The latest update :

Out of his surgery.
Cleaned up the left side and vac-pac placed onto the right hand and forearm.
Little bit of a wobble in the theatre but came good.
Needs to rest overnight and hope to try for some Independent breathing tomorrow.

Baby steps, but in the right direction

Thanks DeepRomany, he's making progress thanks to the amazing support he has both at home and from you guys here at ATS, if he gets well enough I'll send him this thread so he can see how many people were rooting for him. He'll be somewhat gobsmacked I'm sure.

Yep it truly is great

Night my dear friend we've walked this road with others, It's an honour to have you walk with me again, never thought I'd be the one asking !!!

They reduced Ross's sedation today and his mum sent us this, brought a tear to my eye

Not quite ready to say a full hello today, going back to sleep for a bit more rest, will try again tomorrow.
Take your time son, we can wait for as long as it takes. X

Cody there are a lot of damn fine doctors in Australia and i am sure Perth has its fair share of them . I love to pump Australia up but when it comes to our hospitals we are second to none . He was in the best place to have an accident . Well if that is possible . You know what i mean .

I spoke with Di yesterday, she was so impressed at the professionalism, and dedication of the care staff. She couldn't praise them enough. Anywhere else and this thread would likely have taken a very different direction.
