Ok people NASA is supporting a WORLD insignia to replace national flags.

The flower of life is supposed to be an encapsulated dodecahedron. A dodecahedron is suggested to be the geometric building block of all matter on a quantum/sub atomic scale.

I'll see if I can find the picture but I remember seeing a crop circle that looked like an unfinished dodecahedron, maybe there's more, but since you mentioned it I thought I'd add.

I agree with that, the aliens might look just like us, and might just be universal. You could say this is window dressing, the Earth's reps all working together, in fact it's becoming more like that anyway, for the time being that is.

Your Earth is centered on USA, and the red/white lines are too reminiscent of USA. As a Canadian I would find this flag a bit hard to accept.

Sacred geometry, in my understanding, uses a linguistic approach to translate ideas, and I agree - those symbols are comparable. Except the image flag... that's not symbolic at all; and if it were, it would be so only to us...

But frankly, why leave a "flag" at all? Are we "claiming it?"

Good point. The answer is, mankind has always sought to mark its achievements with some sort of symbol. May it be signing a painting or placing the American flag on the Moon, humans like to place a mark on their deeds, even if no one ever sees the mark ever again. The point is, the mark survives wether it is observed or not, and with its mere existence, it carries the glory of the achiement on a path towards eternity.

Personally I am tired of all the world's strips on flags maybe a solar system would be good, does anyone know if this design selection was by contest or was it selected for all by some person?
