Islam in The White House means gay marriage? Many Muslims condemn homosexuals, also.

By the way, in Numbers 31:17-18 in the bible Moses told his men to kill men, women, and boy, but to save the virgin "women children" for themselves.

Strange how yahweh/jehovah supports something horrible like that but not gay marriage which is between adults in a committed relationship and consensual. God is Love. Slavery, animal sacrifice, abuse of children, which are things promoted in the old testament, is not.

So I guess if a stealth gay were to enter his store and buy something he would file a lawsuit to get it back as well as file a restraining order for future trespass?

Something like that

According to Knoxville TV station WBIR, it occured to him Monday morning "that homosexual people are not afraid to stand for what they believe in. He said it showed him that Christian people should be brave enough to stand for what they believe in."

the thing is, We don't stand for Discrimination.. is this showing that Christian people should not be afraid to stand for discrimination?

I cannot believe that the US would be so cruel as to make a group of people who have gone through so much endure more hardship.

I was married once.

It sucked.

Um... Ok... I was just asking. Remind not to ever respond to you again if you are just going to flip out on people asking questions about the tone of your posts. It's only very difficult to emote through your speech online and all.

This, from an institution that once "ruled" that black people were not human. This decision falls into that same category of flawed reason and lack of common sense.

This ruling violates the logical argument of non-contradiction. Blatantly. Something cannot "Be"....yet "NOT be". It's basically a pathology. Insane.

The Supreme Court must not have looked at the piles of data that shows how unhealthy the homosexual lifestyle truly is. Being homosexual is very bad for your health. I can produce sources that would make your stomach turn. I'd rather not get into details tho, there's kids who read these forums.

This same institution also ruled against Segregation with Brown v. Board of Education and interracial marriage bans with Loving v. Virginia.

Um... What? This is a weird argument.

Lol. There aren't piles of data showing that the homosexual lifestyle is unhealthy, at least no more unhealthy than a heterosexual lifestyle. That is just nonsense. This ruling is literally a textbook repeat of the Loving v. Virginia ruling. It's called legal precedent. Look it up Holmes.

No, equality wins. Not sure why that sucks for you though.

The Law of Non Contradiction is a basic tenet taught in any freshman level Logic class. Logic 101. This entire discussion is flawed.

The piles of data are there, why don't you go look for it?,.. Because you don't want to know. If I showed you, you'd simply make ad hominum attacks, like you do here, or ignore the facts. People suffering from same sex attraction do this every minute of every day, even to themselves. That's called living a lie. If they opened their eyes, maybe it would reduce their suicide rate. Wanna see that data? Go see it.

I feel nothing but pity for those under this grand delusion.

Even IF there were piles of Data to prove Homosexuality is unhealthy, why is that any reason to be against Gay Marriage?

Smoking is unhealthy, but that's not illegal.

Drinking is unhealthy (in excess), but that's not illegal.

Driving is INCREDIBLY unhealthy. That's not illegal.

So why care? Moreover, what effect does this ruling have on YOU, personally?

I think suicide rates will go down now that it is getting more accepted.
You can bet the reasons for suicide are because bigoted idiots give them so much # when growing up.
Do you give gay people #? posts like that If continually read would drive many gay folk to suicide.
Well done

This isn't an example of that case. I literally just showed you two cases of established legal precedent for this ruling. You can't just pretend they don't exist.

You brought it up, you provide the evidence. That's how it works. Worry about my response to the data AFTER you've provided it.

People don't suffer from same-sex attraction. Though heterosexuals LOVE making them suffer for it.

Also homosexuality suicided rates are likely high because of heterosexual bigots always telling them things like they are suffering or are unnatural or other hateful things.

And that applies here, how? What are you suggesting both exists and doesn't exist at the same time?

Being homosexual is very bad for your health. I can produce sources that would make your stomach turn.

Oh, you can, huh? You're just not going to. What you've stated here is false. BEING homosexual is no different that BEING heterosexual. Besides, would you support the government or the Supreme Court outlawing sugar, carbonated drinks, fatty foods, cigarettes, cigars, alcohol, skiing, automobiles, childbirth, etc... ??

Silly!

Yep. EVERYONE should practice safe sex, because that gets rid of about 100% of sexually transmitted diseases. Simple solution. But sugar - there is no safe way to ingest lots of sugar - so NO MORE SUGAR FOR ANYONE! We know best...

I was aware of just about all of those issues. Most of them could be solved by extending LGBT as a protected class of people. Though I'm not sure I agree with #8.

8) LGBT sex workers have no legal protections and remain subject to criminalization.

It's not like heterosexual workers have legal protections either and aren't subject to criminalization. Prostitution is illegal in just about all of the United States, and places where it is legal (like Las Vegas) have deplorable working rights for the prostitute industry.

So I'd say that isn't a LGBT issue, but more an issue affecting everyone equally regardless of sexuality.
