I never followed the Kennedy assassination that deeply. In Bruce Roberts letters he names multiple shooters and the identities of the three tramps. I was hoping someone with more information about the assassination would show up and review his statements .

I'm not expert, but the summary in your link jives with a lot of things I've read regarding Sturgis and the team of Castro assassins being used. That could just mean that this document is the source of that story though.

It could easily be a plot to a pseudo-historic thriller the guy was putting together, but it also puts a lot of pieces into place I hadn't considered before.

That's what amazes me about the file. It reads like the bizarre ramblings of someone with psychosis . I originally looked into it in the 70s like I said in the OP. But as I've begun rereading it it amazes me the names that were in there ( it was published in 1975 ) and the levels of power they achieved up untill recently and the only reason most quit achieving power is because they got old and died .

Those names when I read them in the 70s meant nothing to me but most of them are household words now .

LIke I said in the edit of my last post though, it may just indicate that these documents are the source of that particular version of events. It may be akin to the Ancient Aliens mythos, 70 years from now, being "corroborated" by someone stumbling across a forgotten copy of Chariot of the Gods.

Some food for thought:
If this is all true, and the mafia had heavy involvement in JFK's presidency and assassination, then obviously this was a major coup for them. What did it accomplish? What has Onassis or the related mafia done in the new vacuum of power? Have they written themselves out of history, accomplishing things from the shadows? Why does the trail go cold at Kennedy and Nixon? How can the author of Gemstone have had such detailed knowledge of all the things leading UP TO JFK's death and Nixon's resignation, but nothing since?

The mafia may be an organization of criminals, but they play the long game.

The aforementioned criminals are from a previous generation. We now have Bush, Sarkozy, Blair, Kirchner, Soros, Merkel, Putin, et al.

These guys built Vegas and infiltrated the highest level of government; even Joe Valachis evidence did not stop them. It was the drug trade that brought most of them down.

I agree, but I thought the vast majority of people already took that for granted .

after reading these posts, and living through the Kennedy and Nixon era, today there are much more powerful people in play. Chinese multibillionaires, middle east multibillionaires, Russian multibillionaires...each of those has a vastly different cultural brand, with untraceable and undetectable billions in assets spread throughout the world. among those three sets of powerful groups, most would not give a damn about the "power" of western mafia types.

Sorry to get here so late. I have some knowledge of the gemstone files because I met Jim Moore who, as an MIT student in the 50's, built our first spy satellite. He was an expert in electromagnetic fields and my office hired him to do some investigation concerning a suspected energy field that scientist were trying to determine its health affect on the nearby people. It might have something to do with the fact that it was released in 1975 and he was dead in 1976 . By a rather fast acting cancer which is also mentioned in the gemstone file as a means of assassination .

Good lord, really makes me wonder what's going on in America to-day, with opec and the Chinese being added to the mix, report I read earlier stated opec had agreed to keep production up, what is the sense in that wioth gas prices being so low?
