It's actually incredibly harmful, if you try to start having a sensible conversation with anyone significant about real potential issues then you now run the risk of being cut off and dismissed because people will assume you're part of the chemtrail crowd.
Worse, if anyone ever attempts or is arrested for planning to take down an aircraft (as some people threaten to do) and it makes mainstream news it's going to put off anyone from carrying out any serious investigations into real areas of concern.

The stupid thing is, the actual real contrails do cause issues when they become clouds - no fantasy chemicals or paranoia required! The days when the volcano was erupting and we had no air traffic over Europe were beautiful too.

You can even take part in data collection and observations for NASA to help in the study of this very real issue:

Time Required: Contrails can be observed, photographed and reported in only a few minutes a day. Scientific studies of contrails take more time and can provide important scientific information.
Background:
Contrails can spread into cirrus clouds that reduce sunlight during the day, thus causing a cooling effect. But contrails also trap heat during both the day and the night. It is not yet certain if the net result of these effects warms or cools the Earth, but most studies indicate that contrails have a net warming effect on our planet.

Scientists at NASA’s Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia found that the increase in temperature over the United States from 1975 to 1994 closely matched the increase expected from the presence of contrails. Dr. Patrick Minnis is a senior research scientist at the Langley Research Center. He has measured a one percent per decade increase in cirrus cloud cover over the United States, which is likely due to contrails. Minnis estimates that cirrus clouds from contrails increased the temperatures of the lower atmosphere by anywhere from 0.36 to 0.54 degrees F per decade. Minnis’s results show good agreement with weather service data, which reveal that the temperature of the surface and lower atmosphere rose by almost 0.5 degrees F per decade between 1975 and 1994.

That's "doing something" and if you wanted to help people and the world in general you would take part in studies like this and promote them, of course there's no profit involved....
If not, you can just carry on feeding the fears of paranoid hypochondriacs by continuing to convince them that they're being poisoned by the Government with chemicals deployed by normal aircraft..

Wow, you've really got me cornered.

Hopefully one day, we can all be as caught up on these topics as yourself. We won't need to attend lectures on topics we're unsure of and should just read a couple posts on websites like this to provide our paradigm. Researchers usually require compensation for lectures/presentations. Venues, flights, hotels, etc. come at a price.

Just like you having the freedom to choose what you want to believe, people have the freedom to choose to attend or not.

It's funny watching people respond and react like this. Perhaps you should all step out from behind your computers and take the lead on how to educate others.

Firstly, this scam artist putting on this show isnt educating anyone. He/she (whoever is in charge) is selling false truths, false science and false hope to fake problems. He is as low as one can be, preying on gullible people, using their health as a tool to get money.

Secondly, you say its easier to sit and so nothing and complain and complain and that Network Dude should take the lead in educating others? Well, i suggest you read the 23 pages of threads in this sub forum. He and others HAVE taken the lead to educate people and they have done the exact opposite of sit and do nothing and complain.

Thirdly, you ask how do we suggest you carry on your reserach? Easy...read the 23 pages of threads on chemtrails in this sub forum. The HUGE amount of links and info and knowledge is more than you will ever need to form the complete picture.

Its all there mate..the truth, the sceince and the logic. It's up to you to be open to it.

But please dont insinuate that the debunkers here have done nothing to educate people as that just shows you have not read that much on the matter here at ATS

First of all, that first sentence you wrote makes no sense whatsoever. It simply doesnt work like that. And considering that HAARP cant be directed or steered...even if the metal particles in the air theory were true (which it really isnt) it would be pointless.

Secondly. Of course she doesnt sound like a kook. Shes a smartypants who figured out how to rake in the cash from gullible people. Shes done her "research" and found what sounds plausible scientifically and sold it. Shes not stupid.
