Racism Exists.
In all races, in all religions, in all countries.
The media makes these issues out to be far worse than they are. What if we didn't give Mr. Roof the satisfaction of calling it a hate crime, but a crime. Murder, just as it is. What if we stop labeling people by their race and religion and just started saying, that man or this man killed someone. It wouldn't be easy, and it would be near impossible for the simple fact that too many people watch the news. There will always be bad, and evil, but when you label these actions then you get a myriad of races and religions wanting to take sides.
Just like everything else wrong with the world right now... The MSM makes it an issue.

I just want to know if evil is necessary or if you can raise all children to grow up to have compassion and empathy for all humans?
Yeah I know a perfect world would be impossible. But if you take a child, without media bombarding them, without family members drilling hate into their lives, would they still just wake up one day with the idea to kill people?
I do think head injuries can cause people to lose it and do crazy things as well, but if a child was loved and taught only to love the world would be a better place.

With the likes of the Colbert report show turning into an all out racial show things will just get worse. Trevor noah is a funny guy but full fledged racism I do not think is the answer. I hope trevor does not follow wilmore. Colbert and stewert had a gift of pushing the mental envelope but going all in is not the answer.

Can you give some detail about what changes you are wanting to see and what impact they will have.

Just one very important question.
In ferguson, in baltimore, south carolina...... wherever it is...
If there was a man or woman, preaching love like Dr. Martin Luther King, would it get news coverage? Would it be known to those of us that aren't there? If there was someone to stand up against hate... how would we even know it. How would the word spread to the nation?

The lead subject header on CNN.com is "Victim's daughter: 'I forgive you'" and the article goes on to say "And have mercy on your soul. You hurt me. You hurt a lot of people but God forgives you, and I forgive you.""

So to me that is just one example of the MSM reporting about the type of thing you are speaking about.

We should not be defined by how a few depraved individuals act.

We should be defined by how we respond when a few depraved individuals act.

looking at how the community has conducted themselves, the showing of love and forgiveness, they must be doing something right,

Why is Jon Stewart so sad about this but not about how our government arming/funding ISIS or all the millions our government has made suffer in the middle east. What happen was tragic but lots of other places around the world see worse stuff happen.

I watched the families speak during the hearing for the #stain racist shooter.

I was ashamed of myself. They spoke with such dignity and forgiveness and nobility.

They behaved, spoke, acted a millions times better than I would have.

The Moment an MSNBC Anchor Broke Down On-Air

www.theblaze.com...

This is love, this is what true Christianity is all about.

Can we look over here right now. It’s kind of heartbreaking,” Roberts said, his voice cracking. “They’re singing and a whole flood of people showed up at the same time.”

“So you’re hearing from the family, and then this whole group of people showed up. And they’re singing a gospel song. … I apologize,” he said, stopping himself and trying to fight back tears. He’s referring to several family members forgiving Roof during his bond hearing.

“But you can see the outpouring of support for his community. It goes all the way down the street of people who showed up at the exact same time that this arraignment was going on,” he continued, amazed.

Look, we know sometimes the media shows up to get the protest and violence, for ratings, but people are tired of the hate, sorry media so far nothing but love.

It really struck him in his spirit. It is amazing to be in the presence of the holy spirit.

I cried through the whole thing, I cried for him too, I know that's not considered acceptable, but it was overwhelming.

Was he refusing arrest? That picture isn't even from when he was actually arrested.

Why use actual facts though when making things up is so much more fun.

If the motive is what it is thought to be, why wouldn't it be?

Seems that would be for ideological reasons, very much a cultural belief this guy held about how they were effecting our country.

I bet if the guys skin was darker we wouldn't be hearing people holding off on calling it a terrorist attack.

In my book, anybody who premeditatively shoots and kills nine people in cold blood is nothing more than a psychopath, plain and simple.

Hang him, and let's get on with life.

Do you know what terrorist organization he was with? Honest question. I didn't see it in the article I had read earlier but I noted some patches on his coat in a picture.

Wouldn't it be easier to put all the blame on an extinct race, so that the stupid have something to hate and that we can all laugh at them behind their backs.

Those damn pre-hominids! Look at how they totally @#$%^ everything up for us!

We wouldn't be like this if they hadn't made us like this!
