Baltimore Mayor says National Guard is on the way.

A curfew will only keep the law abiding people off the streets. Looters and rioters are already breaking the law...

I'm sure law abiding citizens are already holed up in their homes if they are near this anyway. A curfew won't do anything IMO.

Does anyone have a line on what is actually happening in West Baltimore with this "unprecedented violence", it seems weird to me that all these reports are mostly focusing on the aftermath and not the current activity. Or maybe i am just watching the wrong feeds.

Not unless they actually enforce it... which they probably won't.

I really don't understand the looting these days.
Even if you cover your face you are still on a camera or
many cameras & especially when people are covering their
face but loading their vehicles. Don't they know their TAG
is being recorded & they will still be caught? Makes NO sense
at all.

I'm also pretty sure this will go from a boil to a simmer once the National Guard shows up. The intensity of these people can't be maintained forever.

The YouTube channels are showing aerial feeds as at least one of the groups moves around. It's pretty much "as it happens." I can't speak to the news sites' feeds because I can't load them.

The ground feeds I've seen have been from safer locations.

Sounds like some of the more ballsy journalists (as in not your local evening part time reporter) are heading in to the area now.

As long as its under control before it gets too dark and all sorts of other undesirables decide to contribute. Thats what happened regarding the London riots.

It separates people in to "those who don't want any trouble" and "those who are out looking for trouble". After 5pm, if you're out, you're probably looking for trouble.
