interesting read:Apartheid Forever: Israel’s Netanyahu rules out Palestinian Citizenship Rights

Millions of Palestinians whose families were violently expelled from their homes by Jewish settlers in Mandate Palestine in 1947-48 remain stateless. These include the people of Gaza, the West Bank (four million) and a million or more in diasporas in Lebanon, Syria, and other countries.

The Palestinians are the last major stateless population.[..] Their situation in some ways resembles slavery, since slaves also were denied the rights of citizenship.

If Palestinians assemble peacefully to protest the loss of their farms to ever-expanding squatter settlements, the Israel army arrests them, including, often, children, who are taken away from their families and put in jail. Palestinians can be held for long periods without being charged. The prisoners are sometimes tortured.

[..]The Palestinians are not a security challenge– they are like the guard at a bank getting in the way of bank robbers.

it is shameful to have Israel preside over 4 million stateless people forever. This is Apartheid. And Netanyahu has just made Apartheid the official policy of Israel [..] The only fig leaf Israel had for its Apartheid was the farce of the “peace process” and a pro forma ritual invocation of a “future Palestinian state.” Now Netanyahu has ripped off the fig leaf and stands naked before the world.

and western media (with my countrie included) stays silent...

I do not understand why people will go around stating "things" as facts instead of doing the research and a quick study of history. As stated before , the Palestinians were given land in Egypt for a Palestinian state. The Nation of Israel was given to the people as an Israeli state by the UN.The portion of land was ceded by Israel to the Palestinian people due to no other Middle Eastern state could keep them in their country for the exact reasons you see today.

"the land" is not a country. Its another descriptor for area. ANd Who respected the belfour declaration? It was under turkeys rule and as such was not the arabs to keep.

If it was under Turkey's rule then how was Britain able to give it away? Well Israel certainly hasn't respected the Balfour declaration.

They GAVE IT AWAY. you know how you give something away when you dont need it anymore?

What is funny about those who claim Palestine was never a country, is the fact that ISRAEL was never a country EITHER.

Since I'm not here just saying, I will leave some of the UN resolutions violated by Israel about illegal land grab, since 1950, and on going...

The impunity of Israel violations of the International Law is so outrageous, it contradicts their "victim status quo" by far.

Res. 89 (Nov. 17, 1950); Res. 242 (Nov. 22, 1967) ; Res. 252 (May 21, 1968); Res. 267 (Jul. 3, 1969); Res. 271 (Sep. 15, 1969); Res. 298 (Sep. 25, 1971); Res. 446 (Mar. 22, 1979); Res. 452 (Jul. 20, 1979); Res. 465 (Mar. 1, 1980); Res. 469 (May 20, 1980); Res. 471 (Jun. 5, 1980); Res. 476 (Jun. 30, 1980); Res. 478 (Aug. 20, 1980); Res. 497 (Dec. 17, 1981); Res. 592 (Dec. 8, 1986); Res. 605 (Dec. 22, 1987); Res. 607 (Jan. 5, 1988); Res. 608 (Jan. 14, 1988); Res. 636 (Jul. 6, 1989); Res. 641 (Aug. 30, 1989); Res. 681 (Dec. 20, 1990); Res. 694 (May 24, 1991); Res. 726 (Jan. 6, 1992); Res. 799 (Dec. 18, 1992); Res. 1435 (Sep. 24, 2002); Res. 1544 (May 19, 2004); Res. 1860 (Jan. 8, 2009).
Israeli Violations of U.N. Security Council Resolutions

I will transcript just 2 from the... all of them goes around the same though:

Res. 89 (Nov. 17, 1950): Expresses its conviction that the maintenance of the General Armistice Agreement is threatened by any deliberate violation of that Agreement by one of the parties to it, and that no progress towards the return of permanent peace in Palestine can be made unless the parties comply strictly with their obligations under the General Armistice Agreement and the cease-fire provisions of its resolution 54 (1948)

Res. 89 (Nov. 17, 1950)

Res. 242 (Nov. 22, 1967): Emphasizes “the inadmissibility of the acquisition of territory by war”, emphasizes that member states have a commitment to abide by the U.N. Charter, and calls for the “Withdrawal of Israeli armed forces from territories occupied” during the June 1967 war

Res. 242 (Nov. 22, 1967)

Of course, the references here, were only to the massive land grave in course. I left out all the other violations, such as terrorist attacks, invasions of sovereign countries, collective punishment, racism, massacre of civilians, abduction, support of armed groups, assassination attempts, deportations, blockades, imprisonment and the continued flagrant violations of the Fourth Geneva Convention. All of this officially recognized and register by the United Nation and the "civilized world".

Wrong. it existed right beside JUDEA. Look it up.

In the fifth century BC, the region of eastern coast of the Mediterranean started being called as “the Philistine Syria”, a term coined by the Greek historian, Herodotus and used in its Greek language form. In AD 135, the Emperor Hadrian blotted out the name “Provincia Judea” and renamed it “Provincia Syria Palaestina”. This was the Latin version of the Greek name and soon became a name to be used as an administrative unit. This name was shortened to Palaestina and the name “Palestine” was derived from it as a modern and anglicized version.

No changes occurred to this name until after the fourth century had passed when Palestine was divided in to three regions, following the imperial reorganization. The name Palestine was used by the Christian Crusades to regard all three of the divided regions in general and continued to be used for the regions on both sides of the Jordan River in general. Palestine went under the rule of the Ottoman Turks for 400 years where its administration was attached to Damascus. After the fall of the Ottoman Empire in World War I, the name Palestine was revived and was applied to the land falling under the British Mandate for Palestine. Arabs use the name “Falastin” for Palestine which is an Arab pronunciation of the Roman word “Palaestina.”

If Netanyahu loses let Israel and the world leaders learn the hard way.Jews will get mass murdered by radical muslims when a Palestine State is formed and goes to war with Israel. Then Israel will wipe out Palestine, Hamas and Hezbollah once and for all.Like people cannot get it through their heads that radical islam will not change and will do all they can to destroy Israel.

You cannot tell hardheads or make them learn anything about radical muslims for nothing.Just let them learn the hard way.Iran will have a nuke and then all hell will break out with middle east nuclear arms race. How many times we warn of WW3 or Battle of Armageddon goes straight through their ears and out the other. They just do not understand.

The illegal and physical land grab, started as follows:
The partitioning of the Ottoman Empire (30 October 1918 – 1 November 1922) was a political event that occurred after World War I.

At the time US, UK and France were disputing the modern time colonialism for the region, after turkey's fall.
The United Kingdom was granted control of Palestine by the Versailles Peace Conference which established the League of Nations in 1919.

Herbert Samuel, a former Postmaster General in the British cabinet who was instrumental in drafting the Balfour Declaration, was appointed the first High Commissioner in Palestine.

Herbert Louis Samuel, 1st Viscount Samuel was the first nominally practising Jew to serve as a Cabinet minister and to become the leader of a major British political party and the last member of the Liberal Party to hold one of the four Great Offices of State.

He put forward the idea of establishing a British Protectorate over Palestine in 1915 and his ideas influenced the Balfour Declaration.

Two months after Britain's declaration of war on the Ottoman Empire in November 1914, Samuel circulated a memorandum entitled The Future of Palestine to his cabinet colleagues, suggesting that Palestine become a home for the Jewish people under the British Rule.

The memorandum stated that "I am assured that the solution of the problem of Palestine which would be much the most welcome to the leaders and supporters of the Zionist movement throughout the world would be the annexation of the country to the British Empire".

He was appointed to the position of High Commissioner in 1920, before the Council of the League of Nations approved a British mandate for Palestine. [..] He served as High Commissioner until 1925.

While the Zionists welcomed the appointment of a Zionist Jew to the post, the military government, headed by Allenby and Bols, called Samuel's appointment "highly dangerous" [..] the appointment was illegal, in that a civil administration that would compel the inhabitants of an occupied country to express their allegiance to it before a formal peace treaty (with Turkey) was signed, was in violation of both military law and the Hague Convention [..]

Bols said the news was received with '(c)onsternation, despondency and exasperation' by the Moslem [and] Christian population ... They are convinced that he will be a partisan Zionist and that he represents a Jewish and not a British Government.

The Muslim-Christian Association had sent a telegram to Bols:

'Sir Herbert Samuel regarded as a Zionist leader, and his appointment as first step in formation of Zionist national home in the midst of Arab people contrary to their wishes. Inhabitants cannot recognize him, and Muslim-Christian Society cannot accept responsibility for riots or other disturbances of peace'.

the Morning Post wrote that 'Sir Herbert Samuel's appointment as High Commissioner was regarded by everyone, except Jews, as a serious mistake.

The King–Crane Commission officially called the 1919 Inter-Allied Commission on Mandates in Turkey, was an official investigation by the United States government concerning the disposition of non-Turkish areas within the former Ottoman Empire.

In respect to the creation of a Jewish state in the Middle East, the report cautioned "Not only you as president but the American people as a whole should realize that if the American government decided to support the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine, they are committing the American people to the use of force in that area, since only by force can a Jewish state in Palestine be established or maintained." [..]

The report noted that there is a principle that the wishes of the local population must be taken into account and that there is widespread anti-Zionist feeling in Palestine and Syria, and the holy nature of the land to Christians and Moslems as well as Jews must preclude solely Jewish dominion. It also noted that Jews at that time comprised only 10% of the population of Palestine.

As you see, the "Jewish state" (Israel) was impose by force over the natives living in the region, since 1920 to 1948. Before that, there was only the ottoman empire that lost the war and, only, in 29 November of 1947, the U.Nations established a Plan of Partition with Economic Union of Palestine were it defined the «Independent Arab and Jewish States and the Special International Regime for the City of Jerusalem» that is being violated by Israelis ever since, with the full support of the United States.

Right on. Palestinians = displaced arabs. They can go home anytime they want; back to Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, etc. Plenty of room for them there.

This whole farce exists only to deny Israel the right to be its own nation.

No. You and those that think like you are the brainwashed ones.

The Palestinians are treated like cattle. Israel controls the territories with an Iron fist. They turn off power, water, aid, food supply, money. The treat them like second class citizens.

If I was treated like that, I would fight back and make war with Israel too. So would you and you're lying to yourself if you think you wouldn't fight back against that type of oppression.

Then Israel kills hundreds of children, blows up schools and hospitals and creates more settlements on what is supposed to be Palestinian land and fights hard against any attempt for the Palestinians to do things the right way, with international courts and UN organizations.

You wonder why there is Hamas and the PLO and Hezbollah. Why do these groups recruit so well? It's because the angry youth have nowhere to go and nothing to do and terrorism appears to be the only thing they can do to fight back.

I agree that Israel either needs to start treating the Palestinians like equal citizens or they get their own state. Israel needs to protect themselves but they can't keep oppressing the Palestinians.

Do some research. Look up the rights the Palestinians have in Israel, the settlements, the wars, the power, the water, the food, the aid....

It's like a bad Sci Fi movie...have you ever seen Snowpiercer ..where the second class citizens are put on the back of the train, given just enough to live...just enough food, water and medical supplies...but not very good food. Meanwhile the elite in the front of the train get al the fresh fruit, music, freedom...education...everything. And they wonder why the less thans, revolt and kill them all in the end.

It's like that.

That's not quite true though. Most of the people living in the Palestinian territories where born there...this is their home. Israel has been a nation since 1948 or about 67 years. This is their home. The right thing to do would be to treat them like humans.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyhau said Monday that if he were to be reelected, a Palestinian state would not be created, in a definite disavowal of his 2009 speech, in which he had voiced support for the principle of two states for two peoples.

Well the warmongering Netanyahooooooo shows his true colors, anyone surprised? Clearly peace and a two state solution was never apart of his plans, he needs war and fear to keep him in power. If Israel continues to vote for him then they should expect more rockets of fail to be flung their way.

Voting for him is voting for more violence.

Circumstances change. If the Palestinian leaders wanted two states, they'd already have it. The problem is that the Palestinian leaders do not want their own state (the people seem to, but the leaders do not); they want the entire geographic region. I don't see anything wrong with Netanyahu changing his position at this time.

I know some people will call me a Zionist, but in this case I see no problem with what Netanyahu is doing. It isn't dishonest or disingenuous; it's just a change in circumstances. The offer was never received before, why extend it once again?

I reject your reality and my previous postings stand. The land was given to the british and they did as they saw fit. ALso according to research these "natives" are not native at all but refugees.

You are just wrong. Afaratt and the PLO back this up with their statements they had made. Look it up. No palestinians were related to the cannanites or the philistines.

All of this dates back to the twelve tribes of Israel and Abraham,Jacob and Isaac.Abraham was promised the convenant of Israel.Ishmual was a cast out that hated jews over this.
The seeds have grown to hate jews ever since it happened and when Jesus Christ was handed over to the Romans to be crucified by the jews and Pharisees.Just the way it is.I just do not understand why people think this is all fake stuff.

All of this that invovles Israel will end up in The Battle of Armageddon whether we believe it is real or not.All the political power is motivated over Israel.
Keeps growing for those who oppose Israel and those who are for Israel.

Mostly a christian and muslim war and the christians backing the jews and the oil industry and economic warfare as well as Russia and China siding with Islamic nations over anything Israel says.

So the masons are correct, in that it will take these religions to destroy each other before we are finally rid of their stupidity!!

ALL the religions want it, ALL of them are told to do it, and ALL of them will be shocked that they ALL LOSE.

Frankly this is very refreshing, and nice to hear.

But , if you go straight by religous information , they do have a point. Remember up to the time of Father Abraham the Holy books , the Quran, Torah, and the Old Testament were in lockstep. And if you recall the story , Abraham was fooled by Sarah into believing that Isaac was Ishmael . By the very Hebrew laws of the time , all lands and possessions should go to the eldest son which was in fact Ishmael.

Netanyahu has basically said that peace talks are a complete waste of time, he'll never accept Palestinians.

He has been saying for 25 years that Iran is "2 - 3 years away from getting a nuclear weapon".

Why does the United States insist on supporting Israel? When South Africa had apartheid in place, the world placed sanctions on their Government.

In Israel's case, any vote bought to the UN to censure or sanction Israel will be vetoed by the United States.

It's time for the world to see the leaders of Israel for the war criminals that they have become.
