nothing concrete coming out of the Kremlin or any intelligence sources.

He supposedly spoke to the leader of Kazakhstan (I think) on the phone. Other media reporting on him meeting with the supreme court chief justice is being called into question since it resembles pictures from their meeting in 2014.

The Kremlin announced Putin would be meeting the leader on Monday, however some Russian media outlets reported the meeting already occurred, apparently releasing the story early, which of course has raised questions.


The reports on bleacher being built in red square have been talked about. The most logical possibility there is a celebration of the annexation of Crimea.


There are unconfirmed reports of some mystery announcement coming out of the Kremlin this weekend however, again, not confirmed.

While the thinking part of the world is wondering of what happens with Mr Putin, Russian defense minister Shoigu gives a speech at conference on world security. Isn't it a signal as where the world goes after the current missing episode of Putin?

I was thinking about the assassination / murder of Boris Nemtsov and it got me thinking. The rumors on his death and it being a warning to Putin might have merit. Its entirely possible there are cracks in the inner circle of Putin however its possible Putin is not sure who was behind it so moved to another location to try and determine where the threat is coming from.

There is precedence where other national leaders have done the same thing. Drop off the radar, move around a lot, etc etc.

Speculation of course but it could support the rumors about cabinet changes / new #2 position.

The thread is hardly comical, he's been missing for a week, and they covered him by putting up a supposed video of a meeting that was from March 4. There are numerous world wide rumors, and various news concerning this. No leader leaves his position for a week.

The biggest rumors now is that he and his mistress are in Switzerland and she gave birth. But not done without a cover story at the very least.

The situation is rather serious, and what I hope hasn't happened is a coup, or worse.

If he's not having a child, then what is happening. In order to have fled or not put in appearances, they might have got to him.

There are some of us that consider him a major piece preventing the worst criminals running things from doing their worst.

I assume like OJ Simpson he's out trying to apprehend

the world is a MUCH safer place. Even if the transition is bumpy.

On the "Having a baby" Rumor. I have my doubts because, well why hide it from the people? Also, would it take this long? Same questions might apply to him maybe taking a vacation. I think he's either sick or dead. Him being said to phone another world leader a couple days ago, kind of points to him being sick but still alive. The flu is spreading fast in Moscow, could be that he doesn't want to be seen as having it. Or, it could be something more serious.

Just something else to throw in the mix, I read a report yesterday. Kyiv has actually reported a slowdown in the violence, which is unusual news to hear from them since the daily thing is usually, "More arms cross border" or "New ceasefire violation". Could this be related to Putin's absence?

Are these things usually parked at the Kremlin? They do not appear on Google Earth.

The large pic with many parked cars is OLD. Currently the top tower visible on that pic is covered from all sides for restoration.
I don't know about the other pic - is it from inside the walls?
