Used to think that it was BS when they claimed the military secretly had exotic technology at least 50 years ahead of anything the public experiences or knows about. Man, last May sure changed my mind on that one.

Let's keep this on topic it's a great question...

Mine are the more crazy 911 theories, hollow towers, hologram shrouded missles, directed energy weapons, no planes theory... I don't believe the official story but these crazy 911 theories no longer make me go "HA!" But "Hhhmmmm....".

David Icke's theory about child sex abuse running rampant in British upper echelons of society always made me laugh as a wild conspiracy theory.

TODAY, the British Home Secretary (kind of like the US Attorney General) Theresa May announced a wide ranging investigation, and said that previous allegations are only "the tip of the iceberg" regarding widespread sex abuse cases.

I am honestly blown away by the lack of other ATS members being right on board with your guesstimate!!!!

Now I am not going to exclusively go off of Icke due to the fact that this conspiracy has been theorized by many a researcher, however I was one of the few that I know who read into the Franklin Cover up and said huh, that makes sense! Follow that with the ludicrous amount of Catholic priest accusations, same story for hollywood and than bam Jimmy Saville and the inevitable Royal Family connections on down to their puppet Parliament and to me you have verification of the absolute worst conspiracy possible, one that makes greed laughable by comparison!!

From this point alone we will find proof of all other conspiracies!!

Elvis. I know, sounds stupid. Almost all my life I laughed at the Elvis lives crap. But after a couple threads here that got canned a year or two ago I'm pretty sure he did not die in the late 70's.

Project Monarch. For years, after reading a few, I avoided these types of threads because i was very sure this was the product of schizophrenia and not ritualistic abuse. However, after seeing some of the courtroom testimonies, I fall more along the lines of undecided, rather than no way, these people are nuts.

I'm not surprised by most of the political conspiracies, because the truth is usually more complicated than the conspiracies. For me, the main conspiracies I came around to dealt with racial relations (hey, I'm a black guy. North Korea doesn't worry me, bigots do).

I couldn't believe the stories of "race-targeting weapons" my elders told me until I ran into "the Black Bomb". This was a program concocted in Apartheid South Africa by their Dr. Death, Wouter Basson. It detailed finding ways to kill off the native black people with biological & chemical weapons, including tainting water supplies, undisclosed sterilizations, and airborne pathogens.
www.theguardian.com...
For the record, Australia supposedly had a similar program against the Aboriginals.

And my elders used to tell me about the govt bringing drugs into our communities to destroy the growth brought by integration, but it wasn't until I ran into Gary Webb's "Dark Alliance" that I came around to believing it. There's also the bombshell stories of how HIV came about, from both the SIV-contaminated Polio Vaccines in the Congo & the GRIDS version (Gay Related Immune Deficiency Syndrome, the original American name for AIDS). The more I study Imperialism & the Cold War, the more I'm coming around to believing SIV/HIV was first accidentally transferred to humans, and then it was deliberately unleashed on the Southern African populations.

I mean, modern Homo-Sapiens have been in Africa for at least 160,000-250,000 years with no HIV pandemic. Parts of Western Africa were conquered in the 1500s-1600s through Colonialism (still no HIV pandemic, or else the slaves would've carried it into the New World). Then the rest of Africa except Ethiopia was conquered in the late 1880's during European Imperialism (still no HIV pandemic). The natives kept fighting the occupying forces until they regained their freedom, from the 1950s to 1980 (still no HIV pandemic). However, it's only when the Imperialist nations are kicked out of each respective country that this new super-virus breaks out. People forget that the European occupiers were doing massive genocides on the native Africans throughout Imperialism (up to 10million killed under King Leopold in the Congo, at least 1.5million in the German African colonies, etc). So it wouldn't surprise me in the least if HIV's unleashing was meant to be a scorched earth program, to wipe out the inhabitants so the former colonists' elites could reclaim "their" resources. It's really no different from what the Conquistadors did to the natives they encountered, or what's going on in the Middle East right now, with the constant wars to either kill off the populations or force them to abandon their countries (which leaves the land for the occupying forces & their proxies).

I was only just starting to wake up around 98 - 99 you know questioning my religion and all. Then the big scare over some digits on a computer was going to end the world and that started me questioning everything else. Then it was a couple of years after that I got my first computer and it opened up a whole world of crazy...It was the reptilians and shape shifters that got me going WTF and one guys theory that some actors/musicians got surgery to change their looks but he could tell it was the same person by the shape of their ears.

- Princess Diana murdered. I thought it was just a stupid accident and a drunk driver. Now I think there is a lot more to it and that the palace and TPTB had a hand.

- Johnson had Kennedy murdered. I never bought the story of the lone gunman but I didn't think Johnson was involved. Now I am very sure Johnson had a hand in it.

- Bilderbergs picking who would be POTUS. I knew they had influence but it wasn't until the secret Obama/Clinton meeting that took place - after ditching the press - that I knew they ran things.

I'm not surprised more aren't on board, it's this sort of REAL conspiracy theory that gets ignored thanks to all the noise over the so many fake theories out there.

When I was about 12, my aunt gave me a book (funnily enough, called "Above Top Secret") all about aliens and Government conspiracy theories, and told me specifically "it's important that you know about this stuff".

I really didn't pay it much attention.

A few years later, we tried to get some information about work she did in World War 2. She worked at Bletchley Park under Alan Turing, and we knew that she knew him personally. We know this is the case, and that she would never talk about what she did in the war, only that it was "something important for the Royal Navy".

When my mother (her power of attorney) tried to get info about what she did, we were told it was under a "forever" publication ban, whereas most of Turing's work was declassified after 50 years.

I started reading the book she gave me, and have been "awake" ever since.

When she died, she requested a funeral at sea. We contacted the Royal Navy, who still wouldn't tell us what she did, but in three days organized a frigate, navy officers lining the decks in dress whites, and a full cannon salute from the ship's guns.

Now, what DID she do that warranted that sort of send off for a civilian? We'll probably never know, but she was always amazingly talented at math.

RIP Leonora Westwood (now, let's see if THAT name raises some flags at GCHQ / NSA ! )

Alien Abductions, breakaway civilizations, mind control, psychic camoflauge...

Not so long ago I would not have given these subjects a second thought.

Now? Well, lets just say, though not a True Believer my experiences keep leading me back to these ideas, and I have found I dont immediately scoff anymore.

I still have it, but it's in England with most of my stuff from growing up and I'm in Canada now.

It might have been Timothy Good?

I also look at MOST psychics with contempt and ridicule, because most of them are ridiculous.

However, having been a roommate of a REAL one for over five years, I've seen him do things with energy that I can't explain.

You should have seen the reaction when we went away and he took his REAL crystal ball through airport security. It whited out their screens and blew their entire system when they tried to scan it. TSA won't do that again! TSA agent "oh, is that a REAL one?, it's the only one we've ever seen!"

I also used to parumph whenever I heard ghost stories, but having had many personal experiences now I would have to say I'm a true believer in some sort of afterlife, even if we just turn into energy fields after we die. I've had experiences with simple hauntings and major poltergeists (that could move furniture), as well as unexplained energy fields (ghosts?) reacting v badly to certain stimuli (like alcohol in the house).

After all, it's a physical impossibility to destroy energy, it simply gets converted to other forms, and there is a TON of energy in the human body.
