This may be one version of "The Shed" perhaps? A Viking longhouse.

And it was my tenth anniversary on ATS yesterday.

Just thought I'd say it has been a wonderful ride. You are all fabulous.

There are many versions of the Shed as it is a magical place and can be anything you want it to be.

Happy ATS Anniversary to you! Ten years, wow! Awesome!!

This is one of the many rooms we have here and I have it set up for a little party for you.
The Pixies have been cooking all day and the faeries have been busy cleaning up after them.

CONGRATS! to WIS!

Well Done You.

We had our first SNOW of the season last night. Just a light dusting but the temperature has dropped about 10 degrees!!!
(Well, that's what it feels like anyway!)

I actually quite like the fresh snow, but I hate it when it gets all mushy and slushy!!

I think I'm having a quiet weekend AT HOME for a change!!!
What am I going to do?????

OK, I'm on Coffee duty in the Shed!

The fire is set and stoked up, coffee pot is on the stove... should I make pancakes????
Oh!! did anyone try making my Tattie Scones yet???

Whatever you're up to - have a great weekend!

He is in Oz mate. Sth. Aus. I think ... 14 million miles from the snow capped alps in our Sth. East.

Your snow to us - is like our sun and beaches to you - desirable, far flung and expensive as all get out !

Hasn't snowed around here yet. Days aren't too bad, but cold at night. I'll take some of that coffee please!

Hello everyone! Hope your day goes well!

Hiya Syx! You and the others can keep your snow until Christmas.

Since we are going to eat for Thanksgiving, I'm cooking me a nice turkey and all the fixings today because when you go out, you don't get any left overs. I LOVE turkey. Maybe by Thanksgiving I'll order something other than turkey. LOL

Mashed up carrots and turnip together, made the mashed potatoes and bread stuffing. Turkey is still cooking. Later it will be the gravy, whole cranberry sauce, asparagus and corn. Forgot to make meat stuffing, but that's ok.
YUM!

Hello is anybody out there???

Oh how nice! I'm sure you'll have a great time!

Just made a bowl with regular whole cranberries and one with whole cranberries I mixed with mandarin oranges, ground clove, brown sugar and walnuts. I should open a can of peas too. Man, I haven't stopped all day! LOL

Seeing as the weather went downhill rather quickly, I'm online for the rest of the night.

If I go by what I can see on my balcony, I'd say my area has about 6 inches of snow. I did all my running around this morning, and by about noon or so, the roads by me were pretty bad (there were people slipping).

I did make some hot cider though, and if anyone wants the recipe, it's below.

Ingredients:
1. Half an orange (in slices)
2. Cider (either made from scratch or bought - Organic/From a non-generic farm always tastes better). Or...Hard Cider.
3. Your favorite spices (I did cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger for a tiny trace of spiciness).

Add the cider on low/low-medium heat, and add the spices right away. Once it starts to simmer, turn down the heat, and add orange slices. When you can smell the cider, it's ready to be served. Perfect for a night like tonight.

Thank You all for your congrats. Ten years is a long time for any thing for me, I am a wandering wonderer.

Please have a seat by my hearth and I will serve you what ever your heart desires. Perhaps we could have a potluck (a very silly American term).
I will though begin with lovely Gloeg and Appledelights two very Danish things. The Gloeg is red wine seasoned with cinnamon, clove, raisins, sugar and if one has the taste "Snaps" I prefer it with out.
The Apple thingies are, hard to bake from a pancake like dough, terribly delicious round "pancakes" with a slice of apple inside, dipped in powdered sugar and jam eaten with your fingers. Utensils are forbidden.

Gordi Perhaps you would entertain with a reel. or is that Irish? A song would be lovely.
Foss Your brew sounds lovely, please bring some.
Night Such a beautiful door. I did see the original interior of the shed before. I thought we perhaps all could have our own imaginary Shed inside the "Shed".
This is a very friendly place Dear, Good Job, and thanks for the invite.
Cody Thank You, no snow here yet, thank God, I H A T E shoveling. I did get a cord of wood today so all is good.
SyxPak So many inches you must be "below the belt" Thank You for the welcome.
Phoenix You wrote a nice reply in my dog thread. My bucket list is "Keep the Fire Burn'n" .

Nice door Night !

But I suggest a leaf blower, as it looks like a deciduous and we don't want mulch on the door step.

Perhaps a perimeter of outward facing nozzles from the base of the shed.

These nozzles ( good word that ) can be of multiple service, ie:

Blast air for leaf blower effect.
Blast roach/termite spray.
Blast fire and or teargas .

Dragons will need a transponder chip ...

foss, I'll have some cider!

Walkin, those things sounds so yummy, I'll sit by your hearth! Oh yes, we all do have our own imaginary shed inside the shed. Remember, it is a magical place so anything goes. Outside it only looks small, but inside the rooms are endless and in every style you can imagine. I prefer the castle look and gothic stuff, sometimes something homey and whimsical. It depends on the mood of course. One room has murals of the ocean or woodland scenes on the walls and clouds or stars painted on the ceilings. We have wooden dragon tables and candle sconces on the walls. Like I said, anything goes and we can all pick and choose as we please when we please.

Timely, LOL! Whatever you feel we need, by all means, bring it in!

Found this unicorn roaming around outside. He is all ready for Christmas. A little early, but he looks so pretty!
