Ah but we are the only species that holds the ability to destroy the world as we know it, along with enough evils, divisions, hatred and ignorance to one day actually do it. It's not just possible, it is inevitable.

Does it really matter which country strikes first?

We have a self destruct mechanism, by design.

Well, then if the U.S. is hell would you rather serve or suffer? Given the inevitability of our destruction at our own hands. a reply to: ausername

The US government is the best resourced big gang in town, hardly any wonder they appear to be the biggest threat to most ATS members. That, and how it treats its own people, as I asserted in a previous post in this thread.

If we were asked who was the most dangerous I'd say the UK...

Right now they're 3rd for me.

I have to disagree, and I'd like to think this isn't seen as some patriotic nonsense, but I do think the UK, sometimes, keeps the US in check.

Syria is a good example, the order to invade had practically been given by the US senate, until the UK said "no, sorry, not this time lads, you go in, you go in alone".....all of a sudden the US no longer wanted to invade Syria.

I'm not saying the UK has some hold over the US, the fact we have gone to so many illegal wars as a result of American influence on our elected parties shows that not to be the case.....but the US does seem to show caution when we aren't there to help.

I've always seen that as the US has the firepower, we have the strategy (ex. Bin Laden compound raid was organised by British SBS(?)).

Hey man, why are you wasting your time here? Clearly if you're from the U.S. you are by default more ignorant than everyone else. I'm from the U.S. and I have accepted this. I focused more on the survey. If someone were to simple ask everyone in ats what the rest of ats thought regarding how dangerous the U.S. is, I bet the results would be the same. a reply to: sstech

Facetious statement or completely serious.

Replying to myself lol, but my previous post is why I support Trident nuclear submarines and the billions it costs us in taxes in the UK each year. Just that single always active sub out of four holds weapons which force the world bullies to think before they # with us.
I love this island and it is nice to know that a nation may well be able to wipe us out but will think twice when their capitol and other major cities would suffer the same fate if they tried.

Like I told you before your dairy products are banned to to the bovine steroids you inject into your cows...look it up.
Plus mountain dew has carcigens in which are banned in the eu.

I don't know why you would drink nasty soda anyways. But you are talking about rBST. California banned rBST. Look it up.

No, I get it. You have to pick out flaws in other countries policies to make you feel better about your own acts of aggression around the globe.

I just don't have the time to go look up all the crap and post links. It sounds like you actually have some US issues to work out. I am here to help.

Lets start from the beginning. How are your teeth?

My teeth are lovely slightly off white straight thank you for asking.
Two upper central and lateral incisor's are implants after a violent incident, and replaced for free on the NHS.
I was working and earning a good coin when that was done for free. It pleases me that we fix our broken people and don't ask for money at the point of need.

*Edit*
Your country does not offer the same benefits to its citizens.
I know which I prefer.
