That was awesome! Between your entry and our other Sheddites and other members, there is no way I am entering this contest! I couldn't come close to that kind of competition! LOL I know it's all about the fun and all, but after reading some of those stories, I couldn't imagine coming up with anything as imaginative and creative! Well done!

I think I must have been thinking about your Shed story when I started writing. My Gnome is "Garod" (had NO clue where that came from!)...then I see your "Garren"...was that a subconscious theft?

Cody, we've had that cold/flu thingy-that-won't-die here too. After about 6 weeks, we figured it was the apocalyptic-zombie-flu-of-no-death. (conspiracy theorists are weird, eh?)

Hey...hi!
Umm, yeah actually. Sometimes I sit around The Shed all day eating mini donuts...get kinda covered in crumbs...they get in my hair....(these are 'grubby' days when I'm eating my emotions and spending all day in my pajamas)

For sure Night

We've shifted focus on the area again, there's a town called Bedford that's still only about half an hour's drive from work that's cheap, our dilemma is whether to stay near here and invest for the future (the sensible thing) or go somewhere cheaper and nicer for the next 15 years or so.

I think we're erring on the side of being happy, less money in the future but 15 years of happiness if that makes sense ? We found a place today for £200,000 with massive potential, but 15 years of fighting for a parking space, we ended up in the local pub and discussed it with a few locals, they all said nice area.........................If you can park.

That stress I can do without

I think next weekend will be a teller, a massive effort of house hunting is being undertaken, we just need that place that we walk into and feel we are home. Where our souls feel cozy and comfy, where Moddy gets his lazy arse off the celestial platform and says "Meh I told you to trust me"

If that makes sense

Wow Cody. That pricetag would buy you a HUGE executive home with attached triple garage & pool around here!

I know a lot of people who commute 1-5 hours daily, to work and back home. (to afford a certain kind of home on a certain income...or because there are no jobs closer to home).

Sometimes I just notice really huge differences between our countries. (well size is obvious, lol)

Ugh...sorry, the phone rang and I lost my train of thought now!

It's a 2 bedroom place here, generally that needs investment

All I ask for is enough space to live, to grow food, and have space for a fire pit.

People would read mine and yawn or leave after a few sentences, or give me a pity star and flag. LOL Just thinking about it my mind is protesting and going blank.
