Oh, plenty of things, I'd say. Just to name a few:

  1. he's he first black president ever
  2. he's a father and husband
  3. he's a fine speaker
  4. won the Nobel prize
  5. has won TWO consecutive elections
  6. passed Obamacare
  7. pased the stimulus, which resulted in the private sectorproducing more jobs than it was losing
  8. ended the war in Iraq
  9. invested heavily in renewable technology
  10. killed the F-22!
  11. did NOT have a scandal (no cigar)
  12. reduced defense spending
  13. signed the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act (2009)
  14. reversed torture policies
  15. ended the "don't tell, don't ask" nonsense
  16. passed Wall-Street reform act

It's true. Obama was against gay marriage before he was for it. Biden and Palin actually AGREED on the issue of gay marriage during the 2008 VP debates. I am for gay marriage and most every socially 'liberal' issue, but I have always been against Obama. He's a fake and a fraud.

And I know this isn't a popular opinion, I do not accept that Obama is a natural born citizen. I believe the founders meant to defer to "natural law" on that issue. They didn't leave it up to any legislative body or Court. Obama's presidency took our only right that was not in the hands of government or the Court to decide.

In other words, by deferring to 'natural law,' the founders meant we had to universally agree on a legal definition for a "natural born citizen."

Many people think Obama qualifies with one U.S. Citizen parent, but historically every president has had two U.S. Citizen parents (after the grandfather clause was defunct, that is). Chester Arthur slipped by with no effective legal challenge, but there were disputes, at the time.

I totally believe the debate on a definition has merit -- but not in context of our Constitution. The definition has to be universally agreed on -- that's what 'natural law' is. And the only definition we universally agree on is that a child born to two U.S. citizen parents on UNDISPUTED U.S. soil is born a U.S. citizen -- no written law required to make it so at birth. And there are none written to make it so. We all agree such a child would naturally be born a citizen of the U.S. Everyone agrees. It is the natural law.

I will always stand by this definition even though I consider myself extremely liberal and progressive politically. Now we have Rubio and Cruz trying to skirt wisdom beyond our comprehension that came from people who escaped tyranny to start a new free nation.

Obama ruined our one and only freedom from tyranny. It's a fact.

Obamacare= the "affordable" care act. What a joke. I only make 28k a year, and was paying $123/ month for healthcare now AFTER a subsidy, I'm paying $177 a month for healthcare. I was lied to right in the name of the damn thing.

What? Obama's lover, Larry Sinclair, stated he and Obama had sex for two days and did crack and coc aine purchased by Obama's dealer, in 1999.

In the summer of 2008, Beau Biden signed an arrest warrant for Larry and he was arrested at his press conference outing Obama. Later, all charges were dropped because they turned out to be bogus -- but not after Larry's disability benefits were cut off and he was denied prescription medication while imprisoned.

And within two weeks of Larry's unlawful arrest, Joe Biden was named Obama's running mate.

Larry was a political prisoner whether you believe his story or not and it was the worst political scandal of my lifetime. BY FAR.

Just because the media refused to report it doesn't mean it's not a matter of public record.

The world is experiencing another Hitler Nazi era with the advent of ISIS as each new day another story of barbaric savagery litters the news pages.

Obama has shrunk like a coward in the face of this onslaught from Isis.

This is your real beef with him and anybody who has read your posts know it. Your problem is you are in a minority. I support his decision not to bomb the ME or engage in further idiocracy with them, and most other Americans feel the same way. Sorry. You can buy your own boots and put them on the ground. The rest of us have had enough of fruitless killing.

Do you agree with him lying to the American public?

Not meaning to argue against your point, but could you give some examples of how he could have handled issues in other countries, countries that have their own leaders? It seems to me that now days it has become expected for the POTUS to make decisions for our country and the world also. As for in the US, the racial tension has always been here, a lot of people are just finally taking notice of it. How would you advise for him to fix it? Send out armed troops? or give a hopeful speech and wish for the best?
In other words, what exactly would any other president do to fix these problems?

By pointing to his own success at attaining the most powerful position in the U.S. (and the world) as proof that equal opportunities do exist and it's up to the black community to seize on them. He could point to many friends and colleagues as proof, as well.

Then he could tell us that our time would be better spent shaming parents that abuse and neglect their children (black and white) -- rolling tapes of the shamed parents day and night on MSM news -- instead of plugging the same old tired crap about how mistreated young black criminal men are in the U.S. and the tired line that it's up to everyone else to solve the problems plaguing the black community.

Or maybe he could speak on the plight of women who are sexually assaulted in far greater numbers by men than black people are victimized by white people.

There are many ways he could help try to push the black community forward. Obama chooses to focus on cherry-picked events that support 'racism' and holding the black community back and making them feel worse.

But he doesn't really care about women or children, they don't fit the political narrative. Racism is the only 'ism' that matters anymore thanks to Obama and his heartless partisan supporters.

And this is actually a highly ignorant statement -- not that you are ignorant. I am 44 years old and never in my lifetime have race relations been so absolutely miserable. Back when I was a kid, racism was a settled issue -- it wasn't tolerated. There was a lot of harmony and black people, LIKE OBAMA, took advantage of educational opportunities and friendships that were color-blind and HEALTHY.

The younger generation has decided to roll back time. People my age moved forward long ago. It's devastating to see the damage the younger generation has done to progress -- all for partisan political purposes and nothing more.

He has a decent legacy in place. He will be known as the president who cleaned up Bush's mess in the middle east, ending the Iraq and Afghan wars, and the president who "got" Bin Laden. He will also be known for "reforming" our healthcare system. I mean, most of it is a giant farce, but that's the official story that they'll go with.

Race relations were just as bad, they just didn't get much coverage. Just because the media wasn't reporting on black people being abused doesn't mean it wasn't happening. Information is just much harder to control now, and the truth is rearing its ugly head. Racism has been intertwined in American culture since the inception of our nation.

Oh bleh. He promised ending the wars was his NUMBER ONE priority if he was elected then sat on his hands for years. YEARS.

Sure they were. Believe it or not, racism was reported on. It didn't take a bunch of noob 'democrats' to bring it to light. Progressives my age remember Rodney King, we remember bussing in school -- you are just too young and full of self-admiration to believe someone else noticed it first.

No S H * T. Ya think?

Geez you would think with the lofty opinions that the 20-somethings have of themselves that the civil rights movement never happened. It did. I was born at the end of it and racism was a settled issue and reviled by my generation. Your generation obviously wants to use it for silly partisan purposes.

Or maybe you guys are just way more racist than my generation.

Either way -- young partisans suck. Democrats=Republicans. Learn it now and save yourself 20 years of frustration.

I disagree with most of your premise. First I don't think he's strutting around, that's more a media contrivance with left wing media taking about legacy and right wing media telling us how bad he is. The the game, and we're still being played by both sides of the media. But let's look at "the legacy"

Cold War--not sure he's really to blame. In most cases, and I think you'll agree, any of the republicans that might have been president would have even held a harder line against them. This cold war thing is really russia's doing with the way they are posturing and the Ukraine and the rest.

ISIS- We're doing the right thing with ISIS by giving support to those fighting. We're giving at least logistical support to Jordan and Iraq. Just because ISIS keeps popping up in the news doesn't really mean they're winning or turning into Nazi germany. They're pretty much stuck to where they're at right now. He hasn't cowered to them.

Race-Racial situation is no worse under Obama. In fact hindsight will show us that it's better as people of all minorities will see that it's not just rhetoric but that anyone can become the president of the United states no matter their race.

Economy-Economy has improved dramatically since he took office and continues to improve. He's done well there. If he hadn't I wouldn't be in business.

ObamaCAre has helped millions get insurance and been generally good, but as was mentioned earlier it was also bastardized by congress. Both sides. It's not quite what everyone had in mind. I mean Healthcare reform was one of the things he was elected on and he did hold to that promise.

He's failed on curtailing the NSA< Government Transparency- The Environment--he hasn't gone far enough. Whistleblower immunity, cutting pentagon spending and black budget spending, increased funding for NASA and science. But all of this stuff isn't entirely under his control.

As I've said before, twenty years from now, we'll look back and see him as an above average president but not on par with Eisenhower or Kennedy. Way above Carter and Nixon and Both Bushes and Ford and Reagon...equal with Clinton but without the lag in character.

But that is the opposite message they got. The black community feels more oppressed and less equal than ever despite this glaring PROOF that they are welcome and able to succeed in substantial ways.

Now WOMEN, on the other hand, have been shown that they will be bashed and their families will be bashed if they dare try at attaining such an office. But let's keep focusing on how mistreated black people are.

But message from who? I don't see less hope or anything like that and none of that is Obama's fault if there is. It's our Media again playing us and it's really local government and states that are having the problems. Ferguson can trace those riots right back to a corrupt and inept police department. Inept in that all police departments should know that you can't effectively police a community without community buy in and support. Baltimore...that's been brewing for a while. Local issues. Nationally there is more hope than ever. We just need out media to get behind it.

That’s easy

Put those responsible for the worldwide depression in 2007-8 in jail or at last try to do it

The leader of the free world sets an example

Obama just shows he’s the run of the mill Oligarchic puppet that lives, breathes, and sucks up to the Bankers.

Recall Obama’s famous words to the bankers when he had them over a barrel.

They went to the white house and expected to be harangued

Here’s what Obama said:
Obama To Bank CEOs: "My Administration Is The Only Thing Between You And The Pitchforks"

Obama doesn’t lead he pretends to be for the little guy but is just another lacky of the elite

The message is from the media and politicians. Being a black president is powerful incentive, motivation, and evidence of all that can be attained in this country. Don't underestimate it because it's easy to put the blame on a media that loves to fan the flames of feelings of racial injustice but no other injustice.

Time to start talking about other injustices and put racial injustice in perspective. They are not alone in feeling mistreated.

I was raped at age 15 by a 37 year old man who kidnapped me off a road in a small town late at night after my high school boyfriend left me there alone to walk when his car rolled off an embankment. My 15 year old daughter was kidnapped from a sidewalk in broad daylight by 5 thugs who proceeded to sexually assault her and forced her to give them oral sex in an vacant apartment building when she was staying all night with a friend from school.

When do these incidents matter as much because they are given as much media attention as racism?

Never. it's not politically expedient.

Racism is no more special than any other injustice. Women, children, the disabled, the overweight all face similar adversity as black men running from police. Give us the headlines G*dD*mmmit.

It's so neat when a partisan finds an opportunity to say that another partisan blamed their partisan bulls*t party for being partisan. You're COOL!

Neat-o!
