I think you left a word out. Your quote should read:

"You don't need guns, the police and military have enough (ammo) for everyone."

What makes a semi-automatic AR-15 more dangerous than a semi-automatic hunting rifle?

Oh oh oh. I'd like to buzz in. "What is 'nothing'?

Guns = Life, protection, freedom People who want to do away with 2A = Subjects of the State, not citizens of THEIR country.

Plain for all to see, except weak frightened "yes men/women" who do everything they are told to do by the State without question and especially without power.

The rest of the world (yes there is a world outside the US) is doing just fine without a second amendment.

But......

If you think you need one because your government and politicians are tyrants, then why do you keep voting for them?

So you are saying that those black people who were gunned down by a white power crazed freak were weak yes men who deserved what they got?

Really?

Are you ashamed? Are you a racist?

You sound like one.

You missed the point, of course. No. I said doing away with the Second Amendment right weakens the power of the citizens of a country and turns them into subjects of the State rather than citizens of THEIR own country.

The events yesterday were tragic and all of America is grieving. But, it does not justify removing our 2A. As I have said numerous times, 99.99999% of gun-owning law biding citizens (not subjects) went about their day never even thinking about perpetrating a heinous act.

Don't kmow why my post didn't post originally but...

There are plenty of countries around the world that don't have a second amendment that are perfectly happy and much more peaceful than America.

If you truly fear that your government or politicians are going to enslave you, then why do you keep voting for them?

And the Swiss and the Czechs have gun laws similar to ours but are much more peaceful and safe than the UK and the country with the strictest gun laws in the western hemisphere, Mexico, is one of the most violent in the world.

No offense, but you are a shallow thinker (on this subject, anyway).

The day you can flip a switch and eliminate violent evil criminals, rapists, murderers, machete-weilding beheaders, and any other manner of scum and replace it with a utopia of butterflies and unicorns, the thought of putting our hands up in surrender might...might...be entertained.

Until then, common sense tells me that in a country of 350,000,000 people of all kinds of races, cultures, ideologies, classes, and power-hungry potential despots, not to mention an open border that is letting in who-knows-what, I will endure some pain to hold onto my Second Amendment Right....one that is definitely "needed" regardless of what you think we need or don't need in our own country.

Also, I have no problem with gun manufacturers making butt loads of $$$$. It's a good business to own stock in.

Why are you so invested in this topic? It can't be about the number of deaths else you'd be zealously advocating for peace in the midle east or to feed the starving. It almost appears a classic case of little man syndrome.

Tony Blair is apparently advocating for peace in the Middle East and he's about as bad as it gets.

What I'm doing, like it or not, is trying to drum some sense through your thick skulls so that no more children, parents, grandparents, sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, uncles, aunties, brothers, sisters, etc have to die needlessly to protect "rights" that you don't need.

The only rights that are being protected are those of the shareholders and owners of gun companies to make money at the expense of the lives of real people just like you.

The world doesn't need it, you don't need it, you're just so wrapped up in it you can't see it.

there are plenty of countries around the world - the majority in fact, that don't allow people to buy guns, and they haven't been taken over by heavily armed crazed governments, homicidal fruit loops, or anarchists intent on destruction.

Or anyone else for that matter.

You don't need guns, the police and military have enough for everyone.

Well by God, insulting gun owners every time you open your yap is certainly going to convince them you're right!

Sweet baby Jesus, somebody on the internet just called me a name because I have a gun! I have seen the error of my ways!

I fail to understand if he is so worried about "these people" "raping his women and country".. shouldn't he be in a gangster hangout...? why would he be in a church where the people are the opposite of the gangster mindset.

Nothing but a spineless racist coward.

edit: Just like some people that are secretly supporting him here.

Because he was a coward. That is what is so horrible about this. Instead of targeting the dregs he targeted good people

He has a smug look, almost smiling in the pics that have been shown since his arrest.

I just can't stop thinking about and praying for the families and the city of Charleston for the upcoming funerals and aftermath.

Who would that be and for what purpose? It's not to grab guns...that's just not gonna happen!

Purpose? To start an all out race war, if you are a proponent of the NWO agenda. But realistically this kid had mental problems mired in deep-rooted racial bigotry, obviously.

"There are two ways in which people claim that this would serve the purposes of the global elite and their attempt to create a ‘new world order’. The first is the classic British Imperial strategy of ‘divide and conquer’ – the more people are divided against each other the less likely it is that they will unite to rise up against those in power. This does not require any significant level of violence (actual race war), it just needs ordinary people to see each other as the problem, rather than seeing those in power as the problem. The second is that a fully fledged race war would provide the best possible excuse to increase government power and intrusion into our lives."

Well, if taking guns will solve the problem in the US, they might as well grab all the knives and swords from the Saudis and ISIS. Those things are needlessly killing innocents too.

I dont even know what there is to debate. Please show me a link to last weeks mass shooting in the UK, and the one the week before that, and the week before that.

because i can do that with the US. But i understand that your country is biogger so, lets take it per month rather than per week...

Im waiting.

True. As I've said before, people conveniently overlook the fact that there are 5,000-6,000 yearly homicides in the United States, about a third of the total, that don't even involve a firearm. The idea that a gun ban, which is in the realm of fantasy land anyway, for legal and practical purposes, would solve all our problems just isn't anything close to reality.

You have 64 million people, 87% of whom are white. That's not a lot of conflicted agendas and ideologies, and a pretty homogenous society. Apples and oranges have never worked as comparisons.

I could dump a cargo plane load of AR-15s and handguns into the UK and you probably still wouldn't see that type of thing. The cultural views on firearms and the types of criminal behavior differ significantly. I don't think the two situations are comparable.

A more apt comparison would be Canada, which maintains a low homicide rate even though they're more culturally similar to the US, are fairly lenient in terms of gun laws, and have a significant number of gun owners and some 10 million privately held firearms.

Folks, based on this incident, if you are against something you are the enemy of the state. They are calling him a terrorist on many of the MSM stations. They highlight white vs black. This is the first step into stopping those who are against the policies of the current administration.

While the MSM promoted this the TPA was also passed in the house, fast tracked, and I am sure many of you do not even know it was or what is is. It is a set up to allow the TPP to pass and if you do not know what that is either, well, keep reading about Ms. Jenner till they knock on your door and put you on a bus because they linked your IP to a website that is considered 'against US policies'. It is also trying to pass the TAA to help those who I can only suppose will lose jobs when it is passed.

The White House is eager to enact TPA because it provides an expedited process to get trade bills through Congress, allowing them only to be approved or rejected, not amended. Obama has made trade a significant focus of his foreign policy legacy in his final months in office.

This was a horrible incident but there are mass killings almost everyday. Not all with guns either. There are 4-6 'family members' killed across the country in domestic disputes each day but if there is nothing to gain in the MSM they are not shown. The exact time of Obamas speech is when the TPA was passed. I mean, i could not write a movie better than this....

LMAO!!!!

RACE WAR?!?! What is this the 1900's lmao lmao lmao!!!

We are all so mixed in America that is just hilarious!!! Literally the funniest thing I have heard in a week.... Thank you.

You get your news from Christian conspiracy sites so I guess it's no suprise your brainwashed, but come on... Exactly who's side will all the mixed race people be on? What about all the inter racial couple? Asians? Hispanics? Lmao again!

There are 2 things both political leanings hint at that neither want to do, because it would be a disaster.

1: end food stamps/ welfare= you would have riots in a week. Not race riots the vast majority of welfare recipients are white.

2: come into houses and take all the guns- exact same riots.

It's all just propaganda to play to the worst of each base.

Is this thread about guns or is about what a kid did to 9 people that were minding their business in a church?

If we say we can't use events like this to talk about gun control then it works the same for advocating for less gun control.

I think it's about what a grown man did to people in a church.

I haven't seen anything about a kid doing anything to people in a church.

Not a kid, an adult man. Let's make sure its understood that a 21 year old male is NOT a kid. They can vote and drink alcohol, and die while serving in the military. That is hardly being a kid!!
