OH Skid,

I still have coconut cream pie to eat. LOL!!

Thanks for the laugh.

Night I am sorry to hear you have received unfavorable news. You are in my prayers

Hello to everyone who is reading. I hope you all have had a blessed day.

I did most of my cooking yesterday, so today I just enjoyed.

Sucking on a Salty Dog at the moment. In a bit, we are going for a walk in the woods. It has been raining but for now it has stopped.

I got a call from My New Boss. I will start work next week. And he is cool with me taking off next Sat & Sun to go Turkey hunting.

Today, for some reason, I have been thinking about a friend back in Illinios. Tonight I'm thinking about giving them a call.

I have no plans to go back down this year. But when I get this feeling, It almost makes me nervous, like something isn't right. I may be taking a road trip in the next couple of weeks.

Ok, we are ready for our walk. See ya'll later.

I've tried that myself (sucking on a salty dog) but,
the hair in my teeth was just too much!

Ah...I'm not quite sure how to take that. I'll just shut up so I don't say something that will get me banned.

You all have me laughing

Chirp I can't handle the hair either it looks so odd when you smile.

Thanks to all who have shown support.
I am rather nervous about the whole situation.
(just deleted a long explanation)
The Shed has been my refuge all these long months of seclusion and constant scrutiny. Ten to be exact. You have given me room to care for others, to laugh and cry. To have something close to "normal" That may sound sad but it is reality.

Not a single day in privacy. I can handle being a hermit, but to never know who has been in the house or if some one will come un-announced drives me nuts. With no room for normal social interaction.
And now the "vultures", if they take her away.....she isn't "normal".
Thanks for letting me vent.

Hugs to All who are having a rough time.

And hugs to you who are on top of life.

It all molds and changes like the earths crust, in subtle shifts or at times as the mighty ocean roaring and crushing.
Are we mountains, turned into little pebbles by the tide of time, to be sifted through the palm of life on a shore so far far from where we began our journey?

I don't mind being a pebble ending up in some birds gizzard, at least it serves a purpose.

I am so sorry. I don't like this news. You should be having a good life by now on your imaginary front porch.
One day, if there are days in eternity, we will all sit and laugh at the trials we encountered.
At least I hope so. I for one don't want to go through this again.

Hi Wis.
I hope all is going well for you.
Thanks for sharing so many nice thoughts with everyone here.
It's been my observation,
and perhaps I'm wrong,
but I think there are two types of people in this world.
Those who are having a hard struggle in life,
and those who don't let anyone know about theirs.

We're all in this together.
Take care.

Aww Thank You, yes perhaps we are all grains of sand turning into diamonds as we rub off each others course surface.
Please give our Dear Bug a grand hug from me, would you take her hand please, gently, between yours and tell her "I love you"

Many years ago I experienced what I call " An Esther Moment" This lovely old lady Esther and I would sit together in the pew for morning mass, we would go out for breakfast on and off and I never thought to exchange addresses.
Well I moved and just assumed all was well until I revisited the church after perhaps a year.

Esther was in the pew with an aid and she didn't recognize me. I had failed. I hadn't told her how much she meant to me how much I loved her. She was too far gone.
That is why I tell people now that I love them, I never want another "Esther Moment" in my life. Ever.

I'm baack - for the moment that is.

How's everyone been doing lately? Due to MI finally starting to warm up (and personal business), I haven't been able to do much with ATS for a while. It'll probably be on-and-off all spring/summer long.

I did something I'm not used to doing yet - due to having an introverted nature, I don't often play my music in public. Well, today I played in a park. This park is basically a set of trails that follows a large creek - most people didn't take the trails because they were flooded out (I know how to mitigate this - wear boots). The one trail leads to a bit of a Sandy beach and a clearing - there used to be a picnic table there, but it must have washed away at some point.

Anyway, because it's far enough away and surrounded by trees, water, and brush, I sat down and played for an hour/half. As I'm playing, I keep getting the feeling I'm being watched, but I hear no-one splashing the puddles. Only person that came up was someone I saw a ways off. I get done playing, and go around the puddles back into the woods to find...a groups of 6 people just listening.

Not much else is new on my end - Just falling asleep listening to the thunder.

PS: Check the Member's Photo thread...It will only be up for a couple days.

I've got an idea for in here that we could do later on this week if you guys are up for it. I don't think we've done this for a while as far as I know. One night this week, Friday, Saturday, or whatever night works best, we should have some karaoke to pass the time! There rules for it are simple as well:

1. Post a video.
2. Post the lyrics to the song!

That's the only two rules!!

I'll leave you guys with these to think it over!

Foss, been thinking about you! I bought a nice piece of pyrite and a rough rose quartz piece! Gorgeous! How awesome to be playing outside and have people stop and listen to you!

Wis, You know you are always in my prayers.

You are a strong and smart women. You are a survivor.

I have no doubt, that if you put your mind to it, you will be victorious in your quest for peace.

And I would also like to say, I agree with Night. You have a beautiful way with words.

With all the adventure's you have had in your life, writing a book would be an easy thing for you. And I bet you could make alittle cash doing it.

I have gotten 2 books from member's here at ATS. And it was well worth the money I spent.

Write that book Girl. I will be the first in line to get your autograph.

Love that wolf picture you posted.

My last story entry pg 334
The little winged nightmare smiled sweetly as she floated down to rest on Martin’s knee.

“My name is Ella. I am a Forest Fairy. Your silent wood friends have sent me to help you find NightStar. She needs the parchment papers that you found when she goes to the library. Your friends are gathering breakfast. As soon as we eat we head out. There is much to be done so we must hurry!”

Martin and her friends had been wondering the forest for weeks and the dark castle never seemed to come any closer to them.
“Drego, I thought you knew the way!” Martin huffed. “Surely our friends have given up on us. We seem to be getting no closer to our destination. What is going on here?”

Ella slowly flitted around looking to see some kind of landmark to guide them. “I don’t understand” she said. “We should have arrived at least a week ago but we are just as far away as when we set out! It must be magic. Someone is blocking our path. Someone doesn’t want us to bring the papers to NightStar.”
“Ella, can you fly to the castle? Could you find your way by air?” Drego asked? “Could it be that the magical forest has us trapped but if you fly above the forest you could break through the spell?”
“It’s possible. I honestly don’t know. I don’t feel magic so I don’t know what we are fighting.”
Martin, Drego, and Ella made a quick pack that included the parchments with the necklace etchings and writings; along with supplies Ella would need.
“Please be safe my little winged friend. Let everyone know that we are here in the Dark Forest and we are trying to find our way to them.”
Ella shot up into the night sky and with a tinkle of bells was gone.
Up up up and then she saw, they had been placed within a forest “bowl” that they would have never made it to the castle. She was the only chance. She had to find NightStar!!!!!

Hello my Lovely people!

Skid, man that was close! That guy was crazy!

Hi Beautiful Kitty Kat!

Martin, great entry!
If I don't write later in the story, I'll try to make an entry tomorrow night. Maybe Tom will make one today sometime.

One of these days I have to go through all my pics here at the site and replace some with newer ones. Hard to choose which to keep and which to let go. LOL

Hi folks,
I'm back from my wee break up in the Highlands.
It was very, very nice!

Great weather, nice apartment, great food, amazing scenery...
Managed to do some forest trails and a conquered wee hill too! (1st time I've managed that in nearly 2 years since I damaged my knee!!)
No ill effects yet - so I am a very happy bunny!!

Saw an old Steam Train "chuffing" away, visited the Highland Folk Museum, walked round Loch-an-Eilean, filmed the Mountain Rescue Team Helicopter landing and then taking off again (from about 50 feet away!), climbed Craigellachie (493M / 1600feet), watched hundreds of Frogs spawning....

I will try and post a couple of pictures... I think I took a couple of hundred!!!! ROFL

Nice to be back, but I'm tired! I need a wee break.... LOL
