Obama doesn't eat babies but had to kiss thousands to get to be POTUS.

a White House official speaking on condition of anonymity told The Washington Post today. Effective July 1st, the laws governing the United States, including the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and, additionally, the Geneva Conventions, will no longer apply to Texas or its residents.

Anonymously, aren't most of our rights anywhere USA already stripped when and as they please?

They don't need to pass a bill to do that, they just show up and do it. Remember the Boston man hunt? Lets hear it residents of any lately-local-lockdown… how were your rights violated the night the Feds came to town?

If FEMA is stepping in to assist with flood relief, there is debt. Jade Helm 15 will likely cause debt.

I don't know about you but every April I'm very aware at how much I am not in debt to the federal government. If fema should help for a disaster I am involved in I am not in debt as other than enjoying wonderful roads I do not ask for government programs. If you think states should be souly responsible for disaster relief than I think a restructuring of taxes is in order.

Texas has been threatening to secede for years. Be careful what you wish for...you just might get it!!!

As a native Texan does this mean I'll have dual citizenship?

Well....Texas, i.e., the Gubmint of Texas hasn't threatened to secede. A handful of activists have been advocating secession for a few years now and no one pays them any attention. Its never going to happen; they haven't even put it on a ballot issue.

Dual citizenship? I doubt it.

I know...

We have an expression in Texas and it applies here...."All hat, no cattle"

There have been several of us that have said this was not true.........

So I would think weve done a pretty good job.........

But I guess while claiming that ignorance is not being denied in the thread, people tend to not read any of the thread replies at all and jump DIRECTLY to assumption......

Seems......ignorant.......

But what if it WERE true? Conceding that there is a 99.99999999999x infinity % chance it is true, open up dialog about what it would mean for Texas, it's citizens, and other border states.

And you missed all of us who dislike Obama and have also recommended it for HOAX? Even the OP?

Gosh, I dislike all conservatives/libertarians who dislike Obama sooo much I desperately want to believe that they really think this is true ...

No, the OP said it might be a hoax then preceded to give reasons why it might not be. Not the same as saying its a hoax. As to you and others who said its a hoax. Bravo, I agree with you and respect your opinions.

I desperately do not want to believe conservatives/libertarians think this is true. I desperately want to believe the opposite. As I am firmly in the middle politically. I like to read the well thought out arguments of both conservatives and liberals.

I do not like Obama either. But I am not going to go around and believe, then post, every bad thing said about him, just to confirm my bias against him. Doing so weakens an argument. It does not strengthen it.

What I think matters squat. It's what happens when FEMA renders aid to a state in disaster. Your debt is via taxes paid in your state.

Saying it may be a Hoax is saying I think it is. Giving reasons for not putting the thread in the HOAX forum is providing thought and consideration to the tiniest possibility of being true. If I thought it were true, all my replies would have so indicated.

It makes for provocative thought.

LOL victim? How was I a victim i called it as not true.....

Whats it like skipping the whole thread just to try and make yourself look smarter then everyone else, despite the fact that over half the people posting on the thread actually said it wasnt true?

That it does and I will be the first to admit that my first post in the thread was tongue in cheek. Its just frustration after having to listen to eight years of fringe liberal lunacy during the Bush presidency and now eight years of fringe conservative lunacy during the Obama presidency. And yet the world keeps turning. No one is in FEMA camps....yet.

No, but the manual for transferring citizens to those internment camps has been issued and easily found.

Why are these political hoaxes ALWAYS something about Obama? For the last 7 years, lie after lie after lie with so many people wanting so desperately believe it. I'll be glad to see him go. But then if the democrat wins it will be the same thing over again and if the republican wins it will be, "How dare you question the president?"

Check please!

Well seeing as they are already one of the most self reliant states, If they got booted than instead of most of the taxes each citizen pays going to America it would be reappropriated to an already stable government and they would be just fine. That being said it won't happen, money doesn't talk it dictates.

I get where you are coming from. I do. But its like the boy who cried wolf. All the recent presidents are supposed to be the ones that finally do it. None of them have. I guess we can pray it'll be the next one.

Jeb Bush will win and there will be hoaxes aiming at him. Name a President that evaded those types of potshots.
