Anyone who claims there is no possibility of a paranormal occurrence here is a fool. There are many other possibilities, but I've lived long enough to have witnessed many clearly paranormal events. Demons are real. Get professional help to address all the more common possibilities. Postpartum depression is high on the list of possibilities. There is clearly an increase in paranormal activity on the planet right now. Many people are reporting bizarre experiences similar to what you and your boyfriend describe. I could write a short book on the many corroborated incidents I have experienced that would be placed squarely in the paranormal realm. Good luck, and whatever you do don't listen to the voices.

Anyone who claims that demons exist without any evidence whatsoever is a fool. If demons existed someone would have collected some evidence of their existence, which has to date not happened.

No, what's foolish is thinking this IS a paranormal occurrence...It's not. It sounds very much like postpartum psychosis.

Especially hearing the "do it" command...It will only get worse, btw. The OP needs to seek help BEFORE that happens or something happens that cannot be taken back.

Okay, that crap needs to stop right now. One of the key features of these sorts of intrusive thoughts is the anxiety spiral making it worse. The very fact that she is so anxious about this means that it is completely incongruent with her personality and she is NOT GOING TO HURT ANYONE!

Advice to seek help is fine.

Talking out your a$$ and making an already frightened person more frightened is irresponsible and cruel.

Postpartum depression does not make you a danger to yourself or others and throwing out "postpartum psychosis" to someone already in an anxiety spiral just to be a catastrophizing, sensationalizing jerk is a crap-useless-human-being thing to do.

Shut up. You're a bull in a china shop.

Do you have an update since the 21st? As for seeing colors and things with your eyes closed, the optic nerves send all kinds of colors out if we look for them, I can close my eyes and see all sorts of oranges and blues and some yellow in there. Thing is, to notice them I have to think about them and "look", I usually don't focus on them. Maybe you and your friend haven't focused on those colors in your closed eyes before, watched them change shape, etc., and upon seeing them you tied them into some spooky feelings. You can make faces out of them quite easily by just looking at the color patterns. Nothing at all to be freaked out about, if that's what it is.

The events you describe sound unusual, but I wouldn't go stampeding to demons or insanity as the reason. The sudden sense of dread you described was a very close parallel to something I experienced just a few days ago. My wife and I went out to dinner. We decided to try a new place. The moment I walked in the door I felt a horrible sense of dread, like something horrible was about to happen. We got a table and I sat there hoping the feeling would go away but it only got worse. We had ordered an appetizer but we asked to have it wrapped up and we left. As soon as I walked outside I felt fine. Something about that place really bothered me. I have no idea why and have never been there before.

That was an isolated incident so for me the answer is simple. Don't go there. For you the answer isn't quite as convenient. At least, not on the surface.

I am not a super religious person, but I believe in something, I just don't know how to describe it or put a name on it. But, when we bought our house we had a priest come in and bless each room. It was pretty cool to watch and we felt good about it. I would suggest doing that for starters. I don't think it could hurt. You don't have to tell him why if you don't want to. It shouldn't matter as far as I know.

Regardless of how you choose to proceed, if these feelings get worse in any way I would try to talk to someone. Maybe family is a good place to start, or a close friend. Just don't think you have to do it alone because you don't. Even if you and the boyfriend aren't seeing eye to eye at the moment, you still don't have to go through it alone.

Good luck. I hope things work out well for you.

And your a freaking igmo, PPD has increased suicide rates and increased infanticide rates.

Help is certainly necessary i don't think shes a" bull in a china cabinet" nor is she taking delight in someones pain. Stop trying to be a self righteous hero, thinking you can tell people how to and how not to act,and mind your own business.

Nope.

Only a tiny fraction of women suffering from either one will hurt their children, said Susan Stone, chairwoman of the President's Advisory Council for Postpartum Support International, a California-based advocacy group.

And increasing anxiety in someone who is suffering from this is not helpful to anyone. Advocating appropriate treatment is a good thing though, as long as it is someone knowledgeable.

I don't think the poster is taking delight in anyone's pain and I did not imply that, but he or she will make it worse by catastrophizing. Conflating the severity of postpartum depression with postpartum psychosis is irresponsible and implying that she is dangerous is the LAST thing to do right now. Yes. A bull in a china shop. I will absolutely stand by that.

Until you've been through this (and I have) it is difficult to describe the horror of that relentless anxiety feed-back loop. I am just trying to help with limited information like everyone else here.

Know that you feed it with your fear. That is the nature of these beings.

Hold strong, there are many many more light beings that possess immense love and wisdom who can help you. But you must ask for help. If you've never prayed before this may feel silly to you. But go within your heart...what do you want? ask Archangel Michael for his protection. Envision light within you radiating outwards. Affirm loving thoughts.

Affirm loving thoughts.

If you don't want to do it alone hire a healer you feel good about to come to your home and do a cleansing ritual with the whole family. The key to this is not allowing this being to exploit your fears. It is possible to Love this being. Crushed garlic in all doorways if you like...
