A few years back...
I had it for over 14 weeks!!! From Dec 14th right through into April the following year!!!

Not any fun at all.

PLUS - I can't even enjoy a wee drink!!! (Apart from the odd hot toddy)

I did try Golden Milk today - The home-made Turmeric infused coconut milk & honey health drink.
It was DEE-LISH!!!! But I don't know if it'll do me any good?? Worth a try I suppose.

It's hit the UK hard this year kat

I ended up with a lung infection and actually took time off work
Most of my colleagues have been off for at least a week at some point (including some ladies)

BUT ........................ Down south here around London, where we're winning the rugby, they breed us tough, we deal with immigrants, house prices and a government full of Scots.

How much turmeric do you add?

I made up a Turmeric paste first.... Turmeric and black pepper in water - heated until it forms a paste.
Then use about a teaspoonful of the paste in a cup full of coconut milk, with teaspoon of coconut oil and then honey to taste... (I added a pinch of cinnamon too)

The amounts were in a link... I think it was THIS ONE that I used...

Yummy stuff!

I'm going to try this tomorrow.

I don't have any coconut oil or milk. I will pick them up tomorrow.

I could use some immune booster.

How are the rest of the family?

Everyone is good thanks.
Some Slight sniffles all round, but I've been trying to avoid passing on this horrible bug, so I've been keeping myself to myself and sleeping in the spare room!
No Fun Whatsoever!!

The boys are just great.
Doing well at skool!
Full of beans.
Wee Dougie keeps asking me to set up my drum kit in the house so he can have a bash!
(Yeah, like I really feel like listening to THAT on top of my already thumping head!!!!!)

LOL!!!!

Oh come on Dad!!!!!!

Drums were a NOT in my house. The boys had a mancave over at the shop, so I would ship them off over there.

It was best for everyone. LOL!!! I didn't want to go to jail.

I've set them up in the house before, and will do so again once I'm better!
(We're lucky to live in a solid house in a remote quiet village, with nice neighbours who claim not to hear a thing!!!)
I'm very lucky really.
Who played drums in your family?

My older one was starting to get into them. Jim loved to get on them and beat the life out them. Heavy Metal.

He was actually pretty good. I did enjoy it.

They were left back in Illinios. It was a good set, But I can't remember the brand. Pevey popped into my head, but they only make electronic's right?

Peavey?
Not known for their drums, good PA and speakers...

Pearl maybe?

(That's my main kit brand too!)

It's ok, I wouldn't expect a woman to know the difference!!!

Watch it sweety...... We don't want you to get sicker.

LOL!!!!!

That's what I thought. Yea, they might have been Pearl. I haven't seen them in so long I can't remember.

HAha, The only thing I can really remember about them is, they had thrown a pillow and a stuffed green dragon inside the drum. And when you would sit and watch and listen, there was that goofy dragon staring at you.
