I wonder if anyone here would like to narrate the story, recording it on YouTube an audio book!

I am a slow reader sometimes, and I found I really like listening to audio books.

Did you ever try using Spreed? It has really helped me to read faster.

Hiya Bug! Hello everyone!

“So would you like to hear some stories? Mom has been telling you how to survive, let me tell you what’s really out there waiting for you.” Remy asked one night as we were sitting out by the fire.

“What’s out there waiting?” I ask with a quiver to my voice. “In all my weeks here everyone has been so kind and welcoming. I find it hard to imagine anything could be waiting.”

I sound way more confidant that I feel. As I speak I try to see into the shadows surrounding us. Who knows what could be beyond the reach of the fire light. Lions…. And tigers…. And bears… Oh my! But the scary part, is what I can’t think of. The lions, tigers, and bears are probably the ones that will join The CCs; it’s everything ELSE out there!

“Now don’t misunderstand Martin, we are a very loving and kind world; but if you do not follow the rules, you will have to pay the consequences.” Remy draws the sentence out. It’s almost as if he is trying to get me all worked up. I look to Jala to stop this silliness but instead she looks serious, intent.

“Oh no! What if I have already broken rules that I do not even know exist! They could be waiting for me right now!” I screech as I hop up to look around, as if I would suddenly be able to see the monsters hiding in the shadows.

Remy laughs, no, Remy rolls tears streaming down his purple face. I am shocked! Not that he has pulled my leg so badly but that Jala has allowed this! I stomp my foot and yell his name to get him back under control. “Remy, you furry fool! How dare you spook me like that with silly nonsense!”

“Martin, Remy takes it lightly but there are rules that must be followed in order to maintain balance. We take them for granted because it is what we do and we would never think of doing otherwise. In this way we live without rules, for the only rules are ones we must follow to live.” Jala tells me with a soft but serious face. “At no time can we let our story end. For us it is simple, if the story ends then we too come to an end. However the New Beings are different. You may leave the story and go on without us; we need the New Beings to survive. We have a powerful white bear, CC, that helps to maintain the stories flow. So far she has never had to step in but if needed I hear she starts with your toes!”

So now as I lay in bed waiting for slumber to find me; I can’t help but wonder. Is there really a great white bear that protects this story from ever ending?

Thank you so much!! I haven't written in years and have forgotten how much I enjoyed it. I may be hogging the pages a bit but I'm getting ready to head out for our Anniv trip so I figure I better get in my quota so CC doesn't come looking for my toes!

I haven't commented on your new kitty yet...she is gorgeous! I am sooo happy for you that you have her!!

I know how you wanted one, but didn't think it was a possibility, as I too am longing to get a cat (or dog,) lately!

I love that breed of cat, well I love all cats,lol, but I notice a difference in the personalities of some cats, they seem very intelligent and affectionate.

I love the name you chose. It's so pretty and unique.

I am really loving everyone's story additions! I am still thinking of some ideas to jump in!

Thanks and hello there neighbor!! I should have expected that to happen but it was the day it happened that got me as she passed away on April 1st. Actually, my mother and my step-father were the only two that moved out. My brother and I got the house and everything is coming together slowly but surely. I love watching the trains roll by my house. Doesn't hurt that I make money taking the videos with my Adsense account.

It's not very often that you meet other people on here from your own state! I am about five to six miles southeast from Charleston along Route 61. Great Scott Marty!! I'm only 88 miles from Princeton off the Turnpike!! Yes, it is indeed a small world. No matter what part of the world you're in.

They had walked for days being shown various forms of plant and animal life. Hugo had also revealed the secret of portals, like they had on her previous world and where to find them. In the forest, they were found through trees, trees that had a door on the front of them and symbols depicting where you would end up. These trees were huge and you could wander through rooms inside of them. In one of the rooms you would find the portal. In some of them, there were beings that actually lived inside.

Night Star noticed that Hugo had gone missing without a word. "Where the hell did he go?" She asked Storm. Before he could answer a strange voice came from a branch overhead. "Gone!" Night saw that they had crows here too only this one had a crown of purple feathers atop his shiny black head. "Gone where?" She asked. "Gone away!" It replied and cocked his head and eyed her with its beady black eyes. The elf rolled her eyes. "I can see we're going to get a lot out of you oh wise one." She joked. The pixie flew up to sit beside the bird. "I am Pesky, what is your name?" The crow hopped away a bit, wanting more space between them. "Leela. I am Leela. Leeeeeeela." "Did you see where Hugo went Leela?" Asked the pixie. The shiny bird cocked her head again and blinked her liquid black eyes. "Here, then gone, just gone!"

Storm leaned in toward the tall tree. "Did Hugo disappear into thin air?" Leela's wings fluttered for a moment. "Into...somewhere." Night Star sighed. "Great, now what are we supposed to do?" The pretty bird jumped around on the branch and cawed. "Beware the night things." The elf was concerned. "What...things? "The things that come out in the dark." With that, the purple crowned crow flew off leaving them confused and frightened. It was nearing dusk and they decided to make camp. The elf, dragon, wolf and pixie huddled together, tired yet guarded.

It's been a while, because nothing is ever simple, and life is ever changing. However, one thing that has not changed, is my ability to infrequently, and randomly spit out a series of interconnected sentences, which form paragraphs, which, in turn, become story like in their aspect.
