Found this oldie but goodie...

Ben Swann Truth in Media takes a look at Vaccine Court established by Congress in 1985 and what that court has meant for families of vaccine injured children. Plus, has HHS secretly awarded families of autistic children damages while publicly stating there is no connection between autism and vaccines.

So yeah...there's that. I know the anti-vaxxer frenzy has simmered down, but something to think about.

If it's already been posted or we're not allowed to now, just can it.

Another oldie, but a goodie.

As the video points out correlation is not causation.

Did you even watch the video?

What's your chart say to you?

Is this a test?

I did watch it! And now I know about the canary group!

You didn't give a summary of the video so I figure the topic is pretty open to interpretation, I love the correlation is not causation line in the video and chose to comment (via a pic) on that.

I only posted it because I ran across it and had forgotten about it and thought people might be interested in seeing it. I added a description.

Vaccine Court Awards Millions to Two Children With Autism

The federal Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, better known as "vaccine court," has just awarded millions of dollars to two children with autism for "pain and suffering" and lifelong care of their injuries, which together could cost tens of millions of dollars.

The government did not admit that vaccines caused autism, at least in one of the children. Both cases were "unpublished," meaning information is limited, and access to medical records and other exhibits is blocked. Much of the information presented here comes from documents found at the vaccine court website.

Hmmm.

Award implies a court ruling. Those are open to public scrutiny so how could it be secret?

Experience has shown most of us that videos posted on ATS are almost invariably hokum. We prefer to get a written summary . If it passes the hokum test, it might be worth watching. Keep in mind that saying, "Lots of good info in this" is not a written summary of contents unless all it contains is a talking head saying, 'Lots of good info in this". IF the video talks about published scientific studies, how about links to those actual studies?

In other words: meaningless.

But why would organic food cause autism? Hasn't organic food been part of the human diet like, forever?

Vaccines on the other hand have been introduced.

You see how the point that you and your little graph are making is terribly skewed?

The point of correlation not equaling causation seems to have eluded you.

No it has not at all. The point of my post has alluded you.

I am saying that with vaccines and autism there is at least a somewhat realistic potential for causation, whereas, with organic food, such a causation would simply not be realistic.

You sure are making a lot of demands.

If you don't want to watch the vid then don't. The OP is not even making claims that would require proof in the form of published scientific studies, and neither is the video.

Furthermore the OP provided an adequate description. Do you demand a full transcript?

I love the correlation is not causation

wow...I guess that's a case closed than. I like how that sentence got you all happy and satisfied, even though it's meaningless. It only says that officially no causation has been admitted or proven...it still does not mean there is none.

Billions and billions and billions of dollars depend on that causation not being proven.

You guys enjoy your vaccines and GMO's...big pharma and Monsanto are looking out for you. Surely if there is some causation, they would have said so...even though they made sure they are not required by law to tell you any of it...but surely...they would have told you on their own.

major facepalm...

Is there a federal organic food damages court? No? How about a special law created by Congress to insulate organic food companies from lawsuits and laws that grant them special exemptions of reporting responsibilities? Again, no? What about a squadron of federal carnival barkers to goad the public into eating organic food, either through lies of efficacy, coverups of negative effects, or flat out group think and peer pressure? Still no?

Your attempt at a straw man FAILS.

Lucidity: Fascinating.

As a father of two autistic boys, and my case may not be the norm, I knew there was a condition present at birth with my oldest, well before he was vaccinated. It took about 2 years to diagnose as autism and many thousands of dollars in doctors visits and testing. So for my case vaccination had no correlation to my sons autism. My second son was more towards the aspburgers side of the spectrum and was diagnosed at about 3, but still I saw no correlation to vaccines since his brother was autistic. My other children had no issues whatsoever, so maybe genetics plays a greater part than any other factor, for my case.

Or... maybe... just maybe... as folks became increasingly aware of the potential health hazards inherent in processed foods and medicines, including vaccines, these folks increasingly turned to organic foods and natural supplements as a way to protect themselves in part from said threats. Increased knowledge of both health dangers and increased knowledge of health protections would work together. Perhaps there is both correlation and causation.

Just a thought.

No, not all courts and their rulings and their gag orders are open to public scrutiny, including the vaccination courts.

The proper question is "why" is it secret? The only good answer I can come up with is to protect the profits of Big Pharma from their own bad behavior.... well, and to protect the campaign coffers of the crony capitalists taking their shekels of silver.

But noone was suggesting a causal link between the rise in vaccinations and the rise in organic food.

The argument was vaccinations can cause autism vs organic food can cause autism.
