We're number one! We're number one! We're Number one!"
USA!!!
USA!!!
USA!!!
Oh say can you see by the dawn's early light
what so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming...
Needless to say, the results of this poll didn't surprise me at all. I acknowledge America's position of danger to the world (though I suspect my reasoning for that is 180 degrees different from the reasons most chose the US as most dangerous), but I suspect a poll entitled "Which country represents the most likely nation to save humanity" the USA would win that one, too. It's the epitome of a double edged sword. The American politician giveth, and the American politican taketh away...

I can well accept the UK opinion. Though there is always the mention of the "Special relationship" in reality, the Brits really don't like the US much at all. Almost no one does. You can blame the policies of Washington for that, regardless of party in the seat.
dear friend , they said they have "undeniable proof" of Iraqi WMDs .

For those of you who thought that my country - Iran - is capable of posing a threat to humanity and vanish you all from the face of the earth ,
Not yet, but when they finally build their nuclear weapons then they will be.
Proof?
And Netcheyaho says so is not "proof".
Haven't we learned from making conclusion based on zero evidence from Iraq?

Dangerous.
But not dangerous enough not to accept foreign aid from us.
Or in times of disaster humanitarian relief.
Its ok if it was just aid the USA gave out.
Problem is you tend to drop bombs on people too....

or you never know which one it will be. For many countries receiving aid and/or bombs, its a straight up crapshoot.

I'd take that bet. Sorry Burd but it's not 1943 anymore. Your country has been overrun by corporations. The gov't doesn't really rule anymore. Hasn't in 50 years. THAT is why you get results like this. It's not the people. It's the system that you have that you can't escape.

As far evidence...do you really believe that with the ability to build one they won't?
And do you believe that if Iran had a nuke they wouldn't use it as some point?
Iran with its 3 decade sanctioned economy is called the world's biggest refugee camp .

International Aid: en.wikipedia.org...
USA largest COUNTRY on list nearly doubling second largest aid provider
UN Peacekeeping Efforts: www.un.org...
USA provides nearly 29% of UN's total peacekeeping budget, topping second place country by nearly 3 times. (Funding only, does not include physical troops)
NATO: www.cbsnews.com...
USA provides 23% of NATO's military funding and 22% of their civil funding, both tops.
From a fiscal standpoint, if the USA decided to stop hemmoraging money on the world, the world would suffer catastrophic losses. The same cannot be said about the reverse because the US is not an aid receiving nation, military, money, or otherwise. That's what I'm talking about. The rest of the world isn't going to shake out their couch cushions to scratch together those lost billions... but wars, natural disasters, and political strife would take place with or without America's credit cards. The USA is like a parent whose children see them as little more than a walking cash machine and a target for whining and complaint. Ultimately, when mommy and daddy have had enough and force the child to leave the nest and fare for themselves, the child inevitably recognizes they were whining about way too good a thing to have taken a crap on.
they went in and OOPSY !! none was found .
The New York Times has run an investigation into the large cache of WMDs found in Iraq during the war. The Times has documented at least 5,000 weapons of mass destruction that were found and subsequently covered up by the Pentagon. In the Times article written by C.J. Shivers describes the first time U.S. troops discovered such weapons:
The soldiers at the blast center sensed something was wrong.
It was August 2008 near Taji, Iraq. They had just exploded a stack of old Iraqi artillery shells buried beside a murky lake. The blast, part of an effort to destroy munitions that could be used in makeshift bombs, uncovered more shells.
Two technicians assigned to dispose of munitions stepped into the hole. Lake water seeped in. One of them, Specialist Andrew T. Goldman, noticed a pungent odor, something, he said, he had never smelled before. He lifted a shell. Oily paste oozed from a crack. “That doesn’t look like pond water,” said his team leader, Staff Sgt. Eric J. Duling.
The specialist swabbed the shell with chemical detection paper. It turned red — indicating sulfur mustard, the chemical warfare agent designed to burn a victim’s airway, skin and eyes.
All three men recall an awkward pause. Then Sergeant Duling gave an order: “Get the hell out.”

(from user indigent) :Tell your government to stop invading countries, that way you don't need to send "help" taxpayer, Afghanistan and Iraq are principal recipients of your aid, followed by Israel and Pakistan, so your aid is aimed to reconstruction of countries destroyed by you/military targets
Oh and such a giving nation you are, always #1...
