is about his own interest, and I can guarantee you everyone, and everything else in this country will come behind that......
Because hes not going to do a DAMN thing thats going to have an impact on his own business interests

Well then my hope is that his remarks will be a catalyst that gets the other candidates discussing their solutions!

He is "Hurting the Republican Brand"! Not making it up dude! Fox has been screaming that statement! My question is when in the hell did a political party become a brand?
Is it me or does having a brand, remind you of a "Corporation" in a lawsuit? Politics are like religion! The faithful believe in an ideology, BUT A BRAND???????
Something to think about........
Edit: Are political parties now CORPORATIONS??????

1. Trump is his own brand......
2. Im not voting Rep or Dem , im going to vote for who I think has the best solutions, and stands by their prinicples.....
So if hes hurting their brand meh!
However Trump is all about promoting his own brand.......
Should we just switch one for the other?

The underlying issue is that Trump isn't out to win the GOP nomination. He is engaged in a PR stunt. I don't begrudge him for this at all. Looking at the rest of the GOP field only Jeb Bush is out to win the nomination. The likes of Rand Paul are looking to build there national profile with perhaps 2020 in mind.
The GOP will settle for legislative control over occupying the White House. The Democratic party did just the same thing during the Reagan era. I expect that Jeb will be the GOP throw away candidate in 2016.

In honesty compared to the presidency's of Bush 43 and Obama , Trump wouldn't look all that bad if he was a genuine presidential candidate. He would be the ideal president to oversee the US defaulting on its debts.
