Well I'm glad I didn't go down to Cedar Point today - I'm sick with something totally foreign today! See, on Tuesday one of our coworkers came back from his honeymoon. About 3:00pm, I noticed I had developed a cough (it reminded me of a cough you get when you run in the winter without protecting your mouth). This wasn't just something I developed. No symptoms until this coworker came in, and then BAM! Instant coughing. The weird part was - the cough got worse over the course of Wed-Fri, but there were no other symptoms!!! I felt fine - no fever, aches, no congestion, just a bad cough that wouldn't go away! The last time I was this sick, was when I had the flu almost 10 years ago. This isn't the flu, because when I get the flu, I get it all the way.

Well, the coughing fit is mostly over today, but now the congestion has set in - Pretty much every place I went I had to blow my nose before running in.

Well, looks like little bird ended up landing down from the second floor porch to the first floor, clinging on to the front of that porch. Mark had been out earlier and noticed a big grey and white cat on our porch and we never have cats on our porch so he was wondering if the cat had the bird for lunch, but then the cat took off and he saw the little bird trying like hell to scurry up the woodwork and then was just clinging on. So... he was rescued again, put in a open box and on a chair on the second floor porch which is my Mom's.

Mark said he isn't able to fly high enough and still too young. He said I should close the box and put breathing holes in it so he doesn't get away for now. I had it in the opened box, then went in quickly tell my Mom the bird was back. I decided that if he got away again, we have too many cats in the neighborhood and the little thing just isn't ready to be on his own yet, so I got tape and a pen from Mom and went to fix the box up and...little bird had gotten out and was at the other end of the porch. Good grief! I pick him up, stick him the box with a towel and poke lots of breathing holes in it and settle him in for the night. Hope the hell I can keep it alive! He seems pretty healthy so far.

Foss, I have been hearing about a lot of people getting sick lately. I have no idea what it is and hope you get well soon. I think we even had a thread about it somewhere.

Little Bird died. Got run over by a car. I knew he would die if I left him the box because I knew how hot and humid it would be today. I let him out and he hung around the porch for hours then disappeared. I worried because he couldn't feed himself and there were cats in the neighborhood. Just looked out and saw something in the road. I went outside and found that it was Little bird. I am very sad that he didn't make it, but relieved that he went so quick and never knew what him in. Fly free little Angel. I loved you while I knew you.

Yeah, that might sound corny, but I don't care. I really did love that beautiful, innocent little bird.

Where is everyone???????????

Going out for lunch and shopping later. I'll check in tonight. There had better be someone visiting in here or else. LOL

So we went and got out new tattoos this weekend. OMG it hurt so bad on my ribs but I am soooo glad I sat through it. I am tickled to death with mine!!!

I love it! And what a perfect tattoo for you (or at least for the Syx we know). This is my fourth...my husbands 6th. I'm kinda old school so I like to keep mine hidable, but I'm running out of room. That would be awful to have a reaction. Do they think it's all inks or a certain color? Oranges won't stay for me, any orange looks faded as soon as it heals. I know the pic was last year but it doesn't look faded, I think it looks mean!!! (In a good way)

I reacted to the white ink mostly I s'pose.
It was pretty bad and had to use triple anti-biotic ointment on it for a few weeks!
Like I mentioned it is faded now. A tat shop guy here had the same thing happen to him, so He could relate to me on this one. He said to wait a year before having it redone...

Only a couple months to go! LOL!!

After the scolding of the middle wizard Kade, the companions walked along in an awkward silence. "I don't know what everyone is so upset about." said Pesky. I was going to cut the boy loose once everyone fell asleep anyway." Kade glared at the little Pixie and after the initial fear that filled his very soul, he was agitated and resentful. Maybe I should turn to the other side he thought. They would appreciate him more. He was tired of Blaze the youngest wizard and his not learning quickly enough. He would be a hindrance to their progress but no one scolded him and made a fool of him did they? And Darious...oh he seemed to know all the spells and all the right things to say and do. This being a middle man wasn't working. No, there had to be more for him, something worthy of his time and knowledge. The wheels were turning while the others remained unaware. He whispered a spell so that no one could read his thoughts and kept to himself.

Night almost stepped on a bright green frog. "watch what you're doing big ears!" he croaked. Night's eyes widened. "Um...sorry." Garren chuckled. "Fearless frog. Isn't he amazing?" The elf chuckled herself. "Yes, amazing indeed. Um...do they all talk?" Garren gave her a strange look. "You're kidding right?" "I have seen many strange things in my realm, but I have never met a talking frog before." With that, the boy was curious to learn more of her world and asked many questions.

Night was fast approaching and they decided to set up camp. Wolf started whining and sniffing at the knitted bag. "What's wrong boy?" asked Night. She opened up the bag, took out the decorative box and opened it. The glowing dragon egg had a crack in it and it widened by the minute. "He's going hatch!" she shouted. She was so nervous and exited. She thought there would be more time. Silently, she sent out a message to Storm her dear dragon friend. He would know what to do if anyone. They all gathered around in anticipation of the miniature dragon's birth.

Shadow and the other wolves were vigilant in their watch and paced around the camp. Hugo spread his rainbow wings and took to the sky guarding from up above. The moon seemed larger and brighter than it normally did. The stars danced wildly on their velvet stage.
