To quote Mr. Bale, "Oh, good for you!".

If someone breaks into my home I will deal with it my way, you can deal with your way.

This is just wrong.

I have a friend that used to be a 911 operator.

He can't count the times that someone has called him from a closet in fear for their lives while someone was breaking in.

And he wished they had a gun to defend themselves.

Yep worked for the VA State Police for a few years in the radio OPs. 911 is great for calling in the cleanup crews. .... Not so much in stopping the crime.

GOOD post.

UMM 10 day waiting period for your new car?

Never once seen a gun load itself, walk out side and to the store and then shot someone.

Sense you seem to be the cold steel British expert here, just a question in line with some of the comments so far.

Seems to me from reading that the knife crime seems to have taken a sharp rise over the past few years over there.

So would this be the criminals moving from the less available guns to knifes?

Could be.

Personally speaking though, where I live, it has been a long , LONG time since I was last approached with a blade, or anything else for that matter.

Frankly, the law in this country about going about armed for defensive purposes is a joke, in that one may not, generally speaking, have anything about ones person that could reasonably be used to effectively protect oneself in the event of a serious incident.

It's against federal law to set up a storefront advertising guns for sale without a FFL, regardless if you actually sell any guns or not and the 30 rnd mag in the back of the video is illegal in NY as well. Will they be prosecuted for breaking gun control laws or are liberal activists exempt form the same laws they push?

Excellent call out!

I am no internet ninja ...
Can I take on a marine, hell if I know...lol. I do think military personal of all countries think to highly of themselves though. Does make me laugh though, when your cowardice is outed and you start posting in an effort to belittle those of us who can see it. Like I said...if you are disabled, elderly, sick, small or simply a coward then keep your guns.

The belittling and bullying comes from the Anti-2nd crowd. Want to see an example of this? Watch the video.
SO, only certain groups are okay to have a firearm. All others, must wage combat via fist against people that aren't obeying the law in the first place. What a genius statement.

I am just stating facts. It is true...if your entire safety is dependent on guns..then it would be wise to stay out of other countries..you will just end up getting your butt handed to you.

Yes, much toughness. Such manliness.
Not one person has stated that they solely rely on firearms. Oh.....you and other Anti-2nd people do.

It is too late for America to do anything about guns..any common sense laws would truly have no effect.

Yes, the "common sense law" thing. I guess you get talking points from Bloomberg and Giffords.
Please, explain common sense laws.

The ease of gun purchase there has made it one of the Utopia's for criminals. Other places where guns are easily available also have criminals running the show. The difference is..America is supposed to be a civilized country..yet crime is exactly like a third world country.

That is one of the most moronic statements ever put forth in this thread.
Criminals don't purchase the lawful way. SOoooo, the laws are moot.
Criminals don't "run the show" here .
And since when did "civilized" mean not being armed?
Man, you Progressives sure do like to redefine stuff.

You know how rare it is for mass shootings in Canada, death from a crime or simply being a victim of violent crime..very. Yes, it happens but we are not living in fear like people do in America.

Regardless if it is rare or not, it still happens.
And, I carry any number of 45scp pistols everywhere I go. I am not int he least bit scared.

Gun advocates love to put bring up a story here and there of bad instance of crime in other countries where common sense gun laws prevail..but guess what..for every single story you bring up..we can match your story but also have more to go along with them.

That BS mantra of "common sense gun laws" again.
Great, tit for tat. Lets see it.
Oh, also include the amount of crimes stopped and thwarted due to an armed citizen please.

If guns made the world safe...America should be one of the safest..it isn't...

Outside of the gun control havens like Chicago, NY, LA and such, America is about as safe as any other country.

originally posted by: Onslaught2996
you not only have to worry about criminals but also regular citizens. It is worse from citizens...because you have no idea what to expect from them.

The only people worried about fellow law abiding citizens being armed are those that are Anti-2nd and foreigners .
And your last statement is the icing on the cake. YOU are the one with problems of the unknown. So, since you fear the unknown, please stay within the confines of Canada. You are much much much safer there.

originally posted by: Onslaught2996
Could a movement from you instill fear in them and then they feel the need to use a gun, an argument gets out of hand..etc, because cowards have no boundaries...the instant they feel fear....they grab the nearest item for protection.

I do like the labeling of gun owners are cowards.
And, just like in Canada, an argument can get out of hand and people can become violent, just like any other human on earth.

originally posted by: Onslaught2996
In Canada...don't talk sh*t if you are unable or unwilling to back it up. In America a coward has protection and can talk all the crap they want..because they got a gun to bail them out.

Yes, the Canadian internet tough guy perpetuating the tough Canadian mystic.

America asks.."we are being bombarded with immigrants criminals ..why" because you can have it all in America, without the third world conditions, guns, crime, mayhem, it is a criminal Utopia.

You have got to be kidding me.
Illegals are coming here because the Fed Govt as a whole gives away every life based freebie that one could think of. And it has yet to secure the borders.

Then you're a better man than me. I would walk to the corner, turn around, take a dump while smiling and THEN walk out. But I like leaving an impression

Because prayer and nativity scenes are intrinsically American? Yikes. Calling people anti-American because they don't agree with you on a particular issue like gun control is pretty anti-American in my opinion.

Well, actually, prayer and nativity scenes are intrinsically American...the right to do both is contained and spelled out (under the freedom to exercise your religion) in the Constitution of the United States of America.

Implying that they're not is pretty anti-honest in my opinion. Yikes.

The libtards are desperate and grasping at straws. There should be some way to prosecute them because I'm positive they've broken at least ten laws in this police state that the U.S. has become.

Where is the opposite advice, about each gun.

How the great american army defend their great nation with specific models.

The guns used by the NYPD to protect and to serve.

The many victims that defend themselves in their own homes.

This is BS.

I get it, there are people that don't like guns. There are people that disrespect the gun and use it illegally. But there are a lot of people out there, who responsibly use the gun with respect.

Did a hardware store warn people when buying pressure cookers that a kid used it for the boston bombing?

Or that rope, kitchen knives and other house hold objects were used in criminal activity.

Why can a gun be used to protect a nation, yet not a home?

I am not anti gun..I am anti idiots owning ones.

The people who think they can settle everything with guns. The ones who would not think twice about killing another human being. The ones who value material objects over human life. The ones who feel there is only one option when it comes to people who threaten them..instead of scaring them off.

I'm not anti speech. . . I am anti idiots speaking.

Hmmm. sounds a bit different when it's put this way, since we're talking about rights and all.
