Good people don't resort to torture, no matter what.

We didn't even torture the nazis, and because of that, many of them willingly turned themselves in to the American forces--because Stalin's army was torturing POW's.

There is no rational, moral argument for torture. Period. You are doing nothing but lowering yourself to the level of the terrorists you are fighting. Only the absolutely purest of evil would torture any living being.

Torture is not about intelligence gathering, it is about sport. Those who imbibe are excited by it and would do it though their victims wrote volumes of facts beforehand. I have known a few and they are either the spawn of the Nephilim, they think they are the spawn of the Nephilim, or they pretend to be. There is a little yellow flame in the inside back of their eyeballs that gives this away as they tell their tales. It is unnerving to see for those that are not prepared for it.

War is a horrible thing. It should never have to happen. But when you have to go to war, the rules should be thrown away. Do whatever you have to do to win and worry about cleaning up the mess later. At least you can rejoice that you are still there, alive and able to do it.

Agreed 100%. You want war to end? Really want no more war? Make every battle Sherman's March to the Sea. See a dog? Shoot it. See a field? Burn it and salt the Earth. See a power plant? Obliterate it, regardless of type. Anything that moves, dies. Anything useful is destroyed. THAT is how you make war terrible and to be avoided at all costs. When people go through that once or twice, war will really mean something again and people would demand leaders who avoid it. Now? Now we have so many rules that we kill each other in such civilized fashion that no one really fears war any longer. . .

That makes sense, but the reality of blowback seems to be nonexistent in this point of view. Blowback is written off by war-hungry leaders with interests in war profits, who always claim this war will be the final solution...but it never ever is...because of blowback.

If a foreign power invaded the US, started buying our government, and putting troops in the area after dismantling our military wouldn't you fight back?
