Homosexuality Is Not A Choice

In order for the human species to survive we must be able to produce offspring. This is natural....

Homosexuality is not natural because homosexuals cannot produce offspring. However, homosexuality is global and is common.

I have no issue nor am bothered by homosexuality.

Scientists may have determined the cause of homosexuality. I have included a link to the article for those who are interested reading the scientists findings.

I'm not sure how that explains the parents having three (or even two)
offspring and only one being gay...

a reply to: bucsarg They may have found the nature part in nature v. nurture. I am not understanding why it wouldn't be 'natural', genetic traits are natural. This could possibly contribute to the curbing of out of control population?

Animals also show signs of homosexuality, so yes its natural.

So if they have determined the cause for this particular sexual deviancy can they now cure it? What about other sexual deviants? Can other disorders also be rooted in genetics?

Also, if this defect is genetic wouldn't it eventually breed itself into extinction?

You see, as I've stated in other threads recently, it is a dis-order and should be treated as such, just like any other 'Mental' illness!

I have a friend who for many years in her late teens and early twenties was in a lesbian relationship.
3 years ago, she switched teams. She now has a loving husband and a beautiful new baby.
She made a choice.
You can't just label it as this or that.
For some, it is just a choice. Folly perhaps.
For others, maybe not.

It is by definition a sexual deviance in that it differs from the norm. Look it up if you don't believe me. You are so worried about words why not focus on the potential for a cure. This is good news.
