I've been an anon on this sight for a while and planned to stay that way but recently something has happened and been happening that I really need some serious response.

To start out with, I have never had any delusions or hallucinations EVER in my life. I have however been under a lot of stress.

Okay a couple of months ago I was in my daughter's room on the floor just watching a show on my phone. I suddenly got this INTENSE feeling of dread and I wanted to die. I was terrified. I had to check on my baby, I HAD to hold her. Before I got off the floor to check on her, my head kinda got quiet and I heard "do it" this wasn't like my own thought it was something completely different. I was scared #less. I didn't know what "it" was or what I was being told to do, I just know I felt like my whole world was plummeting into darkness all of a sudden.

After that nothing happened for a while. Then just the other night I was lying on my bed and happened to look over at my closet. Something was there. I couldn't see it, but I could FEEL it. I stopped looking. Just looking in the direction of it was intimidating. So a little later I went to bed. Closed my eyes. That is when I saw it. Yellow eyes, it looked like a #ing demon straight the # up. I opened my eyes but nothing was there. Dread consumed me again. I can only see this #er WWHEN MY EYES ARE CLOSED HOW #ING SCARY IS THAT.

BUT IT GET #ING WORSE. My boyfriend the next night (mind you, I said nothing about this demon thing to him) said he felt a #ing terrible feeling and HE ALSO SAW A YELLOW EYED THING WHEN HE #ING CLOSED HIS EYES. ONLY WHEN HIS EYES ARE CCLOSED. I asked him if he saw it near the closet and he kinda freed out a little. Chills were had and so forth.

So last night I was alone in the bed cause boyfriend and I were fighting. I felt him again, the #ing thing. All of my thoughts ceased and I just felt it (the dread) physically creep closer to me.

Guys I'm #ing scared. Please help... is there a demon following me? Or am I just wack# crazy.

Btw my name is briana, just to actually introduce myself.

Just please read and please help. I'm terrified.

Another side note my daughter's room is LITERALLY right next to our if that makes a difference.

I will pray for you and your family. I have a suggestion...next time the entity shows up...pray out loud and ask Heaven to remove it...let me know what happens.

I'd go see a mental health professional, because it seems you have a poor grip on sanity.

I don't say this to be rude, but you are either hallucinating or lying. I'm willing to believe you are telling the truth, but that leaves hallucinations as the only other reasonable option.

I normally wouldn't say anything, but you mention you have a daughter and she deserves a mother who isn't living in a dream(nightmare).

I'm serious, if you are really seeing and/or feeling these things seek out professional help.

Good luck to your daughter and yourself.

Hi, try staying away from the house for a few days and see if it dies down. If it does then it's not you.

If on the other hand it continues, you said that you are under stress, well sometimes stress can be a precursor to setting off mental health issues. So if you are away from the house and it continues, I'd see a doctor.

Is it a new home you've moved into?

How would you know?
Hallucinations dont come with a warning you know!

I suddenly got this INTENSE feeling of dread and I wanted to die
Are you on any medication? Many people have killed themselves because of meds that made them feel they wanted to die.

Either get off the meds, or get on them!

Details needed:

1) Foods eaten before these events.
2) Drinks ingested before these events.
3) Any medication you might be on.
4) Any illicit drugs you might be using.

Or you could go to the doctor instead of asking a bunch of "internet experts."

I'm already going to seek professional help, but the fact that my boyfriend also saw and felt the same thing really raises red flags.

I appreciate the response, and am definitely not going to let insanity get in the way of being a mother, if that's what this is anyway.

You just sound a little depressed to me.

I wouldn't worry to much, it's definitely nothing supernatural. Maybe you guys just saw a movie or something on TV, or it might just be pure coincidence, which does happen.

Either way, life can get stressful at times and can end up doing your head in big time, but that's all it is. Talking to someone about it is probably the best thing to do, or if you don't feel you can, then definitely see a doctor.

In the meantime, relaxing to some wholesome music never hurts.

Peace

I don't know what, if any, your religious beliefs are, and I am in no way trying to push mine on you! That said, I offer up to you that I have read multiple accounts of people (even some who claim to be atheists) banishing an evil presence by saying something along the lines of "In the name of Jesus Christ, I command you to depart."

Really, what is the harm in trying? If you try it, do report back!

Well, you got some advice and I'm not sure what I could add really. It is odd that you and your boyfriend both had the same experience which leads me to think it very well could be paranormal, but check with a doctor first to rule all other things out, just in case. Welcome to ATS!

Technixcality, reading to fast, bud. You missed the part about the MALE in the house having the same experience.

I do not recall it being possible for men to experience such things as postpartum depression. Tho, this world is kind'a crazy, and the rules are often broken and bent.

As my fellow ATSers are fond of telling people to seek medical professional help, the only accounting that would scientifically link things to both of you experiencing the same things would be a gas or other chemical hazard in the home affecting you both, in such a way. Write things down, record strange things you notice, like headaches, or dizzyness, anxiety. Have your boyfriend do the same. You should be able to discover a pattern, if there is one.

Alternatively, there are plenty of things we don't know about things we cannot see. Personally, this sounds more of either a presence of unknown origin. Demon is a fitting description, however, not everything that looks scary, necessarily is. The voice you heard, could also be something entirely along the same lines, but a different origin.

How old is your child, if I may ask?

Some non-professional methods, which another member mention above, is by calling upon Jesus Christ's name to remove said presence from your home. Biblical speaking, all demons must flee when told to do so upon invoking His name. Such statements, made boldly, as "In the name of Jesus Christ, Leave this home now, and do not return". is simple enough.

Other things you could try, would be Pagan, or Wicca methods of cleansing the home, usually by burning certain incense throughout the home for a period of time, and than washing all entrance areas with salt-water There are many methods.

Using ATS search functions, should yield many options for you to read over.

Welcome to ATS, by the way, hopefully you will stick around, and enjoy the community once you have your dilemma sorted out, MudStuffin. Best of luck to you, and your family.

Brianna

Have you ever wondered why older people say drugs and alcohol are bad

If you are doing this, stop

If you are in a bad relationship, abusive

Stop

If you never read bible , DO IT

Demons come for the weak, you are weak

BECOME STRONG, get to know Jesus

Shared hallucinations are a documented and proven scientific fact, whereas scary demons with yellow eyes only happen in the movies.

I'd get your boyfriend some mental help as well...

"Feeling of overwhelming dread" indicates an anxiety attack of sorts. They come in all sizes and flavors. Doesn't mean you are insane, just means you are having high anxiety at this time. If you would like some recommendations on managing it, PM me. As for the boyfriend, he is susceptible to yours, and is internalizing it. His will go away when yours does, most likely.

Calling on Jesus to ban anything only works if you believe that it will work. The Christians call it "having enough faith" but what it really is, is having enough focused intent on getting rid of whatever it is (even if it's nothing more than an intellectual projection) for that intent to send whatever-it-is packing and looking for easier prey.

Just gather your intent and challenge the damn thing. You are not a victim unless you allow yourself to believe that you are a victim. You are the epitome of progressive development within the reality confine that hosts your existence. Even if it, too, is as epitomical as you are, it's not more than you are, and believe me, if it is a predator of Earth corporeal humanity, then it knows that it's no more or less than you are.

In other words, regardless of how it is capable of forcing you to perceive it (yellow eyes and all) it is a human being and it once was just as corporeal as you are now, and it was once just as afraid of boogeymen as you are right now. Attack it with your most ferocious intent, and watch the goddamn thing shrink away from you.

And if it doesn't right away, then attack it again - imagine a powerful blast of force rushing out from yourself to all directions, again and again and again, until there's nothing at all left to attack.

If it comes back, then give it both barrels again, and keep at it until the damn thing moves on for easier prey.

This is what "calling on Jesus" does for Christians. This is what smudging does for Native American shamans. This is what all ritual cleansings do, regardless of what belief system the ritual is based on.

Nothing is as powerful as a human being that knows exactly what's what within its own reality confine. There are no gods, demons, angels, or anything at all that is sapient and capable of self-aware conceptual abstraction except the human being. When the human race from this planet finally figures this out, Earth will produce human beings that aren't prey for any other version of humanity within either the Material or Eternal Realms.

You're eternal, indestructible and indomitable. Accept it as simply the natural way that a human being is (you can't earn it or lose it as a result of any god or religion's dictates) and refuse to allow some other jerk human being to have his/her way with you any longer. You don't need help. You just need an accurate perspective.

How long have you lived in this house?

Am wondering what brought this thing to you or if has always been there.

That is some scary stuff.
