Well, the 1st one in pic 2 was "Mary, Queen of Scots" house in Jedburgh, the 2nd in pic 3 was Jedburgh Castle/Jail.
You know L, we could have spent the entire week here visiting castles!! (I'm sure if you google them, you'll get more pics/info?)
The border country was always hotly "contested" by the Scots and English, so they built loads of castles to try and secure their interests here on both sides!
I think you'll maybe like this next one...

That's the boys "protecting" Etal Castle in the English borders!
I think I need to educate them a bit more on their history!!! BUT they LOVED every minute of it, and they both bought wooden swords in the gift shop... with their own money... and they are as happy as can be!

So love the pictures you posted..I so love seeing castles and learning about history...and where you live there is so so much history there...i think one of my grand parents lived in one of those castles but who knows what one...man thanks so much for shairing them...

Heading out to Beecher to have some fun...They have bands there tonight..and i will be playing a game that takes quarters and they push the other quarters down...i am hooked on that dam game..but i have like 28 tokes so we can cash them on for some thing..tHey do have some cool dragons that Syx wants to get...but man that game really sucks up our money but its so fun..quarters down and we keep putting them back in...Hope every one has a great weekend and please STAY SAFE..

Hello Everyone! Happy 4th of July!

As you can tell by my lack of activity here, the job is going extremely well thanks Night

The order books are overflowing and I'm pulling 60 hour weeks minimum, but I'm going to cut back to 55 in the near future LOL. I get to spend time with Mrs C on the way in and home as she works about 1.5 miles from me so we share the car, and it's quality time for us that we never used to get.

I miss you guys too, but it's all towards earning money so we can get a good deposit on a nice little house, with a nice little garden, and grow some serious vegetables. It's not much of a dream but just moving out of this drug infested area to a 'normal' neighbourhood would be heaven. Hence I'm working my skinny little butt off to save as much as I can.

And to those of us not celebrating independence, and kicking some English butt (Gordi I'm not sure where you sit there ) Have a great weekend

I had to laugh at Pres Obama saying that Scotland should NOT vote for Independence!! (Better, Safer, more secure to stay under the rule of the British Govt. apparently!!!) ROFL

You had posted, away back in the spring, about having alot of cabins(?) to get ready?

I'm a little slow at replying, but I so wanted to ask you about that!

Was that for your job(?), or something other?

I was a housekeeper and that reminded me of a job I once had.

The owners were planning a wedding, with a gazillion guests, and the had like 5 houses on the estate that all needed cleaned top to bottom. A gazillion beds to strip and launder....etc.

So your post made me think of that job, and I have wanted to ask you...

Hey Bug,

Cleaning cabins is just one of my jobs. It's seasonal. And very profitable. I't hard work, but the season is so short, I kinda think of it as joining a gym for a couple months, except I get paid. LOL!!!!

I had Lemon Balm ( I think that's what it's called) I never cooked anything with it.
