MSM reports appearing.

No, the Kremlin is not on fire but Novodevichy Convent is in Moscow
Live footage of Moscow led some to believe the Kremlin was on fire, but it was the Novodevichy Convent that was ablaze

One of Moscow's big monasteries - Novodevichy Convent, also known as Bogoroditse-Smolensky Monastery, is on fire.
Initially, many speculated on Twitter that it was the Kremlin after a live feed showed the monastery ablaze.
It is currently undergoing major repairs and it initially looked like one of the scaffolding-covered towers went up in flames.

within the Kremlin

Novodevichy Convent, also known as Bogoroditse-Smolensky Monastery (Russian: Новоде́вичий монасты́рь, Богоро́дице-Смоле́нский монасты́рь), is probably the best-known cloister of Moscow. Its name, sometimes translated as the New Maidens' Monastery, was devised to differ from an ancient maidens' convent within the Moscow Kremlin. Unlike other Moscow cloisters, it has remained virtually intact since the 17th century. In 2004, it was proclaimed a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Wiki

Again when you read this line "Its name, sometimes translated as the New Maidens' Monastery, was devised to differ from an ancient maidens' convent within the Moscow Kremlin" it doesn't say New Maiden's Monastery is within the Kremlin.

It says it was devised to differ from an ancient maidens' convent within the kremlin meaning that the other convent is within the kremlin.

Yes, it says it as designed to DIFFER FROM the Kremlin, not within the Kremlin.

Another pic of the fire from a different perspective (also showing the obviously white walls).

The wiki article wording could be better but it appears it is not within the Kremlin but made to differ from a monastery in the Kremlin.

So basically..

You have made your mind up and no amount of info or proof is going to change it.

Hopefully it was just the scaffolding and not the actual structure, the interior or artefacts.

Well, regardless, it's not the Kremlin, still concerning though given the current circumstances.

I walk away from ATS for an hour and now there's a big fire?!! Is it inside the Kremlin or not? This is very confusing!

No but then I would ask why a camera that is pointing at the Kremlin shows a building 4kms away. If you can answer that I'll shut up.

It's novodevichy convent 5-6 km from the Kremlin, where is the Kremlin palace in the pic of the fire? Where is the secret tower? Where is archangel and assumption cathedrals?

It is most definitely NOT Ivan that's on fire. Nor is the convent on the Kremlin compound.

Notice on the top right of the map, is the Kremlin.

On the bottom left, is the convent.

Well Occam would say it's the fact that it is a huge monastery tower that is on fire so the camera was pointed towards it.

Simple. The camera is not pointing at the Kremlin.
