What worries me is the fact that people are ok with the POLICE force running around like they are in Iraq, dressed for desert warfare.

There is a reason the Army does not police the country, the Police becoming an ARMY is just as bad, or perhaps WORSE.

I'll bet it was a false flag by the CIA in conjunction with the FBI sidelong by NASA supported by Obama funded by the illuminati. It's just a gut feeling I have no proof.

WBC is intolerant of free speech and more intolerant of the notion of live and let live... however despite their hatefulness and their Christianity(lol @ the persecuted Christian meme), the media and your average internet comment section agree... we don't like them but we would fight to the death to defend their right to spew every hateful word. Most people would do the same for Pamela Geller to host these bigot fests, I would.

It's something despite massive ideology differences, that Americans are pretty united on. Free speech always, no matter what. That doesn't mean that anyone has to tolerate the message. It doesn't mean we can't boycott or call for boycotts when something offends us, that is not the same thing as calling for legislation to remove certain types of speech from the protection of the 1st Amendment.

Exactly. A boycott is simply voting with your feet/dollars. It is not a violation of the First Amendment, as it is citizens using their discretion on what they want to support or not, not the government keeping someone from speaking.

What a coincidence you lol @ persecuted Christian meme, I do the same with the persecuted Muslim mantra as ISIS beheaded hundreds of Christians this weekend.

Freedom of expression has been successfully exercised, ISIS fighters on U.S. soil have been successfully smoked out with no loss of innocent life...and two p.o.s. terrorists have been killed.
Aside from the security guard getting shot in the foot...it's been a pretty successful day.

What's the downside of what happened?

Well free speech for ISIS in this country, and elsewhere for example, demands to created a free speech vacuum with themselves as the only ones in it.. Not to mention excusive martial retaliation privileges against offenders. Their position.....they will kill you if you offend.

Not a group that really qualifies for serious constitutional sympathies or societal largess.

Stupid event. Infantile really.

Stupid reaction to the event. Equally as infantile

Key word - stupid.

Another thought...

Its amazing how shooting two muslims has some people cheering for the Police again, isn't it? - after all the negativity recently.

I think that says alot about how fickle peoples minds are.

ETA - this isn't a dig at the police. They do a great job in the main despite some bad apples. Its a dig at those who want to cry injustice until their favourite bogeyman gets shot.

I suppose the cops should start wearing jump suit orange to make it fair.

Not sure that these two should be labeled ISIS terrorists without some proof. That plays into the escalation of that conflict.

But they did pay for their criminal action. I would think they didn't value there own lives any more than those they tried to take. It's sad these types seem to value death more than life.

They're not THAT smart. Since when have the Police ever acted smart.

They can flush out terrorists but not put a person in the back of a paddy wagon safely?

I cheer the police when they're actually doing their job, in this case taking down two armed men, before any innocent life was lost from just attending a cartoon display.

Added: Your comment seems to imply that the police indiscriminately shot the perps just because they're Muslim. They were armed and already shot a security guard. Just like every priest isn't a pedophile just because of a few, not every cop is a criminal. Everyone criticizes the police until they need a cop.

I think you forgot to mention that the "Muslims" in question, were there to kill people. Perhaps the word 'terrorists' would be more apropos.

That was part of the sarcastic point.

But hay in this case we could have some combat vets guarding these events, exercising their 2nd amendment rights. Get the job done.

Dressed as Rambos in Desert Camos wearing ski masks.

They look like they just had a round of Paint ball.

In fact they remind me of batman impersonators
