SkunkWork is for "highly speculative theories". Whereas HOAX is for bogus claims, such as claim of time travel that ends up being a fiction video.

Why on earth did you include me? You may have noticed (or not) that I'd posted that her hyphenated name was the Slingo-Hutt - she's obviously Rob Hutt's wife. They were playing it like Rob Hutt was a documentary filmmaker, and she was a random person he'd found on the interwebs. Very much a set up.
Other inclusion in the thread was noting the time zone of England.

And you "know" the "requirements" of time travel? Do tell...

Hoaxes are for intentionally fake stories, whether or not the original ATS poster is the perpetrator of the hoax or not. In fact, mots items in ATS's hoax bin were NOT hoaxed by the person who originally posted the story to ATS.

Automatically and blindly debunking it just because it sounds outlandish is not the way proper critical thinking works.

If people are to debunk thins, they need to give sound reasons to do so (and yeah -- it is probably too outlandish to be true, and while that may be a reason to mostly dismiss it, that's not a good enough reason to completely dismiss it).

My first reason why I say it's bunk is the camera counter. The video kept changing scenes and angles, but the camera counter never changed. the fake static and fake visual "noise" is also a dead giveaway that the video has been "produced", not organically shot.

I have plenty of other problems with that video, but that was the first thing I noticed.
