This saddens my heart. Should have seen him two years ago when I had the chance. Never make the mistake like me. See your heros and loved ones while you can.

Heaven gone took another blues singer back home.

This is truly a sad day.
I pulled him over many years ago outside of Parkin, Arkansas and got a chance to talk with him. He was a true legend and will be missed.
He will live on in his music for generations to come.

RIP B.B. King

Sad news
One of the biggest icons in the music business ever. He did have a very fulfilling life though, he's seen it all I imagine. Godspeed BB

I wonder what will become of Lucille?

Very sad indeed - a hugely influential and iconic musician.
Started recording in 1949 (I think) and was a real music legend.

Damn, this is a sucky month for hubby as a music fan. First Ben E King, now B.B
He was a huge fan of both of them (especially B.B)

RIP B.B, you pretty much shaped an entire genre of music.

Sad. I had the pleasure of meeting him in an airport in France when I was 12....he had broken his leg when he slipped on ice there. He gave me one of his gold BBKing pins in the shape of his guitar.....I still have it somewhere.

He was truly a legend and his music will live on forever.

Broke my heart when I heard.... At least he had a long life doing what he loved. And he was well-loved by many.

Blues is my favorite music genre and we shared a birthday, so I always felt a special closeness to him.

RIP B.B... You deserve it...

That's really cool that you pulled him over. I would have as well : )

He wasn't just the King. He was iconic. He was the dude who played guitar so long that he couldn't stand the entire length of the show anymore. So he told someone to get him a chair and played another 27 years! As long as Hendrix lived! My God there is one hell of a jam going on in heaven right now. God Bless all of the bluesmen who showed the world what it's all about.

I'm going to write a MEAN blues right now and dedicate it to the greatest influential player this world has ever seen. My heart is broken.
