Chalk it up to anopther ridiculous UFO story that is making you belivers look like idiots.

This story has no bearing on how believers are perceived , it's just another unsubstantiated claim that has nothing to do with real Ufology , the longer we go without the claimed video the closer we get to finding the real idiot.

Just to give you an idea of what the OP considers to be evidence, here's a quote of theirs from another thread -

"After death we have a spirit. I was able to prove this with my astral travel experiences."

Also, their ability to closely examine stars using a 'very powerful zoom' on a camcorder implies a somewhat out-of-focus image. But hey, I'm open minded!

The fact that every single day on this forum and others people like the OP post stupid videos and try to convince us they are ufos is what is harming the UFO believers. Not a single believer has ever , EVER offered any good evidence whatsoever. in how long? 100 years?

All we have is the usual sh*t. And this is why normal people mock UFO believers. Because we perceive them all to be like the OP.

The problem I have is the OP has posted no video even after stating the video is on his HD , if the video exists the chances are he's filmed something mundane like a lantern but even so if he doesn't know what it is it is an Unidentified Flying Object.

Absence of evidence may not be evidence of absence , if they did visit but are no longer here or if they have some form of cloaking tech then why should we expect to see video evidence , Ufology is about more than youtube videos.

And this is why normal people mock UFO believers. Because we perceive them all to be like the OP.

"Normal" people do believe in aliens and UFOs , those who mock UFO believers do so in ignorance of the history of the subject , sure there's no solid evidence in the public domain but that doesn't mean the evidence doesn't exist.

People mocked Copernicus for his beliefs about our place in the Universe but as it turned out he was right.

Yes, but there was evidence about what copernicus was talking about for all to see if they so wished. All the UFO belivers have are blurry videos of chinese lanterns, Sirius, satellites etc...

They invite mocking by posting ridiculous "proof" videos. And they deserve to be mocked. If they used their eyes and their brains for 5 mins they could probably figure out what they are seeing is...but they dont. They would rather pretend its aliens as that is more exciting right?

And yes, absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. Of course. And im not denying its possible that aliens are here or have been here....but since there is not a single shred of decent evidence, if you guys want us to belive then you have to show us something. Anything worth looking at. Please?

I dont need to see the Op's video to know its going to be sh*t. Like 99.9% of them in this forum and on the internet.

Copernicus was a genius, something that cannot be said of most UFO believers. And im just going to say it, i personally dont belive that most rational, intelliogent people belive in UFOs. Alien life in the universe, sure. I believe in that. But they are not visiting us.

From Me originally."Do You have a pic of the star You mentioned,
along with the video to post,
so We can do some comparisons?!"

So I asked you to post them. Not just to tell me you had them... Post the proof. Or this belongs in The Grey Area Forum...

I have to agree with others, here, Zeus:

WHY are you not posting the video itself? Seems like a waste of lot of energy and time for everyone to comment on a red, star-like image you took a video of, without actually posting the video!

Until you do so, we can offer little more than:, "ok, you saw what you saw... -we don't see anything"

Good luck.

Yes I second this,

The longer it goes un-posted after you say you will the more one leads to thinking its just another one of those threads aye, Oh well let them have their fantasy, its a shame people have to play such silly games like that over the net.

Does it sound anything like the sighting described by Kandinsky in a different — and very interesting — thread?

I was with friends on a beach where we, and another group of strangers, saw a red light zig-zag across the night sky in around four seconds – possibly ~12 observers in total. It couldn’t have been a meteor or errant part of a rocket launch; neither did it appear to be a ‘spaceship’ or of ‘alien’ origin. It was just that, a zig-zagging light that doesn’t attract an easy explanation. For someone like me, if it hadn’t been for the others there, I’d discard the experience as imagination/misperception. Was it intelligent, one of 'ours,' a group hallucination or something else altogether?

Hey everyone. A few days ago, I filmed a red UFO at night that was moving at a high speed (Higher than that of a plane/helicopter). The object wasn't far away from where I was. And the object when I zoomed it in, it looked exactly just like a type of star which I have also seen with my camcorder (Which has a powerful zoom). How is this possible?

Whether you are filming an aircraft light or a star, so far as your camera is concerned it is simply a point of light, so they both appear the same. You camera sees only the light, not the detail around it.

I think i just saw your UFO

Big dam red pulse (bright enough to get my full attention) and a few whites behind.
It was a way's off, flying out near Sydney. just had a jumbo fly over on it's regular path just before it, the difference in illumination is huge. it surely caught my eye. and pure chance too i was just letting the dog out.

Estimate whatever commercial craft that flew over me (regular path) would have seen it on it's left (and below) on approach to Sydney. Time was roughly 6am... it's kinda freezing, so there wont be many out nor gazing at the sky.

I think it's terrestrial, some new form of LED testing for Aviation?.. man.. it's bright, if you see it.. you won't mistake it. It's duration/ configuration is new too. more of a constant pulse that on/off.

It was low too, not high up.. moving at a pace, could have been a heli. probably landed at Camden Airport or Richmond Airbase (if it's mill).

I've seen countless civilian aircraft in the many years i've lived here... nothing, and i repeat nothing has taken my ire like this did.

If the OP saw what i just did... then you can forgive the OP for getting exited, and stop the debunks.. maybe one of you will actually fill us in on what it actually is instead of feeding us herrings and beatdowns?

Or is that far too much to ask?

Maybe if the OP posted the video we could do that but without it what do you expect ?
Surely if you post a thread about the UFO you saw and filmed its a good idea to post the evidence for others to comment on.

We ALL know how that ends up Gortex.
Right now you'd have to be a newbie or utterly insane to post a few points of light on a black sky.
And expect anything other than the usual BS shootdowns.

As i said, and it's no lie, I just saw something extremely similar to what the OP described, and i haven't ever seen anything that bright before. I used to deal with Lighting on a professional level.. i know my lumen's this was something new. Like the 1st time any of us saw the (now standard) LED lights on cars.. that kind of "what the F is that" moment.

So it's obviously new tech, and those that know EXACTLY what it is are playing dumb and letting anyone that see's it get torn apart by the same old crew... sorry.. that's just wrong.

Hey everyone. Sorry for not having answered any of the comments, as I have been busy with work and today I woke up kinda sick.
I always make sure before I upload my videos to youtube and showing them to the world that they are as I want them to be.
I made a mistake of creating this thread before having posted the video to youtube, as I was simply wondering how an UFO could look exactly like a star. I will post the video I filmed, mark my word. For whoever said that I filmed a lantern, thats's incorrect and you will see it once I upload it to youtube. I will possibly post the video today and link you guys to my channel and video.

I've seen many times these UFO's try to mask themselves as stars. Occasionally they also start to move, blinking like planes get to a certain spot then stop blinking, return to a solid light and sit.

And you usually get terrible videos with the phone cameras, you almost never get the same turnout from what you were actually witnessing, they never show when I try to film with my Galaxy.

Well we can't give you any advice or opinions without the video. Lesson to be learned here, don't create a preemptive thread without all your ducks in a row.
