It will be very likely she will serve time.

If he did molest the kid then what she did was a choice(not really a good one) to try and punish the man for his behavior. People who grow up in households where spanking is the norm etc. think that more pain is somehow going to fix someone or make them "pay" for bad behavior.

Either way, the law is mostly useless in truly taking care of molesters and the victims themselves. So again what she did was a choice to create some "justice" since the chance of our broken justice system doing the right thing is very low at this point.

If she was going to create justice she should have at least been humane and gone the gun route or not done anything at all.

That's just my personal opinion.

Here's a report from Washington state(where the lady is from that I could see from articles) that states the average stay in jail for a child molester is 44 mos. compared to 60 for adults. Couldn't find one that was more recent, but that is the nature of government reports such as these...they don't always come out in updated intervals.

www.wsipp.wa.gov...

Recent until 2004

Either way if they actually update the case it will be interesting to see if she gets more than 44 mos in prison.

You're defending a persons right to life; a right they forfeit by sexually abusing a child. If we had harsher punishments for such things, there'd be less of it. & the more evil humans you put down, the more good ones are left.

Life in prison is too good for them; & convicted rapists don't even get close to that usually.

How did he forefeit his right to life??? Punishment should be equal to the crime and the crime here is not worthy of death if proven to be true....

I'm pretty sure anyone who has ever been raped would respectfully disagree with you.
If you dont think the world would be a better place by euthanizing any & all perpetrators of violent crime, you're delusional.

What absurd logic is that.....
Punishment is not determined by the whims of victims but according to the evident harm caused......
Otherwise, the victim of any crime would determine the punishment.....

Did I say anywhere that a victim should personally choose the punishment? No, I said Violent Crime = death. You make a decision to rape someone, you get put down. End of story, kumbaya, live long & prosper (unless your a piece of # child molestor or something similar)

Yep & if you take the letters of that sentence & rearrange them it would say "Victims should be allowed to determine the punishment for their offenders under all circumstances".

Wait a minute....where'd that V come from?

LOL isn't people who were raped victims?

I understand the emotions in this thread. But we cannot let our emotions overcome law and common sense and reason.

We have come a long way to becoming a civilized nation.

Well, I can't say I fault her for her actions. I might have done much worse in her shoes. Nevertheless, the courts can't exactly let this go. She at least has to stand trial.

Why? Because it's the Lauuu!? Tons of cops kill unarmed people on a weekly, sometimes daily basis in the US... while some of them go on trial for it, not all of them do. Media anchors have been lying for decades without being sued for misrepresentation.

Why the women have to risk GOING TO PRISON over defending their children? The man was proven to be abusing her daughter no?

An hardcore response to an hardcore situation of abuse... This will send a clear message to all the other abusing fathers, that mothers can go insane and be dangerous too.

What the actual #. Ever heard of due process? There is a reason we have this, and don't just go around vigilante street style justice servicing. She deserves to be locked up for the better half of 30 years for this.

Why are you going off track here?

The man was proven to be abusing her daughter no?

No it was not proven at that time.

We have no right to be a judge, jury and executioner, ever.

If a person were in the process of committing violent felony to another person and you are there, then YES you have to stop them in any way possible, even killing them.

Them being hanged would be ok, to meet you half way of course.

Yes I have problem with that. It makes YOU sadistic and as bad or worse as them

You need to rethink those warped beliefs. Obviously children continue to be harmed.

It's pretty sad that you think that because I disagree with you I defend them

Apparently I am just as, or WORSE than them because I want scum bags who abuse children to pay the ultimate price? Think about what you're saying?

No YOU calm down. You're the one who is riled up. I'm perfectly fine.

LMAO! Could have fooled me, you seem very angry because I don't see things your failed way.

Look, You and I do not need to be enemies just because we do not share the same idea about the solution to a problem that needs to finally be solved. ~$heopleNation

Do you have trouble comprehending what you just read? That is exactly what I said! Jeezus, read already!

and

This is what I said:

You don't care that we are civilized? That tells me a lot about you.

You told me to calm down because of that statement. How did my statement go across to you as appearing angry? Making an observation is not the same as being angry.

Look, You and I do not need to be enemies just because we do not share the same idea about the solution to a problem that needs to finally be solved.

I am not here to make enemies. I am here to discuss topics.

I agree that this problem needs to be solved. Torturing, burning, hanging (and whatever sadistic need you have) them is not the answer. It will not solve the problem.

Eliminating all violent criminals will not stop the problem.

LMAO! Yeah right, why don't you open your eyes? All your so called civilized society nonsense is just that, nonsense.

Due process? Of course. However once prosecuted, and if it's a child as the victim backed up with DNA evidence, then they should be brutally executed.

Listen I respect your opinion, but I do not support any mercy whatsoever for child molesters. Nope, fight fire with fire. In fact, it would be mandatory death penalty, no life in prison option.

Also, people who murder and torture people fall into the same category, so that would include creatures like Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy, Leonard Lake & Charles NG ect. ~$heopleNation
