Way to oversimplify things.

- They didn`t wanted it, see here

- China was at the brink on making huge investments in the Ukraine very fast, see here

- Over 60% of Ukrainian export went to the East, see here

- Europe isn`t waiting on Ukrainian stuff

- Now their soil is going to be mistreated by Monsanto, see here

- Their grounds are going to be fracked while they don`t want it, see here

- Ukraine will get plundered just like Russia was in the 90s by The West, see here

So why would they want to be part of The West ?

@ Crimea - RT - Putin acknowledges Russian military serviceman were in Crimea

Note the date of the article you linked Putins comment was made on Thursday, April 17 2014. One month after the referendum. Putinadmitted to sending Russian troops into Crimea after the referendum was completed not before.

As I pointed out in my headline in the post IF TRUE. I have provided all the verification I can for now. It is something to keep an eye on for us. In time it will either pan out as true,or not. We shall have to see. No where in my post did I say I was certain of Yaksenyuk having got the passport and citizenship.

When Russia withdraws their forces from where? Crimea? It must be because that's the only place with Russian government forces.

Watch the Vice special report at this link, part 1,2,3 and see if you still believe Russia has no military forces in East Ukraine.

note that Putin denied any of those individuals were Russian troops until after the fact...

Gee I wonder why Putin lied? Oh, that's right, it would have been seen as an invasion. That's right, because it was an invasion. I don't understand why you are so dense with this information?

Now your calling other posters dense? what is it with you, you sound like such an angry women, yes I think your female, and also didn't you make a huge BS thread a few weeks ago comparing Putin to Hitler, not going to bother linking it as I would have to spend days looking for it thru all your anti putin, anti Russian longwinded BS threads.

I do believe it was someones BS longwinded blog you got your propaganda from, but apparently its acceptable for you to state your info is valid from a blog but no other posters. I have read all the threads on Ukraine, I have since it all began, WHY HAVENT YOU BEEN BANNED FROM UKRAINE THREADS,YOU ARE SO ANNOYING FOR THE REST OF US who are genuinely interested in what is happening there. Most of us leave the threads and don't post because of your domineering narcissistic disorder. please just stop.

These are the same guys that deny everything from a Zionist point of view.

Russia is no worse than most in the world, and I hate to say it but they appear to be stronger and more reasonable to me everyday as I remove my Christian fear mongered upbringing.

I can say that, because any analysis of the threads shows a complete bias born of what you would head in Christian churches who want us to believe what the enemy is, and is not.

It is beyond highly unlikely that I have Russia to thank for ruining my existence and wrecking the world, it is more than tiresome being told what to think in the West about something and then finding out the same dam idiots trying to destabilize things are behind 9/11.

Watching people parrot the most insane diabolical lies towards all of humanity is the most disappointing however.

These people just do not get it, that they are not helping but HURTING the world with the closed minded, and pointless rhetoric.

Either the truth is clear, or it is not, and we do not see truth coming from the WEST at a FASTER rate than the supposed scums we are taught to hate.

THAT should be what is focused on, but no we have to continue on drumming ourselves into insanity believing some morons take on the BIBLE.

I have many ideas as to who foments this all, but it is beyond boring and needless that people attack RUSSIA as if it is some ALL POWERFUL END to the desperate lives they cling too.

We were talking about armed Russians during the Crimean referendum.....so 'pics or it didn't happen' is still a valid request.

You mean like this one...

or this one...

Both the day before the referendum...or did they just go home before the referendum was voted on.

I also find this to be very telling although you seem to try and dismiss this but here you go...

In an interview on the ‘Polit-Ring TV show on Russia's NeuroMirTV earlier this week, Girkin, who was present throughout the seizure of Crimea before playing a leading role in the Russian insurgency in east Ukraine, admitted that the whole referendum was only possible thanks to the presence of Russian troops.

Enough said.

And one of the main players during the taking of Crimea admits that Russian troops were the reason the referendum was done.

Ex-insurgent leader Igor Girkin ('Strelkov') has admitted in a recent Russian TV interview that the March 2014 Crimean referendum was forced through by Russian occupation forces and received almost no local support.

uatoday.tv...

You might want to actually look into what you think is the truth because even Vlad says your wrong...

Russian President Vladimir Putin has acknowledged that Russian troops were present in Crimea before the referendum and argued that was necessary to let Crimeans make the choice on the future of the region.

rt.com...

Sorry but they were there before, during, and after the referendum.

When they are going to dispute what Putin has stated yes, I will call them dense.

I am male and not female although it really has no bearing on the topic.

The thread comparing Hitler and Putin is apparently one you did not bother to read. It was an opinion piece and I asked for a similar comparison to the west and asked members to support their accusations against the west with sources so we can see how they arrived at their opinion.

I have stated time and again and apparently I have to repeat it for you. I am NOT anti-Russian. I AM ANTI-Putin.

Your personal attacks aside do you have anything to add to the topic?

I always find it sad when someone drags religion into a thread where it has no bearing.

In the west we can disagree with our government and protest against it.

You cant say the same for Putins administration can you?

What? You do realize that majority of the people living in the Eastern Ukraine, are RUSSIANS especially in Crimea? What you call illegal, i call legal. Everybody has a choice in deciding in what country they want to live in.

You know what i call illegal? The overthrow of the legally elected president Yanuckovich. But i don't hear anybody complaining about that.

Hmm maybe it's been a few years since I looked at a map, but I thought Crimea was apart of Ukraine and not Russia. No yeah..I'm right.. lol so just because people are Russian they should be able to override a countries sovereignty?

I guess I shouldn't be surprised a Serbian point of view.

But what isn't illegal was the impeachment proceedings of Yanukovych which his own party was part of. Something which he ultimately ran from to Russia with the help of Putin.

Here this may be of some interest to you as to why he was being impeached...

Actually, yes, you can, and people do.

Maybe you also missed all the peaceful protests in our own countries where the government sends in the goon squads to crack a few heads and shower people with pepper spray?

As for the "leadership" in Ukraine, seems there are a lot of them with dual nationality. Hedging their bets I'd say and ready to bolt. Not to mention the foreigners they bestowed Ukrainian citizenship onto so they could join the government.

That thread was nonsense. You want a comparable person to Hitler. One word....... Bush

They both authorised the wars that killed millions of people who practised another religion

Yes the overthrow was an illegal act orchestrated by you know who................. The USA via Stratfor

The Russians in Ukraine should be getting US support as an oppressed minority. That's what Americans do isn't it, stand up for oppressed minorities (as long as Russia's in the cross hairs). Please USA arm Donetsk and Luhansk plus bomb Kiev and hit it with your dandy cruise missiles, just like you backed up the muslims in ex Yugoslavia, then call for an independent state like Bosnia or Kosovo and fill it with listening posts and bases.

As far as I have read,Yanukovych did not run because of impeachment. You don't get shot for that. What he did run from was the fact that his security had run off because they were being shot at on the Maiden and he felt he was next. Right Sector was shooting at any and everyone and there is film of them in the windows with their guns, they wanted to disrupt things and they did. I would have left at that point too. Do you think our president would stick around if his secret service fled?

Really Russian troops were in Crimea, wouldn't have anything to do with the fact it's home to their warm water naval base and the fact that Right Sektor and Svoboda would of been terrorizing voters if it wasn't for those peacekeeping forces. right only the UN has peacekeeping forces because we all know NATO is the police force of the world and damn everybody else. Yeah kinda like Yugoslavia which doesn't exist anymore due to the criminal support by the UN/NATO of Islamic Extremists. Remember that little insurgency that destroyed a country over baseless accusations of genocide. The similarities are incredible but I doubt you were shouting from the rooftops over that were you.

Once again you fail to comprehend what certain powers have been doing across the entire planet for the last 50+ years in order to ensure discord and profitability for the western war machine and corporate profits. Keep your blinders on and be part of the problem. Hopefully it won't be you or yours who gets caught in the middle when that iron fist comes to your neighborhood.

Frankly who gives a s#$7 whether troops were there or not! It's the same pile different place and all your finger pointing and name calling isn't going to change a g0ddam thing. Why don't you do a little browsing and compare Russia and the US/West when it comes to causing these little blowups. I bet the count would be like 30 -1 for the US/West. Hardly something to be proud of and to say the US/West didn't start this crisis is foolish considering they are responsible for just about every other one since WWII.

I'm like you and no fan of Putin but I do respect him and can hardly blame him when his country is getting crowded into a corner by the most evil and corrupt forces on the planet.

I guess time will tell how this plays out. My money is on the Chinese .
