Just because a picture was posted on the internet three days ago does not mean it could not have been taken much earlier. One picture is brighter because it is possible to adjust the brightness of an image at will.

Hmm, the editing / brightness changes would explain the minor pixel differences as well, I imagine.

Since anything can be "modified" at will these days, can't believe nothing one sees.

I know that sounds crazy or like some hand-stalker statement...

But I'm sure his hands are stockier than the one in the picture.

This whole thing is unnerving to say the least.

There has been lots of talk here in the last year or so about Putin and his ever shrinking testicles. It makes me wonder if he really has lost his ability to put the hammer down. The old Russia was an antagonist of sorts in my eyes.

I could totally see him being ejected from power for failure to act on certain problems. Now all of a sudden china is backing Russia financially and calling it help to offset American sanctions that hurt them so bad financially.

Seems like the pawns are in place to me.

I don't think they would really need to go to such lengths though, would they? They could just get some video from any previous meeting, they must have plenty of footage from meetings never previously made public. They could have simply re edited any meeting previously had and claimed it was a new meeting.

I think any deliberate tampering of footage is going to be hard to debunk, they would only be using the most advanced methods and that's unlikely to show pixelation and anything we could pick up on.

I'm going with this being a previous meeting never released, sent out as an attempt to cover his absence in the same way the other proven false reports were.

I right-clicked on the image and selected "search google for this image".

It looks as if there are two images, one where putin is bright, and another where he is a little grey, but aside that, that is the only thing I notice about the images, aside from size differential.

Oh, and all the pictures are from the last 3 days to 8 hours ago. But google only likes to keep catalogs of recent things, not a long history of images. Or so it seems.

I'd love to have a link to the original image. Not a blog-post from the last 72 hours.

Why would the same image be two different colors, if taken from the same camera, unless one is older, and one is newer? (I'm sure there is a logical explanation, but I'm no photographer, so forgive my ignorance here).

I think there's a simple explanation. It just looks like they were taken with different cameras. Like there were multiple photographers taking pictures (as is common), and we're seeing 2 of the pictures of the handshake. Some people can see what model of camera was used to take a picture by looking into that photo's metadata. I'm guessing a look would show it's from 2 different cameras.

IT COULD ONLY BE ESTIMATED THAT A CONTROL FEATURE HAS BEEN IMPLEMENTED..........THAT MEANS SOMEONE LOST CONTROL INTERNALLY.....................HOOOOOORAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY.

Nope, that's just the setting up of the celebrations in Red Square this week, the anniversary of Russia invading and stealing Crimea. This is a very public event and has been promoted by the Kremlin for months.
