Thanks for sharing that personal video.

I think they were demanding rights like medical care but as they are illegals israel igonres them, they are useful for construction work and dish washing.

If they are useful for participating in developing infrastructure that benefits those who are legal citizens of Israel and maintaining sanitary conditions for them through occupations such as kitchen staff then perhaps they should be entitled to health care.

I'm still trying to figure out how one of the most sophisticated nations in the world along with the history it has had when it comes to tight border control on many fronts can have so many illegals "sneaking" in. That is another topic, tho.

They are everywhere, now the Falash get lumped in with these illegal immigrants and treated the same as they are pretty black too

Strange fruit indeed.

I know where you are coming from, never thought about the security on the borders really, it does make one wonder how on Earth the illegals are getting in. There's so many in Tel Aviv, you don't recognise it like twenty years ago. Then again there are loads of Thai's too, think they replaced the volunteers from the West when they stopped going there during the intifada periods.

There is big debate over there on who is entitled to medical care. As you say they are contributing, through the (sort of fits) black economy. Israel or Tel Aviv in particular needs very cheap labour as Israelis don't want to do the dirty work, they are generally highly educated, but maybe they should recognise this minority and what it does behind the scenes for the econmy of Israel.

I know some very highly educated Africans as well. To frame it the way you did is stereotyping and generalizing....on both ends. There are educated and not so educated in every nation, including Israel. I personally don't place any value on education. I believe the truly intelligent ones in this world have found a way not to become daily commuters working for another person or corporation. If I were to judge people by my own standards, I would place anybody who works in order to maintain their existence in life as being poorly educated in the true currency of life and dream fulfillment.

Also, the fact you mentioned in your earlier post that some of these "illegals" live under bridges with "cats" shows that not only are they being denied healthcare, they are being denied basic living accommodations and therefore are forced to take up habitat with "animals".

Not maybe; they should.

Here's how I suggest they go about that:

1) Stop identifying fellow human beings as "minority".

When we start seeing things from a human perspective, all the insane notions that cause division within the mind will cease.

The video in the OP and the little boy being slapped that I witnessed happened because some people don't see others as people like themselves. They replace the human with labels that allows for empathy and compassion to not arise.

It's normal to have social issues. It just becomes stupid when race, religion, nationality, etc. is mentioned as a factor. From space, Earth has no borders.

Btw, the same crap happens in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Dubai with people who have migrated there, not just in the holy land.
