@Haman his quote below

And since when US cares about International regulations ? are your drone strikes in other's countries according to UN resolutions ? did you drop those little boys on japan by the request of international community ?

And heck please don't fool yourself . Iran is the most powerful and most vibrant enemy of US (unfortunately an enemy ) , if they could , they indeed would !!!!

Speaking of strategies , in response Iran can and will destroy All US bases around the region including the one in bahrain . thousands of US soldiers will vaporize . how about that my dear ?

OK. TAlk about Rhetoric and propaganda. Pot meet kettle.

Number 1. During WW2 the US was under the doctrine of TOTAL WAR and it was allowwed by the International comunity because they were our allies. SO yeah they didnt have a issue with it at the time. Also the people in japan were considered non comissioned military(civilians working toward military support of their country)And as such Viable targets.

Number 2. Most drone strikes are with permission from said countries.

Number 3. Iran is not a bigger enemy than China or Russia. Also the "bases" around Iran can be rebuilt in under 5 hrs these days. They can be EVACed faster than the Iranians could strike them. All they would hit are empty buildings and also piss off the countries they are in as well since there would be casualties of locals.

You seem angry though. why U mad bro?

Actually, they can't stop peaceful passage in their half of the strait either. The law I quoted is very clear. Nice try.

When you ignore patrol boats to the point that they are required to fire a warning shot, you are no longer covered by Innocent Passage.

4.Passage is innocent so long as it is not prejudicial to the peace, good order or security of the coastal State. Such passage shall take place in conformity with these articles and with other rules of international law.

Nice try.

The OP says this is a US ship; however, this article says it is a Marshall Islands flagship.

Link

The ship is a Marshall islands flagged ship.

But the Marshall islands is a US protected country.
The Compact of Free Association with the United States gives the U.S. sole responsibility for international defense of the Marshall Islands. It allows islanders to live and work in the United States, and establishes economic and technical aid programs.

Also the ship itself is at least partially, possibly 100 percent, owned by American investors.".

In other words it is a American ship.
www.cnbc.com...
These ships have a automatic beacon that shows its location at all times.
If that beacon showed the ship was in the shipping channel at the time of the emergency call Iran likely is in a lot of trouble.

Haman10- I don't reply much on ATS but you chose an interesting word to destroy US bases (in a hypothetical situation).

VAPORIZE?

Does your country, indeed, have the bomb?

Patrol boats are not supposed to come after you and try to pull you down during passage to be ignored.

They can't use being ignored as it is an illegal act as an excuse to fire upon you and force you to surrender. The very concept violates the concept of peaceful passage through a strait.

The US cannot attack without proper motivation though. Iran has not presented a incident big enough to cause a military reaction. Since the US is a member of the UN we cannot go out and Attack Iran without a very good reason. THAT is the reason WHy the US has not attacked them yet. Or maybe never will If they keep behaving.

What i posted is a STRATEGY to cripple IRAN in the EVENT of a WAR. Not just empty rhetoric or propaganda. And Dear im nearly 40 years old. Lol!!

Yea Yea, you want to know something I learned Haman everyone's tough until they're not.

yea yea . try again when you ruled the world for a thousand year .

en.wikipedia.org...

"The history of Iran, commonly also known as Persia in the Western world, is intertwined with the history of a larger region, also known as Greater Iran, comprising the area from Anatolia and Egypt in the west to the borders of Ancient India and Syr Darya in the east, and from the Caucasus and the Eurasian Steppe in the north to the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman in the south.

Iran is home to one of the world's oldest continuous major civilizations, with historical and urban settlements dating back to 4000 BC.[1]Hegel names the Persians as the first Historical People."

UM your wrong again Iran has been kicked around by its neighbors since the start.Ffirst Assyrians came in and took over they were from Mesopotamia. Than fighting back and forth between cities as they grouped together to kick them out. Babylon PersiansScythians and the Cimmerians. Than comes on Alexander the Great again that area wss conquered. Than just diffrent empires took over after until finally the the Sasanian Empire takes over. They fight with the Romans foe hundreds of years. But all the fighting weakened them so than came the invading Islamic armies once again they lose. And there's still more to come but I'll stop. because I'm curious is that the history the teach you?? Or wad this your opinion see i find it fascinating that if that's what they are teaching they found the need to alter history. Anyway back to the thread.

I have zero idea what u just said . care to PM me about it my friend ?

I thought you guys didn't have and didn't want to make nuke weapons?

That statement got under my skin it's your antagonistic and race card bull, you know what, let your leadership do some stupid # and see how long Iran exists beyond and American proxy state.

Honestly

Hypocrisy.

Someone makes a silly comment and you go all RAR RAR and threaten a invasion!

Attitudes like that don't help.

Attitudes like that are why the USA tops the ATS poll for biggest threat,

Chill.

Going round threatening to bomb and invade everyone does little to help the US except make people hate you.

Yes, but without this attitude, military folks are forced to start second guessing their purpose in life. The illusion most of them have been brainwashed into of being The Good Guys begins to slip. Then of course misguided macho rage.

This is nothing but Karma...LOL!

If it was the other way around (which happens quite often) the headline would read:

"Iranian cargo ship seized while importing illegal arms to insurgents."

Funny thing is that the US cargo ship may have been doing just that (speculation).

LOL

But then again, the Saudis said it was fired upon, so it must be true!

Gulf of Tonkin/USS Liberty anyone?

SMH...what a day!

This begs for U.S. action. The obvious reason is to ratchet up war with Iran. The stated reason will be to protect international trade and oil exports. Maybe this is like the old Gulf of Tonkin scam.

The level of IQ you guys (you and the ones who agreed with your post - also the ones who rule your country) is pretty much amazing .

A random guy on the internet - named haman10 - posted this on the internet : "we'll vaporize your bases if you attack us" and the response to that was :

"And here I thought the Iranian nuke program was for peaceful purposes. LOL."

indeed LOL . and LOL to those who agreed with you . but you know what ? this is pretty much a normal thing it seems .

I wouldn't be surprised if my post is taken to UNSC as a formidable evidence that Iran is seeking nukes .

indeed LOL . either that or average age here is no more than 14 .
