As if they're not citizens and just as American as you? Or do you think some Americans are not equal to others?

Apparently you think Muslims are superior citizens and we should not practice our first amendment rights in front of them if we choose to?

Just food for thought do you have a selective memory or do you remember the mosque at 911 Ground Zero? After all that was their first amendment right people protested for.

Hopefully no one gets hurt, bar the feelings of the instigators who are willing some sort of destruction.

They'll likely be offered into the Mosque for a drink and some food or a debate...
That'd be great.

Do you consider Christians sponsors of pedophilia? I don't, nor do I consider Muslims as sponsors of extremism. Are all members of the Church the Duggars went to pedophiles? I don't think so.

If the members of the mosque was smart, they'll have bottled water for the protestors.

Talk about taking the wind out of their sails.

Again you are putting words in my mouth.

I pointed out the fact that it was where the two jihadist came from. I never said I approved of anything. Except the right for the bikers to exercise the First Amendment.

I said nothing about this action though I think it's hateful, I wouldn't call for it to be stopped by law enforcement or any such.

Muslims are equal to me in humanity and American Muslims are equal to me as Americans. My response was to another American calling for encouraging hate. Problem?

Hey maybe you should read OP. I said I don't agree with the location. I would prefer they set up on a mountain burned Koran, drew pictures of Mohammed and watch pornography while getting drunk to dare them to come.

The results would be the same. Terrorist have proven themselves to be cowards, they are not going to attack armed targets.

Don't get this demonstration wrong. It is only to prove a point nothing will happen because it is not a terrorist M.O to attack a armmed group.

This is "merika!!;" goddamnit, I think it is both bad form and idiotic.

But I would serve again and die protect their right to protest stupid bs in the manner they think appropriate.

"merika!!!"

I wouldn't be surprised if some of them did.

However, it would also not be unacceptable to predict bloodshed either.
I hope not.

Peaceful assembly, peaceful reaction...
Everyone goes home and learns something.

No you're only problem in this entire thread. Is that you actually have no concept of what the First Amendment means.

You only approve of the First Amendment when it fits your ideology. Do you ever watch Al Jazeera? Have you ever seen screaming protesters outside of the US Embassy? Have you ever seen screaming protesters in Ferguson or Baltimore? Or do you believe they should all be silenced also?

But tell me oh wise one what the difference is? Please enlighten me?

Having read the article this can be stated:

This is a bad idea, more importantly, this is a very bad idea, and one that is going to get a reaction that will not go well.
While yes we do have the freedom of speech, of that there can be no doubt, but like the WBC time, place and should it happen is coming into question. And ultimately this is going to hit hard in the long run against the majority of the people of the country. Why provoke innocent people? The rest of the Muslim community who worship at that mosque, have done nothing against those people are not under investigation, as far as we know, are innocent. Only 2 people from Phoenix, caused the problems cause they were apparently radicalized.
Now these people are wanting to make a statement, and exercise their freedom of speech, yet fail to see the damage that they are going to cause. And could anyone see what is going to go wrong here? There are those who are on the fence, when it comes to the radicalization of their faith, and those who are more moderate who would not consider this, and something like this is going to push them more into the other camp. And what if it draws out more radical Isamist, then what? How many people will die if they do this, or is their attempt to try to see if they can provoke another attack on US soil?

While they have the right, but like many they are choosing to exercise it in the worst possible way and in the worst possible place. And like a bad self fulfilling prophecy, this is going to hit back hard. We can only hope that common sense and cooler heads will reason out that they move this and nothing happens, but something tells me that it may go just as badly as it did in Texas, and only give the Islamic world more fuel to use against the USA.

No, I understand how the world works, I've had many Muslim friends and have prayed in a mosque. I've met European, Arab, South Asian, and African, African American, and White American Muslims. I attempt to follow a Sufi path brought over from India that has for the last millennium mixed Buddhist, Hindu, and Islamic practices. There isn't one Islam, there are many Islams. And I'm against the ignorance of those that don't know how the world works to realize that Muslims come in all shapes, sizes, races, and colors and dispositions. You an I can hate ISIS and radicals all we want, but then harassing and stereotyping 1.6 billion Muslims across the globe (which humanity by definition has to include the whole globe), is short sighted. To allow it is saying freedom of speech is protected regardless if it is in good taste, just like we allow KKK to have their walks, while not agreeing or supporting it. To support it however, is to support the ignorant extreme bi-polar thinking that marginalizes the whole world into two simple categories disallowing the opportunity for people to grow intellectually by realizing all the different types of people and views that exist in all communities. For instance reading Muslims like Ziauddin Sardar, Bobby S. Seyyid, Bassam Tibi, and Seyyid Nasr allows the individual to realize much more is going on than our myopic media view. It's to be ignorant of Progressive Muslim discourses and histories, Sufis standing up to Iran...

So I know how the World works, and it saddens me that people can hate 1.6 billion people without ever knowing anything about them except for ISIS and radicals, a fricken 1400 year old culture(s) with a rich history of viewpoints from Asia to Africa but people pretend its all one culture. You have no evidence anyone at that mosque is planning a bombing. If you do have some intel then by all means don't tell me or us, tell Homeland Security and the FBI immediately, definitely don't leave it up to some bikers led by an ignorant half wit... Just last week there was a huge biker shoot out and you're leaving the mitigation of our society up to them!?! Hate begets hate.. So go ahead and keep looking at everything in black and white.

Respect.

It doesn't mean you have to like or endorse or even approve.

But if you show respect (even in the face of disrespect) therein lies true nobility.

Oh, you are absolutely correct.

But what of the Muslims, don't they have the right to worship peacefully without having to worry about a bunch of pinheads harassing them? ...and that's what this is, harassment...plain and simple.

As compared to Isis MO....ya this is a tea party....just saying

I am out. You cannot debate idiots.

I'm glad because if you were sticking around I was leaving??????? Lmao

(settle down it was a joke)

I was out until you replied to me, it would appear I was wrong since I am debating you. Settle down, even though that was not a joke, no intention of insult, just stating truth.

You also get an F for originality. But it is a great compliment when somebody parrots your jokes so thank you.

cant be a good thread without an NWO or Illuminati reference !

Not really has anything to do with NWO or The Illuminati, more just another element of the chaos of present day society.

Just this weekend dirt bike gangs took over a the O'neill Tunnel in Boston which seems to be a growing problem in many cities.

Perhaps you were thinking about the name of the card collection?
